We have just returned from this amazing tour, I immediately want to thank our guides Murat and the guide historian Rustam - these are wonderful, smart, funny and great guys with whom our tour flew by like one day, how cool, interesting, fun and easy it was.Amazing places that take your breath away, the time on the road flew by unnoticed, the bus and the driver were at the highest level. Everything is perfectly organized, you are met, settled, everything is explained, etc., etc. If I was worried about how it would all be, but thank God that I agreed to go, these memories will remain for the rest of my life.
If anyone doubts, do not hesitate to go!!! Just read carefully all the reviews and the tour program to understand what to expect from this tour, because the tour is very active, but who is used to seeing only the good, you go there!!!)
Many thanks to Sarabi travel and our wonderful guides Ravil and Inara for this fabulous and magical trip
Immersion, saturation, informativeness, the general organization of the tour is on top!🔥🇹🇷
And what wonderful people we met on this trip is beyond words😍
The charge of emotions from the beauty and immensity of all that we have seen is off the scale🔝🫶
Thanks a hundred times to all involved ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm ready to write an honest review :)
I saw a lot of negativity at the bottom, and indeed it's all true. But the positive aspects were overlooked in these reviews.
I'll write down our experience now, and it's up to you to decide whether to go with them or not.
So, we received vouchers for the Antalya-Pamukkale-Kapadokia trip. Let's start in order
1 day. We arrived at the airport at 5 a.m., were met and taken to the hotel. We warned you in advance that the transfer will cost $ 40 for two people. Well OK
Upon arrival, we were told that if we wanted to check in earlier, we would have to pay $100 (you will often hear the phrase "pay" :)
We refused, and the guide immediately rolled out a price list for us so that we could pay for entrance tickets and meals. Since some trips will take from 10 hours, we decided to pay for a minimum package of $305 per person.
We went to look for a place to refresh ourselves, because breakfast is not available on the first day, and the hotel is honestly located in the railway station. The hotel is called Port River.
When leaving the hotel, if you go to the right, there will be two markets, where in one of them the seller speaks Russian. He basically helped us with everything. We learned from him where it is better to eat, where prices are more acceptable and how to get there. He will continue to help us in the same way.
At 2 p.m. we checked into the hotel. Stated 5*, but with a stretch of maximum 3*. But more or less the hotel is ok. And this is the only hotel where there has always been delicious food.
Day 2. We went on a sightseeing tour to Antalya. We were taken to partner stores, like a leather goods factory and a Thai pharmacy. It's all just absurd and a complete waste of a lot of time.
Then there was a tour of the old town, it was very beautiful and we got positive emotions. By the way, the guide, who is the top tourist in Turkey, is very interesting to listen to, will always support the conversation and answer all questions.
Day 3. We left for Pamukkale. By the way, we wrote below that life on the bus, and yes, it's a really long time. But what did you want? It's a bus tour.
Of course, we are taken in parallel again to some kind of store where we have to get our wallets. But it's all bullshit, honestly. You can buy everything much cheaper in Manavgat or Antalya.
We stopped in the old town, where there are also blue pools. Everything went well, we went up to the amphitheater and even had time to walk on our own.
We were checked into a hotel with thermal springs. The dinner was just as disgusting as the breakfast. It's almost impossible to eat, the staff is rude. The hotel looks like a 90s sanatorium in the countryside, the rooms are the same. (The hotel is called Colossae Spa, also by the way "5*", well, they obviously take these numbers out of their heads)
Day 4.
We are going to Cappadocia.
The journey took about 10-13 hours.
The hotel was Suhan 5* upon check-in. It looks very good from the outside, and so does the lobby, but in fact you can't walk in rooms without slippers, the faucets haven't been wiped for several years. In short, just darkness. The food was terrible, it was impossible to just choose something. As a result , we ate bread with sausage 🙂
Day 5.
In the morning we went to look at the balls, by the way, it costs $ 30 per person. If you don't pay for it, then stay at the hotel.
It was just gorgeous, gorgeous and magical. It's a little cold, but if you dress warmly, then everything is great. There are no complaints
at all, then we booked a horse ride, and sarabi also offers it as one of the entertainment options.
