The restaurant in the mountains is a real discovery! The breakfasts here are really amazing: the variety of dishes and the excellent quality of the ingredients make every morning unforgettable. The atmosphere is cozy, the views from the windows are fascinating, especially at dawn. The staff is polite and attentive, ready to help with any questions. If you want to spend time in a beautiful place with excellent cuisine, this is the place for you!
Generally not bad, but for a homemade meal. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the views are gorgeous and open until 00. These are the main advantages. But the food and service don't match the cost.
A more or less decent place, with an acceptable cuisine. In the absence of anything else, it's generally an ideal option. Everything nearby closes together with the cable car. There is another Italian rest, it also works late, but the price tag is different!
A nice place at the Shimbulak hotel, glass panoramic windows add a cozy atmosphere, but the food itself is ordinary, slightly salty, does not even match its slightly overpriced price, but overall a pleasant place and cheaper than other restaurants at the base station. The service is not too fast, but if you stay for breakfast, you will be pleasantly surprised, good breakfasts)
The only restaurant on the mountain that is open after six. The rest is closed along with the lifts. The prices correspond to the place (still more than two thousand meters). The portions are super, the kitchen works very quickly. Fish on coals, various meats, lula, ribs, manti - everything is delicious. A good selection of bottled wines, they can recommend something unusual. Nice view, on the slope and sometimes for evening skiing.
Breakfast in the style of a "buffet", I did not get tired of it for a week. Cottage cheese, pancakes, porridges, a bunch of egg dishes, fresh and delicious oranges and even persimmons. Apple compote can be noted separately (Almaty nevertheless).
Great place, family vacation, delicious cuisine, pleasant atmosphere. A great place to spend time and have a good meal. Special thanks for the work of the waiter Malika
We ate. Warmed up after the unexpected rain.
It's generally atmospheric. It's nice to be here. It's not crowded. We found a table in the outer hall.
As a result, a "bread plate" was found in the receipt, which was not there. We ordered bread for the hodgepodge. But apparently the waiter was not up to it. The hodgepodge was eaten without bread.
The bill also included 1860 tenge for maintenance. And the bread itself is 890 tg.
Verdict - the place is good - the service is so-so.
A restaurant with a beautiful view. The price tag is high, but it corresponds to the location.
We ordered lamb stewed with vegetables. It was brought in 25 minutes. stylishly on a bubbling frying pan. But the dish is very salty, the lamb is tough, the oil in the pan is 5 mm. They put it on a plate. We expected much more, but we ate enough. There was no heartburn!!!
1) The quality of the dishes is average, in Almaty we ate much more delicious. I can't say that it's bad, but it's a fact that it's better. At the same time, the serving size is not super.
2) There may be no dishes on the menu. For example, mulled wine is simply not served at some point because homemade wine has run out. Instead, they offer mulled wine from Malbec, at a price of more than 1000 rubles per glass (!!!). It's also unpleasant - how can there not be pilaf in an Asian institution? At the entrance to the cafe, he is greeted by a beautiful diploma of a participant in the pilaf championship, but there is no pilaf on the menu, we asked - there is no menu either. On the other hand, the duck kebab was really good, albeit a very small portion. Lamb shank is tender meat, a lot, but it is completely bland, it could be tastier
3) Breakfast is exactly the same every morning. It's easier for me, I love porridge, they are, and delicious, plus super cottage cheese, sour cream and kefir, but otherwise not very much - there is no slicing of cheese and sausages at all, there is no toaster available to visitors, and the toasts taken out to visitors in the basket are cold and stale. Coffee or tea - strictly a mug per person, then - for an additional fee, which is not super at all.
4) it is quite cool in the hall, it will be uncomfortable without outdoor shoes in winter, and it happens that there are no empty seats at lunch, which is nonsense for a cafe at the hotel.
In general, the quality is a solid three, and in terms of price-quality ratio, I would not put more than two, the prices are very, very high, however, realizing that this is a cafe in a ski resort, I will leave a three
It's terribly tasteless, from the word at all, all the food is too salty, in any other rest on the mountain It's MUCH cheaper and tastier. The service also leaves much to be desired (they brought a broken glass and a fork instead of a spoon to the borscht). Disappointed, for that kind of money, it's just tin
The barbecue is not very good. That's who you're going to run into. They came once after lunch. 4 times they called the waiter, did not wait and went to the assorted. We came the next day in the evening and the waiter was good, he did a good job. In general, the food is average, but the prices are expensive, of course, depending on the location. The breakfasts are the same every day, but in general it will work. The hotel in which this institution is located requires renovation. There's not even a water drain in the shower, it just doesn't work. The toilet has not been repaired. The price for the room is 50,000 tenge. There is nothing but beds, a TV and a hanger. By the way, there is also no hanger in the toilet and there is nowhere to hang towels. There is no television, but there is good Internet, you can watch YouTube on the TV. The rooms are cool. The beds are comfortable. It's expensive, but it's not worth it at all.
And have breakfast and dinner. The portions are large, the food is delicious, the interior is slightly amateur)) the prices are higher than in the city, but quite adequate, the service is measured, polite and pleasant))
The food is very tasty. Plus, there is a restaurant in the only hotel on the mountain, especially if you live there.
Try pilaf. On the mountain, it is made only here. And in general, the lamb is cooked here very tasty. I recommend local teas.
There is also European cuisine. But the local one tastes better.
And the prices are more attractive than in neighboring establishments.
The waiters were constantly disappearing, as if in the Bermuda Triangle: the order and the bill were carried for half an hour each time. The high cost of the dishes does not correspond to the quality of their preparation. The restaurant is much lower than average.
