Unfortunately, I am Russian, but even with this disadvantage, no one has said a bad word to me in Kazakhstan, a kind country. Thank you Kazakhstan for the kind welcome!
The bus station of my childhood))) since childhood, we have traveled from this bus station in all directions and the prices are normal, the transport is also good (there is of course better, but more expensive) so I recommend it 👍👍👍
The train station is like a train station, the architecture is in the Soviet style, but the dining room is in terrible condition, they wanted to eat, it seems to me that the Soviet dining room is even better.
So the bus station is not bad. But, there is something to work on. Savages, touts. Left, and without insurance. They compete furiously, taking away customers. We need to work on this.
Parking is large and convenient. You can have a delicious meal. You can go anywhere in Kazakhstan .plus, the post-Soviet building resembles the 80s pleasantly.
Of course, the car dealership wants the best, the iron chairs are all in such a dying state. It feels like they're only taking money from him, but they don't want to invest it.
Pretty clean, but everything needs updating. The last repair seems to have been done in the Soviet Union. And it is maintained in good condition. The staff is very friendly, they will tell you, tell you, help you within their capabilities. The parking lot is large, but poorly cleaned in winter. I did not go into the dining room, but there is one) since the buses depart on time without delay, I did not have to wait.
This building is the heritage of Soviet Kazakhstan, built at that time in the Capital of Alma-Ata, and now it reminds of those distant times! Sairan Bus Station for many people over 40 is already a story that has seen different people, different ages, Special thanks to Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich Kunaev for the many beautiful historical sights built in Almaty!!!
Thanks to all the builders, architects, workers and everyone who built and transformed the city of Almaty!!!
To the younger generation, take care of the buildings, trees, and roads built by your fathers!!!
There used to be a great bus station, recently a scary, dark one came in. Some kind of nostalgia for the past. No one knows anything, you ask the cashiers or the workers where the buses are, no one can really explain. Probably, those who often travel from here are not a problem. For beginners, you need to arrive a little earlier. The management probably needs to hang some signs, make the building brighter. This is my opinion, and so have a nice trip.
Semi-empty constantly, spacious, neat, clean. Cashiers sometimes make mistakes, but not critically, like everyone else))) It's just not clear why they put the frames on the entrance and exit, if no one is watching them?
Parking is paid, the restroom is also a mess in a circle, the staff, namely the cashiers, are always tired and dissatisfied. In general, the score out of 10/3 is the only one + voentorg is there!
It's a mess, like at all bus stations in the country, it's very unclear and surprising how outdated everything is there, everything is shabby, old, in general, it's not even very good... And it's sad...
As I arrived at this bus station, I ordered a taxi, the taxi arrived in principle quickly, but it turned out that when leaving the territory of the bus station, the taxi driver was asked for money for entry, just for entry, they did not even give free 15 minutes, perhaps the taxi driver drove in from the wrong side, but still had to pay since they did not let us out of the parking lot
Bus stations here live their own lives.
Navigation is intuitive. It is unclear which ticket offices are where and for what purpose. The schedule is conditional, the bus will go when the driver considers the number of people sufficient.
When I came to buy a ticket, there was one woman in front of me, but then, incredibly, 4 more women got in, who were yelling something, and the woman in front bought tickets for more than 20 minutes, chatted sweetly, laughed, while there was only one ticket office
A huge Soviet-era building with a paid toilet somewhere in the basement and an entrance from the street. It doesn't matter that you have a bus ticket in your hand. In general, nothing personal, just business. Otherwise, everything is simple, waiting areas, ticket offices, there is a dining room / cafe... We were traveling by bus from Almaty to Bishkek...
It's like I got into 1999. Since then, nothing has changed, if it hasn't gotten worse...
It's pathetic, there hasn't been a repair for a hundred years, the dispatcher went somewhere, because of her, a full bus waited 30 minutes in the heat
There are cameras all around, no place to drop off passengers. To send someone to another city, you need to drop them off 2 kilometers away and then return with your suitcases on foot.
