The hotel is large, well located - within walking distance from the Old Town (approx. 10 minutes on foot). There are grocery stores nearby, and there is ready-made takeaway food. The Internet is working (once I was absent all evening due to a breakdown). The staff is polite, but not everyone speaks Russian. The room for two turned out to be too small and awkwardly located, there was only room for one bedside table and one chair (and there were two of us ...). The refrigerator did not work (brought another one), the TV system did not work (replaced), the air conditioning system did not cool, the toilet almost did not flush (spit, resigned, adjusted). Despite the daily inclusion of a banner about the need for cleaning, they began to clean only on the 5th day (it turned out they had to leave a key at the reception, which is only 1m away! Ex.). Water, shampoos, and tea were brought only after a reminder. Breakfast is included, but.... to put it mildly, it could have been tastier and more diverse, besides, everything ended quickly. We can continue, but let's stop.
All this cost more than 10 tr. per day for our money.
In general, on the 1st day, the guide informed that Baku is an expensive city. And he was absolutely right!
But we must pay tribute - Baku is very beautiful, clean and well-groomed, which more than covered all the negative aspects.
The location of the hotel is 6 out of 5.
7 minutes to the metro, 8 to the old town, 15 to the embankment, 10 to fountain Square. From the hotel to the beaches (Mardakan, beyond the airport) 40 minutes and 12-15 manats.
There are a lot of shops around the hotel: BRAVO 2 pieces and spar 1 piece.
The staff of the hotel is adequate, many speak or understand Russian.
Breakfast.. leaves much to be desired in terms of choice. Everything is fresh and delicious, but there is little choice. But they can cook something at your request, an omelet for sure, my imagination was not enough for more.
The rooms themselves, although old, are generally not shabby, there is a shower in the bathroom, in single and executive. I couldn't manage the cleaning schedule. The first week was cleaned every day, then every other time..
I haven't been to other hotels in Baku, I can't compare them. Next time, I would quite stop right there, if the price allows.
Excellent hotel: excellent location, 7 minutes walk to the Old Town, historic building of the early 20th century. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. Kettle, tea, coffee in the rooms, bottles of water every day. Excellent sound insulation- quiet, the neighbors did not interfere with sleeping. Varied and delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff.
An excellent hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. We were there for 10 days. Very close to all the main attractions. The guys are great, they respond quickly to every request. They asked for a microwave, and they brought it right away. The coffee machine broke down and was replaced with another one. The room has everything you need-bathrobes, slippers, cosmetics. A birthday present was made in the form of a cake and fruits, even wishes were written! They helped me call a taxi to the airport. I recommend the hotel.
We stayed at the hotel in early March 2024, conveniently located, within walking distance of the Old Town, the embankment and other attractions. The rooms have everything you need except bathrobes.
The main advantage is the location, the city center, everything is within walking distance. Polite, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. The hotel is old, in need of repair. Obvious savings on staff, do not always have time with cleaning, replenishment of bath accessories and drinking water in the room that is, then not. Washed towels, frayed bathrobes. Breakfast is a buffet, modest, but fried eggs, scrambled eggs, etc. are prepared on request. If you come to the end, then you need to ask if they are replenishing. Russian cards are not accepted, which is standard now. There is no currency exchange in the hotel itself.
Everything was fine, they accept Russian cards through transfers.
There is one drawback, there are a lot of Indians, they, due to their characteristic features, behave very noisily, yell at night, go to a restaurant in outerwear. The hotel staff does not respond to this. In general, prepare yourself mentally)))
4 stars only for the fact that when staying in a room for 3 people, everything was for two. They called every day to bring all the items for the third
A good hotel, clean, the breakfasts are also good, there is a choice. Traditional buffet. Pretty tasty. The room is clean and cleaned every day. Very good location from the old town 10 minutes walk. And there are two markers nearby where everything can be bought. The staff is friendly. We can go there again.
This is a good hotel! We have stayed here several times already. I really like its location. Everything is nearby! I really like the staff, wonderful people work here. Thank you for your hospitality!!! I really like Baku and its residents.
If you are looking for this hotel, just look at my photos and forget it like a bad dream. The first 2 photos are from the hotel's website, the rest are as they really are. Clarification- the superior room (deluxe) is in the photo. Dear owner, aren't you ashamed to take money for this?
At first, the room smelled of cigarette smoke , we were overpowered , the toilet did not work in the new room , it was repaired 3 times , after it was not cleaned , I had to remind you about it , the watering can flowed in the shower , but it was changed , there were 2 young men at the reception, curly was bad, tall was good, the manager responded well , breakfasts were below average .there is a payment for the kura code with a Russian card. I added one star for the manager and payment.

The location is great. The old town is nearby. A metro station with the same name is within walking distance. The hotel staff is helpful and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious.
A hotel in the city center is both good and bad. What I will not describe well is already clear. And what is bad is high audibility from the street, loud music, screams, etc. this should be taken into account . A good breakfast, you can find something to eat, the menu is varied. What I didn't like at all were the towels. They are old, worn out, there is no trace of terry. There are no complaints about bed linen, cleaning was carried out regularly
+ location, friendly staff
- very tired rooms, everything was broken
The breakfasts are tasteless, everything is ripe, nothing national. The price/quality does not match at all.
In January 2024, I was staying at this hotel. Breakfast is a buffet. Scrambled eggs or omelet should be ordered from the waiter. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable. I was comfortable

I am happy with both the location of the hotel and the staff! They are very friendly.
The rooms are clean. I recommend this hotel.
I do not recommend it! The hotel is dead. We took an improved room, in the photo one is in reality a terrible other, asked at the reception how so, the photo is a mistake. Very dark room. The carpet in the room is dirty, the plumbing is all broken... washing your hands means being wet. Terrible pillows, asked to replace brought 6 pieces, all terrible ... towels are not the first freshness, gray, but the mattress is super!
There was no view of the garden, as stated, there was a view of the packing. The breakfasts are not bad, but from 7 am to 9 everything was already cherished, and sour cream and cottage cheese ... sluggish cucumbers
A man burst in without knocking, wanted to return clothes from the dry cleaners, we were shocked.
The staff is very friendly and polite, any problem was solved immediately. The only thing that is positive.
I can also note the location is excellent.
The room is shabby, the water in the sink does not drain, the room is not equipped. Three stars for the location in the center.
If it's five stars, then what's going on at the hotel owner's house?
