Only positive feedback .
I am a citizen of Uzbekistan and my wife and I liked everything, starting with booking a room, crossing the Uzbek-Tajik border on Oybek.
No matter what you say about the reverse crossing, the tourists from Central Asia have a positive attitude towards us.
Check-in to the room .
In a word, at 4.30 cheers I left Tashkent (Kuylyuk) and at 9.00 I was already resting in the sanatorium Bakhoriston in my room.
A visit to the museum in Khujand, where even for two visitors they give a guide who tells the story of his city so interestingly.
And the reservoir itself, it's super. In the morning, swim and sit in the water on a chair by the shore. It's super
And I was driving my car .
"The national shame of Tajikistan, sanatorium Bakhoriston!
We took a 2-bed room from 13.07 to 16.07 inclusive, check-out until 10-00 on 17.07.
The price of this "pleasure" for two is 2080somoni, the exchange rate for this date is 8.24rubles
Bahoriston……
How beautiful it all sounds, but what is actually meant.
The terrible state of everything on its territory. A complete picture of what repairs and maintenance were last done in 2000.
1 hour is allocated for a meal....what?!!
There is a queue in the dining room, it feels like they feel sorry for the food and many will either not have time, or they will forget and will not go. The chairs are dirty and greasy, crumbs are everywhere, the dishes are not well washed, you take the dressing and it's greasy, the forks are dirty, you also have to wipe them with napkins and it doesn't help.
They went now to have to be treated, the third day they left. My stomach hurts, I'm on pills.
When buying a ticket here, it was indicated "buffet", I think everyone understands this phrase. But when I asked the chef at the distribution to put me what I want (namely potatoes, a piece of chicken and a meat roast), he said "either this or that", I asked, "buffet"? He looked at me uncomprehendingly and "greedily" put 3 pieces of meat. Well, because I wasn't going to go all over the country of Tajikistan, I just wanted to try....
Well, anyway, be ready to "warm the food in your stomach", because the second course is constantly cold. Apparently, there is a problem with the stove, as well as with the dishwasher. After eating in this dining room, we started having digestive problems. A coincidence?? I don't think they ate anywhere except in the dining room.
The rooms are just a "branded" horror. The wallpaper is dirty, it comes off, it's smeared with snot, the bed is broken, you sleep obliquely, the springs from the mattress rest against you in all places (this is a "branded" massage). When you go into the shower, you think that it's dirtier here than I am, after long walks at +35. Mold, everything is covered in snot, everything is broken. There is no hair dryer, although even the cheapest hotels have a hair dryer.
You go out for a walk, it's also full of horror, the coniferous trees are dried, no one is watering, the fountains are dry and broken.
We come to the "beach", it's not bad here, but it's not ideal either. There is a lot of garbage lying around or "stuck" in the corners.
Against the background of all the places where we were in Tajikistan, against the background of beautiful houses with fantastic architecture, against the background of all the fountains that worked and it was almost perfectly clean everywhere.
Bahoriston is Tajikistan's "Signature Horror".
If you suddenly gather here (which I do not advise you to do), then I do not recommend checking in on Friday, because locals come on Friday. And from Friday to Sunday (before 10:00 departure) there are wild queues in the dining room, there are a lot of people everywhere, wherever you go. And there are no procedures on Saturday and Sunday.
We continue to be surprised.
Monday.....
We came to the doctor's office, room 206.
We go into building number 3, on the second floor. There are a lot of people everywhere (it's impossible to convey the fullness of feelings from the photo), they stood waiting for the reception for two hours, even the locals have already begun to resent it. The Doctor could get up and leave indefinitely. (I would also get up and go to the meditation room or lie on needles)But he has the least questions, you can see by the look how tired he is. Someone is constantly coming up to him, breaking down, asking something.
Guys, who is coming from other countries here for treatment, and do you need it? You can stand in queues and shake your nerves at home.
In general, if you want to shake your nerves abroad, then this is an ideal option. And the juice itself.... Women hide behind children and brazenly break into the office, saying that we have 3 children. And the fact that the others have been standing for almost two hours does not bother them. This is the Tajik version of "I'm a mother"
Hurray! We went to the doctors' offices.
It is not worth focusing heavily on the appointed time. It's better to go into the office and find out. If you are free, then you will definitely be accepted, if you are busy, then expect. The time of the appointment of the procedure does not matter here.
But even here it was not without a big minus, when you lie down on the couch, there is a disposable diaper on it, so no one changed it after receiving patients. Are you kidding me??
I almost forgot....
If you have a job or business connected with the Internet, then wi-fi is just a name. My modem worked better in the 2000s
In general, the result is that regarding specifically the Bahoriston sanatorium itself (personally, my opinion and my wife's)
- The food is poor , completely unsanitary
Medical services are poor (sanitary standards are not observed)
The condition of the buildings and rooms is terrible
The condition of the sanatorium is terrible
, there are a lot of little things, it's dirty, it's broken off, it's a mess. It is as if there are no maintenance personnel on the territory of the complex. There are fountains, but they do not work, coniferous trees are dried to death. In general, complete ruin and mess. It feels like there is no "master" here and all the local leaders are doing what they want in this place.
If there was an opportunity to return the money, without losses (or with minimal losses), then we would do it without hesitation. When I clarified with the manager what was going on here and asked for a refund, I was refused and told to sue.
This place is not even up to grade 1.
The paradox is that upon arrival here, when they began to eat here in the dining room, the microflora of the stomach worsened, the stomach constantly "twists". And after a few days of living, severe fatigue appeared and in general the condition became worse. Although we came here from Dushanbe, where we walked a lot every day in 40 degree heat.
And all this is no longer surprising, because there is actually not even a quiet horror, but a loud nightmare....
Don't get fooled by a site that barely works. There the photos of the rooms are very beautiful and in general the photos of the entire territory of the sanatorium are beautifully made (these are photos taken after repairs, which was probably 20 years ago)
Now we have personally seen the development plan for 2016..... 8 years into the abyss.

Do you control everything that happens here?
I think not, since you are not at your workplace, but I really wanted to know why you ruined everything.
We were in the sanatorium from 20.09. To 07.10.2023. I will not describe the territory and rooms, everything is well described in the previous review. The main advantages: a large beautiful territory, good treatment, excellent attitude of the staff. BUT, everything crosses out the food in the sanatorium. We enjoyed our rest for three days, and then intestinal poisoning came, which did not stop during the entire two weeks of our stay. Moreover, all vacationers from Russia and the Tajiks themselves, with whom we communicated, had it. And this, apparently, was no exception, because the doctor immediately prescribed droppers and medications that did not help, it was clear that this was the norm for them. If the leadership does not take action, then vacationers from Russia are unlikely to go there. The food is disgusting, everything is greasy, there are practically no vegetables. And more about the numbers. Is it really so expensive to put a kettle in each room, and not run to a common tank with boiled water, it is unknown how washed. Tulle is really just all in holes on the windows. I won't come here again, even though the treatment is good.
