We were at the hotel in February. I really liked it! The rooms are clean and large. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, the shower cabin is large, there is a shelf. Shampoo, mouthwash, shower gel, everything is there and everything is of excellent quality!!! We could have made more hooks for clothes, he was there alone, but we had a wardrobe nearby and could do with one). The breakfasts are varied and delicious, you can always find what you like. The beach at this hotel is the best, there are many sun beds. In addition, there are several pools on the territory, although all are small, but there are comfortable sun beds around and there are always places. The sea is very clean, the bottom is sandy. In general, we are satisfied and we will be happy to return there. I recommend it!

There is a fenced bathing area in the sea - it seems small, but there are not many bathers and there is enough of it. What you need to be prepared for: there is little alcohol in euros, there is no choice. There are sooo many local tourists on weekends and holidays, nice but noisy.

Convenient location. It takes 30-35 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel, the taxi cost is 115-140 CNY (DIDI). The territory is large, I liked the beach and the sea. The room is super. There are many inexpensive restaurants near the hotel. It happened that alcohol and drinks were taken from the market and freely drunk in the restaurant. In restaurants, the average check is 100-150 CNY per person. The restaurant on site is delicious, cheap, but more expensive than 2 times. Overall, we were delighted.

The pool bar is always closed, to buy water, you have to go up to the store on the 3rd floor. There are catastrophically not enough sunbeds!!! Neither on the beach, nor by the pool. People have to spread out towels and look for places on the grass, under palm trees or just on the sand. There is no animation. And you need to be prepared for the fact that the staff practically does not speak English.... Even at the reception. We were disappointed with the rest 👎

Rooms: everything is very cool. fresh renovation, clean, cleaning every day. there is a hairdryer, ordinary and rubber slippers, bathrobes, an ironing board, an iron, shower accessories and other small things. It is important to take adapters for Chinese sockets or USB 2.0 wires from the adapter side. You can play with the light too. to turn on the light bulbs in the ceiling above the sink and the round mirror, there is a button on the mirror and a bright button. :)
pool and beach: both have cool water, and there is a Jacuzzi with warm water. the maximum depth in the pool is 1.20... the bassiks have enough sun beds. the beach is municipal, there are many vendors and few sun beds. dear compatriots, they borrow in the morning and sometimes they don't come, it's not clear why :)

Nice well-maintained hotel on the first line with the best beach in Yalong Bay! Excellent breakfasts and decent rooms! Near the exit of the hotel there is a food square and a large supermarket! Nice hotel on YalongBay. We chose from the available ones from Russia, watched a lot of videos, we were not mistaken with the choice.
The renovation was recent, the hotel is clean and comfortable. If you choose from the nearby Ritz, Hilton and Sheraton, then definitely take the Marriott. The rest are either presented or pretentious and not worth the money they want for them.
The breakfasts are excellent, there is a large selection, I didn't get tired of it in a week.
The sea view room is quiet, the beds are excellent. If you take it to the parking lot, then there are possible options and noisy ones, but if you only sleep there, then it's normal.
Entry into the sea is normal, swimming is allowed only in fences, the sea is moderately clean.
There are enough sun beds both by the pool and near the sea. The pools are 1.2m deep, the Chinese do not know how to swim in most, so this is the depth.
Since the hotel is 5*, the prices for food and alcohol are not small, but there is a local market and a food court nearby, it is 2 times cheaper there.
The service is not European, you should not expect more, so that there will be no disappointment later, everything is tailored to the Chinese. At the reception and not only NO ONE speaks even English, let alone Russian. You need to go savvy, have the Internet and a translator in your smartphone, otherwise there will be difficulties.
Take the cards with you or UnionPay or cash Yuan, or VISA, MasterCard, otherwise there is no way. It is difficult to change dollars and euros, only in a bank and the exchange rate is bad.
Taxis are not expensive, but it is better to connect the AliPay service and use DiDi in it, it is 1.5-2 times cheaper.
There is a small Outlet nearby, but you need to keep in mind that there are a lot of high-quality fakes.
For massages and treatments, it is easier to get to Dadonghai, 25 minutes, there is a lot of choice.
It is also better to go to Pineapple in Dadonghai to shop for local producers.
It should also be borne in mind that the Chinese are very arrogant, and in our opinion uncultured, it should not be surprising that your occupied lounger may be occupied in your absence and your things are shifted or simply thrown off, but I do not recommend conflict, this is the norm for them, as they say, "I got up, I lost my place."
In terms of food, you also need to understand that food in Chinese restaurants in Russia and here is completely different, it is very difficult to find something similar.