It was the worst thing I paid money for, and I left crying like a beluga, just out of pity for these animals. Horses in a field in a 10x5 levada, without food or water, thin, not well-groomed, young and not worn out, which are dangerous to ride.
Naturally, we told the Sarabi guides this. What do you think?! They didn't even apologize to me for the shit they were offering, much less refund the money. Hurtful
Also on this day we went to look at volcanic tuffs, old houses and viewing platforms - it was interesting.
Day 6.
We are going back to Antalya. We go back to some jewelry stores where everything is super expensive and where they make dishes out of clay. Everything is also three times expensive, you can buy the same thing cheaper in the city.
We arrive at the hotel where we would have been on the first day and get high from the fact that we can eat normal food again. 🙂
Day 7.
It was a free day.
The guides offered to take us to Antalya for $ 25 per person so that we could walk freely for 4 hours.
We went by ourselves, saved 2 times on the road and had more time.
In general, something like that. Also, every day we were taken for lunch to some cafes, where each time there was a standard menu. Salad, meat with rice and soup. I was sick of it at the end.
+ we paid for Sarabi's tickets so that they could pick up the flights for us on their own. We gave away $1,000, and as a result, the day before the return flight, we changed the flight from a direct flight to a connecting flight. No apologies, no apologies, no compensation
I also want to say that the guides were good from sarabi (when they weren't trying to give us something). It was quite pleasant to interact and communicate with them, but only on those topics where there is no benefit for them)))
Would I go if I read this review?
Yes, I would probably go once. Because it's quite difficult to see these places, and there will be more firebrands to get there themselves.
The emotions are positive from the beauty that we saw, but Sarabi's service and approach are complete
So, I won a voucher for a trip to Turkey. Antalya- Pamukkale- Cappadocia- Antalya
I say right away that it's not worth going there without money. Because the hotels are located in remote places and you will not be able to buy food in shops or go to a cafe.
Packages will be offered to you upon arrival. The most optimal one is for $ 305
It includes lunches and dinners. As well as entrances to museums and the dervish dance.
5 star hotels.
There were a lot of bus crossings (there were no night crossings)
The guides are Russian-speaking Turks. It's interesting to tell and show everything.
They will also take you to:
Fashion Show (Turkish brand of clothing leather fur)
Jewelry (premium)
To the clay master (by the way, he was shown in the Eagle and Tails with Ivleeva)
To the store of natural stones and products made from them. For example, figurines, glasses (I really liked it)
Textile Store
Wine tasting. (The wine there is simply bombastic)
And in all these establishments, you will want to buy something anyway!
So take more money!)
It was sad to leave, I even had a desire to go again!)
P.s. The only minus is one star for not being warned in advance about the packages that you want - you don't want but you have to buy.
(Although probably if I had known, I would not have gone) and would have lost a lot of impressions.
So we did everything right!)
I would also add that there are a lot of stray animals in Turkey. And it would be great if you took some water on trips around Turkey to give them something to drink and eat for the dogs)
Hello, everyone who reads the reviews and wants to go to Turkey for a vacation with the Sarabi travel travel agency. I have never seen the worst service anywhere. There is deception and extortion of money at every step. We traveled 8-10 hours by bus for 5 days. On the very first day, packages with lunches and dinners and museum entrances were sold, as well as a Turkish bath where no one will serve you properly. My wife and I never had a spa treatment and refused to refund the money. It's very dirty and disgusting. Drinks and snacks should be served in the bar until 12 at night, and in fact, snacks are removed at 22.30 and generally closed at 23.00. The only snacks for alcohol are chips. In general, it totally sucks.
To begin with, the tour was a gift.
We bought tickets with my sister and it took almost $ 1,000
As soon as we boarded the bus, the guide who met us talked about money all the way. In a word, extortion is beautiful . Money is everywhere. I didn't feel like I was on vacation. I have to buy their food packages, as the hotel is located 100 km from Antalya, there is nothing nearby except the hotel. I do not recommend such a vacation to anyone!!!
Great vacation, super interesting program (except for the shops where they deliver))) Historian guide Ramiz, this is something magical, you can just listen to his stories for days. The multi-hour crossings were easily tolerated, as they stopped every 1.5 hours. I really enjoyed the trip. The only thing is that it would be a little longer, 4-5 days to enjoy the excursions longer. I knew right away what conditions I was going on. Many people think that they were given a tour, they will only pay for the flight, food and will lie at sea for 8 days))? Funny. I didn't regret for a minute that I was on this Tour.