The station is very beautiful. If you look from afar. Up close, of course, everything is not so rosy. It is clear that the building is being monitored, but it is still gradually decaying. The station clearly needs reconstruction and good cosmetic repairs
I can't assess how the bus station is, maybe everything is fine with that there, the buses are standing, the building is there, but with the routes there is complete chaos, no one knows where to which direction they go, they stand spontaneously, the problem is to leave, there is not one on Kapchagai, Taxi drivers rule the ball:) as a result, they get inconveniently, you wait still, it gets ready for now, then, having tightly packed up, you drive through traffic jams to the exit, but this has nothing to do with Cyran :)
It seems to me that the station and the service are clearly outdated for a city striving for world standards. But that 's not the main thing . The main thing is that for the first time in my life, a bus abandoned passengers while crossing the border. He just left. Everywhere and always they are waiting and counting on their heads. The distance is great along these borders. If there is luggage, it is difficult to move. It was impossible to even believe it .Flight Almaty-Bishkek , departure 12 o'clock at the local number on August 26.The bus number is probably 707. The air conditioners were practically not working .Shame on Kazakhstan. It seems to me that the transport system, bus schedules and the attitude of drivers need to be seriously reviewed. It's like they're from an ancient civilization. It is necessary to work seriously with the staff in such a city. I hope the 707 bus driver gets the punishment he deserves.
Everything is bad: screaming taxi drivers near the train station trying to catch a customer, a nasty saleswoman in a cafe, almost complete absence of ramps, there are a lot of entrance doors, but only a few are open. I would understand if this was explained by the guards and metal detectors at these entrances. But the metal detector doesn't work, the tape doesn't work either, there is no security. The building is clean inside and out. Thank you at least for the fact that you can pay for a ticket with a card (yes, now you can do this almost everywhere, but I wouldn't be surprised if it couldn't be done here). While waiting for the bus, you sit on a bench in front of it - some guy smokes and stinks all over the neighborhood, despite the forbidding signs. Employees - zero attention. When asked by an employee why no one tells him anything, the answer is in the style of "here he is a scoundrel, irresponsible." Also (it was not with me, but I was a direct witness) more tickets were sold than there are seats on the bus. As a result, the man had to ride either standing or on a step. How is that even possible?
There is a train station on the ground floor. On the second floor there is a market for ammunition, military and hunting, fishing. All kinds of backpacks, tents, berets (Butex, Dof, Grizzly, etc.).
I wouldn't say that everything is great, but it's not bad either, there are places where you can sit and conveniently find your route, I think you need a little repair, but everything is fine.
At night, they expel everyone except passengers, graze who has tickets, which flights are on the way. In short, you can't sit at night.

Oh, the renovation of this building, with the change in the appearance of Lake Sairan, would be a super contrast. The area would immediately sparkle with new colors - a place of attraction for citizens, new residential complexes. Of course, it is necessary to preserve the historical appearance, but with modern renovation
An interesting bus station. The bus station staff are very friendly people, explained everything, showed it was very pleasant, since it was the first time.Tickets are issued quickly. You can leave the bus station not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Kyrgyzstan, etc.
This station has not been repaired since the time of the chiefs. As well as all bus stations in our country. It makes me sad. But in general, all the necessary points have been met.
It is hard to stay at this bus station for a long time, the seats are not comfortable, there is no full lunch, I have not found a human hostel, I pray for repairs, but the main thing is that it fulfills its function. There is Parking nearby, the staff will go) bus station as a bus station, inherited from the USSR
If you look into the eyes of taxi drivers , they will immediately take you somewhere , but in general they will send a great place to anywhere in Kazakhstan and not only to other countries
From the bus station Sairan we will go to the city of Taraz,to the city of Astana. There is a route of buses, taxis. We take vouchers through these buses, pick up our things from other cities on time.
It's hard to say something good, alas and ah...Although the building is very interesting for architectural reasons, the current condition leaves much to be desired. Everything is old, it feels like it's dirty everywhere. When you come in from the street, it seems that you got into the Soviet Union or the 90s. And you wonder if our people have not deserved a beautiful, modernly equipped, comfortable building with excellent service since independence?!... And the building should be included in the list of architectural attractions, socially and historically valuable structures.
Toilets are paid as everywhere else, the building is spacious, a good train station. You can go in almost any direction by bus, there are recumbents and sitters, depending on where to go. Minibuses are also available.
