A good family hotel in old Baku: a friendly young host who loves his hotel and values hospitality. We rented 2 rooms for a family, as the rooms themselves are small and designed on average for no more than 2 people (which our children were very happy about) :). At the same time, the price of accommodation is very adequate, which includes an excellent hearty breakfast in a restaurant near the hotel. Even at the beginning, we were very surprised - how is it that with a small price for rooms and breakfast in a restaurant (food prices in Baku are not the most "modest") - in a conversation with the owner of the hotel, it turned out that he is also the owner of the restaurant. The hotel has its own cozy lounge area where you can sit and make yourself a coffee/tea. Yes, a number of minor points need to be corrected (bedside sconces and towels need to be updated - but the owner himself said in a conversation that they would fix it in the very near future), but the warm welcome itself both in the hotel and in the restaurant leave only good overall impressions.
The hotel is well located in the old city of Baku, not far from the entrance gate. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean. Of the cons. 1. Rooms without windows facing the street. The windows overlook the stairs. There is practically no sound insulation. The room had a broken switch, table lamps, a shower, and a backlit mirror in the bathroom. The hotel has its own restaurant nearby. It is better not to take food, then you will not figure out whether to pay or not.
Great hotel! Excellent location - at the turn of Tsinel-tsygel ai liu-liu. The owner helps, tells you about the little things of the city, a very good-natured kid. Everything is neat, there is a tea station, towels, bathrobes, shampoos. The ceilings are high, cool! We lived in a large room with a balcony - a fairy tale!