It's terrible, don't buy a Sarabi travel tour. Just a solid divorce for money!
As soon as they find out that you don't want to pay for extra meals at almost $ 400 per person, then the problems begin:
1. The so-called "guide" Ruslan immediately demanded payment for an additional fee upon arrival at the hotel.nutrition. I replied that I was on duty and would think about it after I rested. The circus started - he jumped up, shouted and said that I was a bad person and did not like Turkish cuisine. After that, he went to the reception and said something in Turkish.
2. Before settling in, they asked to pay another $ 102 for the turnstile in Pamukkale. I had to pay (photo in the app).
3. All those who paid extra.the food was settled, but we are not. They said that the room is not ready, well, it happens))) When I came up at 14 o'clock, the room card (key) was taken out from under the keyboard.
4. On the second day, there was an excursion in the schedule, but I was not informed and the excursions were not added to the chat))
5. I bought accommodation in another hotel, decided to go to a hotel on the coast, asked for a refund of $ 102 before leaving, but ... it turns out I still owe them)) They didn't let you out of the hotel in a taxi! For a day's stay in the room, they counted $ 140 and a transfer of $ 40 (the guide exposing the debt in the photo)
6. They also wanted to impose a fine of $ 120 for not going on a tour, but admitted that they had not added to the chat and had not warned about the tour.
7. TOTAL= another $ 78 to pay them and $ 1,440 for accommodation in a new hotel 🤷🏻♂️
It's good that the plane tickets were bought separately! It's not much of a story, but I wanted to share a sad experience. Do not buy such trips and do not accept such gifts!
Unfortunately, we read reviews about the company after we purchased the tour. We were very upset by the organizers' attitude towards tourists. As it turned out, this tour left only negative impressions about the trip.
Firstly, upon arrival, we were immediately forced to buy a package (lunches, dinners, tickets to the tour. places, the Turkish Bath program) for $ 335 per person. Since we were accommodated exclusively in hotels that are located on the outskirts of the city away from cafes, we had to agree.
Secondly, the package also included tickets to the tour.places. And in fact, only in one place did our guide guide us through the tickets.
Thirdly, instead of the promised hour-and-a-half Turkish Bath program, there was an express program for 40 minutes with a very mediocre service.
Fourthly, on the last day of our stay, we find out that it turns out that we also have to pay for the transfer, although the sarabi managers did not mention this.
And this is in addition to the fact that each of our trips was accompanied by visits to different factories, collecting tips for the driver, additional fees on excursions.
I just don't advise guys not to waste energy , effort and money , it's better to buy a full-fledged tour for that kind of money (you buy a ticket anyway + $ 335 packages per person + in some places you will still pay yourself although they said all inclusive , hotels do not serve you (since this is not included in their contract ) you will also ride the bus for 12-8 hours a day , you will get tired, all the best and all the best
We were on such a tour in October 2023. It was really cool!!!! Wonderful guides who take care day and night to make sure that everything is good for tourists. A great comfortable bus, the driver of which goes carefully (and the Turks like to drive), including along the serpentine. There have never been any complaints from passengers. Hotels..yes, not 5*, but from a group of 30 people, no one was particularly indignant. We only slept in them, and at 5-6 in the morning we drove on. The beds are normal. they feed well...there wasn't much else to do.
The hotel in Kemer was generally wonderful. Those who lived there on the "All Inclusive" system definitely left in buns. Fed without stopping)
BUT! When we were just planning our vacation, and tried to find out at the travel agency how much money we should take with us and what expenses we would need, we were told that only for lunches and dinners...500 dollars for two will be enough. No!!!. 500 will be enough for just one. Provided that you still want to bring sweets and souvenirs home. We took more and were not mistaken. The guides have developed "packages" that include everything so that the rest is exactly a rest, and not running around somewhere to eat cheaper, because they took little money with them. We were flying from Yekaterinburg, and we thought that it was only we were not informed of all the nuances, but no... we had a group from different parts of Russia, and all the information from the travel agency was similar.
