Among the advantages - it was profitable to pay with a Russian card for booking a room on the "island" and changing towels in the room daily. There is a manager at the reception, a man who knows Russian well. There is a car park at the hotel.
There were more disadvantages in terms of the importance of rest for us:
1) the hotel on the mountain, it takes 20 minutes to walk from the center of Kalkan, we named among ourselves that we have some kind of "fitness hotel" on this vacation 😂
2) breakfast is monotonous, tired on the third day. Surprisingly, the fact is that scrambled eggs are only scrambled, there are boiled eggs. Any variety for money. Even the water. There is no water cooler for residents, only for staff.
3) we got a room in a building where there was periodically no hot water. It's a disaster, of course, to wash with cold water.
4) on the second day, the room began to smell strongly of sewage, the decision from the reception was to fix replaceable soap balls in the toilet bowl, and put some things in the sink that interrupt the smell. In general, it has gotten better, but it seems that globally it is just necessary to clean or replace pipes and air duct.
5) WiFi is only at the reception and by the pool, it couldn't reach our building. We connected the mobile Internet in roaming.
6) when we handed over the room keys at the time of check-out, we were presented with an invoice for almost 3,000 lira (9,000 rubles) for drinks in the bar and mini-bar of the room, although we did not use anything, we became indignant, asked to check the camera recordings from the bar, at that we were asked if we had not drunk and let go. That is, we conclude that in a bar, drinks are recorded to a number that you say, without checking.
The hotel has a swimming pool, not used. The contingent is mostly British.
As a result, we only spent the night at the hotel. We have been going to Kash every day for the last 4 days. We liked it there more than in Kalkan.
PS a couple of days before leaving the hotel, bites were found on the body, although there were no mosquitoes in the room, and only at the airport came to the idea that these were bedbugs ... they began to Google, read that they bite with a strip, leaving traces ... it's a pity that they did not think of it at the hotel and did not check the mattress and the bed under the mattress. Well, it's just a nightmare, not a hotel.
The apartments in this hotel left a very pleasant impression. Friendly staff, clean area, convenient location. The room was small but cozy. Kitchen with dishes, refrigerator, TV, dining table, 2 beds and a great view from the balcony!! Of the advantages, I will also highlight the pool: clean, large, deep with a separate children's area. In the evening, tables are set up, a bar is open. Since the hotel is located on a mountain, the view is simply fantastic. But at the same time, 100 meters away there is a bridge over which it is convenient to cross the highway and immediately find yourself in the city. Plus, there is a bus station opposite the hotel, from where you can easily get to one of the most beautiful beaches-Kaputash (20 minutes), the city of Kash (50 minutes) and anywhere along the main highway running along the coast. For its category, a decent option.
On a solid 3 👍🏻 We had apartments with everything we needed. We were greeted with a glass of juice with ice, cleanly. Toilet paper and all hygiene supplies are replenished daily and cleaned as well. Cons - one air conditioner only in the bedroom, the living room is hot. Huge cracks under the balcony door. There's bird droppings on the balcony, it's dirty. The lock on the front door broke in the room after lunch, it was replaced only the next day. But they offered to spend the night in another room. We didn't leave or move things. The door was closed and normal)
The advantages are the pool, towels are provided. The pool is spacious and with a normal depth for children. The shower and toilet by the pool are clean and spacious. Gorgeous sea view. The hotel itself is on a hill. Go up from the city and across the road on a pedestrian bridge. There is a mini-shop in 2 minutes, to buy some water, because water was given out only on the day of arrival. Nearby, in 10 minutes, there are two huge shops Migros and SOK, there is also a bus station. In general, we were satisfied.