If you leave the hotel, there is a supermarket and a small neighborhood with eateries immediately to the right. If you walk to the right for 10-15 minutes, there is already a large block with restaurants and shops. Taxis are inexpensive, we went to Sanya often. They take cash everywhere and give you change. Great hotel! The rooms are large, about 45 squares, a chic bathroom and shower, a comfortable bed, linen, pillows are gorgeous, it's a pleasure to sleep. The room has everything you need: a kettle, a blackboard, an iron, cosmetics, a stove, tea, coffee, water. Cleaning every day. Wi-Fi is normal.
Breakfast is good: there is meat and pancakes, cheese, porridge, sliced noodles, yoghurts, Chinese food, fruits (it is better to eat before 8.30 am because then there are a lot of people).
The guests are 95% Chinese and 5% people from Russia. In hotels, all inscriptions are duplicated in Russian, there are 2 expensive restaurants, a spa, etc. the beach is gorgeous, the sea is a miracle, there are very few people on the beach, the pool is good, the depth is 1.2 m, everything is sharpened for children.
The deposit for the week was 200 bucks, they wanted to take 8000 yuan, but I said that I was not interested in spa and other entertainment. There is a food court and a shop next to the hotel.

Marriott is not the one. This is not the first time we have been staying at this hotel. Before the pandemic, we chose this hotel twice. We liked it. They chose it this time, but they regretted it. The territory is beautiful, there are no complaints, everything remains at the same top level. But the service has become worse at times. There are queues at breakfast, they cannot seat all the guests. The waiters work sluggishly, you have to clean the plates from the table yourself, the tables in the restaurant, like in a cheap cafe, are not smooth, small, you will not find cutlery.
There is Wi-Fi in the rooms, but not on the beach.
The sea is very dirty, packages, labels, etc. You swim and clean up the garbage from yourself. And no one is trying to change this situation. We gave our things to the laundry, the problem was to pick them up, for some reason we did not understand. Then the clothes were brought, but it was necessary to pay immediately, before everything was deducted from the deposit.

Beautiful vegetation and well-maintained territory.
Rooms
Most of the rooms are smoky to such an extent that a non-smoker will not be able to sleep.. At the same time, they clean very well and do not take tips.
Restaurants
The service in the restaurant is completely absent, although for them, this is the norm for 5+. Nothing is removed from the table until the guests are sitting at the table. And no matter how many dishes have already accumulated and what your child has spilled on the table or next to it. Food is not for our taste habits and stomachs. We left hungry.
Swimming pool
Old and not very clean. Towels on the beach and by the pool are very nice, clean, wide.
Sea
Clean and transparent. Considering that the Chinese do not swim at all, since they do not know how to swim, the red flag is constantly raised and it is forbidden to swim on the waves.
At the reception, 30% of the English language is known at most.
No sooner had they stopped by, a Chinese man immediately calls on his personal phone and offers medical services and assistance outside the hotel. The room was immediately sold.
Booking
The reservation was made via Booking.com with payment on the spot. We paid for the room with a card upon arrival, and left a deposit in cash. As a result, 11 days later, when they left at night, it turned out that the money had not been credited to their account, but was frozen. We were presented with a new bill. We refused to pay. We spent 1.5 hours clarifying and arguing without their English language, through a translator. It turned out that the reception staff did not make the payment properly. When the reason was found out, the money was credited in a second.