In Turkey - at Sarabi travel everything is planned perfectly so that you don't feel sad and learn more about the history of Turkey...even on the bus they won't let you get bored...although the way is long.
Who is happy to accept what is happening here and now, this tour is for you. There will be a lot of impressions!!!
Have you been given a voucher from Sarabi Travel?
Smile and bring him back!Honestly.
The daughter was presented with a voucher at a talent contest, there was no limit to the child's happiness.
I trusted the organizers, they won't slip anything bad. We activated the voucher, independently paid for the insurance of 7,500 rubles (non-refundable). We paid for the Moscow-Antalya, Antalya-Moscow air tickets ourselves. We were sent information about the hotels where we will stay and how the excursions will take place.
Upon arrival in Antalya, no one met us. We were looking for a friend with a sign, but he is not there. Figured it out, got through, came.
From the very beginning of dating, they give a price list for services. I'll attach a photo. I decided that this was not the first time we were in this beautiful country and we would have lunch and dinner on our own, but that was not the case! They began to guard us, not to let us out, all the time some kind of supervisor in the person of a guide asks where are you going, why? It is forbidden to leave. Yes, and they settled us in some village where there are no shops and cafes in the vicinity.
The excursions are held in the format now we will drive to the old part of Antalya, but first we will stop at the store of jackets and fur coats, where you will spend at least 1.5 hours, then you will drive to the Korean cosmetics store, where you will be processed for another 1.5 hours. Lunch-ATTENTION!Those who have not bought a happy package, stay waiting on the bus or near the bus. My daughter was very hungry and of course we went to lunch with them and paid $25 per person for pasta in cream on a one-time basis!then there is an excursion to the city. The guides are rude, all the talk is about money, if you don't buy "great deals" from him, then you will be hungry, tired and neurotic all the time. We did not buy, because the prices did not correspond to either the service or the hotels. In the morning, my team and I were supposed to go to Cappadocia and on the way we were supposed to be taken to a candy store and some other ...
I refused to continue such an excursion. We left for the 3rd day.
People, do not contact this organization if you want to save nerves and money. And I recommend beginners to study the reviews, I reread the reviews while on tour (unfortunately, I had to read at home) and really everything is like that!. Good luck to everyone!
The worst trip in 15 years of outdoor activities abroad 😖 If you like to live on the bus all week, see more partner stores than attractions, and feel like a wallet, this is it.
1. Initially, the condition was no night flights, and earlier check-in. As a result, they did not want to settle us overnight and in the morning, they extorted money for fictional "packages" - lunches and dinners + tickets to museums, at 300 euros per person.
2. They dragged us to partner stores with very aggressive sellers, it was corny to go there, and the bus was specially closed, or he was leaving. In the store, sellers attacked three people at once from all sides, forcing them to buy something from them!
3. Three five-star hotels were announced, but in reality each subsequent one was worse than the previous one. In the third hotel, all rooms were emergency. Someone's sockets didn't work, someone's plumbing was leaking, and so on.
The food in the hotels deteriorated similarly - in the first it was still not bad, in the third you can hardly eat anything.
At night before departure, they were already fed in a roadside canteen, they just immediately sat down at the tables and brought modest food in plates.
4. They cleaned the night in 4 hotels before departure and took us 11 hours by bus from Cappadocia immediately to the airport.
And the day before that, we drove 8 hours from Pamukale to Cappadocia.
I do not remember such an attitude towards tourists in the entire history of travel, we have been in many countries, and we have been to Turkey 4 times before, and I remember that the Turks always respected tourists and the service was excellent. It was not surprising to learn that the leaders of Sarabi are not Turks at all, but people shamelessly lowering the reputation of hardworking and responsible Turks.
Sarabi is the worst service of the entire tourism business, such companies spoil the impression of both beautiful Turkey and foreign holidays for beginners.
I really hope that everyone who was with us on this terrible tour will also write their unflattering reviews and Sarabi will be closed as soon as possible.
The tour is interesting, I flew with my family in the spring, now I'm going to Istanbul with Sarabi travel. I can't say anything bad about the trip, the guides were very helpful with communication, for which I thank you very much. Very beautiful places, really worth the investment.
