There used to be the best restaurant in Vitebsk. Excellent service and most importantly, the chef prepared great dishes. But either the boss was replaced, or he had the day off yesterday. We ordered 2 different caesars with shrimp and chicken. And 2 pasta with salmon and carbonara. And both were terrible. Previously, they used to cook almost perfect pasta, they couldn't do it anywhere else, but now it's just ordinary dry pasta in a huge amount of sunflower oil. The chef who cooked in salsa before wouldn't have done such a terrible thing. He was the only one who kept this place going. I hope we just ended up with another chef. Plus a star for the waiters, they always try.

We looked in the morning (around 11), it is located on a pedestrian street, parking nearby may cause problems. It's nice and cozy inside. The menu is quite diverse. The staff is friendly and efficient. The only thing is that the restroom was pumped up, there were no paper towels, the dryer was on three (never a Dyson).

Being guests of Vitebsk, we decided to have a snack at SALSA. We chose an institution based on reviews. The establishment is located on a pedestrian street in the tourist area of the city. Quite a cozy atmosphere, pleasant waiters and decent cuisine. In the photo: poke, potato waffles with salmon, tom yam and an alcoholic cocktail (tequila with strawberries, I forgot the name). Great food, everything in your mouth is married :), sauces harmoniously complement, and do not interrupt the taste. The staff and the cook were responsive to the wishes: they specially made broken cucumbers as part of the main course (thanks for that!), the waitress answered questions about the composition of the dishes in detail. A wide selection of wines and cocktails. I was especially pleased with the line of Lida beer.

When we want to have a delicious meal with my husband, we always go to Salsa. The most delicious tom yam in Vitebsk, thick, rich, served with rice and a slice of lime. Very tasty tortilla from the oven with strachatella, avocado and tomatoes. Sea buckthorn broth is fragrant, with sourness. The service is courteous, the dishes arrive quickly. The interior is beautiful, and people often come there to work over a cup of coffee.

We were passing through Vitebsk, we stopped for breakfast. We chose an institution simply - within walking distance, good reviews, a reasonable price tag. No, there was a dumpling shop with good reviews nearby, but I wanted something less mundane.
So. A nice interior, an old building with all the construction jambs and alterations, but with an atmosphere. A laundered toilet. No hot water, but clean. Comfortable furniture.
The cappuccino arrived in two minutes, and it was not bad. Breakfast is in four. Delicious, which is important. In general, the speed of service pleased the waiters respect. Of the minor quibbles, I had to ask for salt and pepper.
I liked the place.

Favorite place in the city. Very tasty, comfortable furniture, pleasant interior and music, as well as friendly staff. And it is also the only place with a separate vegan menu in the city, where there is a whole list of different positions. Another significant advantage for me is that bottled water is always served outside the order.

Brilliant cuisine in Vitebsk!

Suddenly.
Original menu, high-quality dishes, perfectly cooked seafood, focaccia... Soups are also delicious and plentiful.
Two tiers of tables (good both at the bottom and at the top - in different ways), elegant minimalistic interior, no smoking, pleasant lounge music..
Disadvantages:
Disinterested service in the hall,
Faulty toilets (no smell),
Pedestrian zone (parking should be a long way or by taxi).
I definitely recommend it!
We enjoyed it, regardless of the disadvantages - I dropped only one point for seemingly significant flaws. But the kitchen "took out"!
Bravo to the chefs of the kitchen!
The rest of the fixable stuff would still be worth fixing.

Great restaurant. The interior, the service, the food - everything is on top. If you are in Vitebsk, be sure to come here. I recommend their breakfasts on my own, they are up to and including 15:00. There is a cozy summer veranda right on the walking street of the city. Water goes to the menu for free (pictured).

We stayed in Vitebsk for two days, and on the very first day we found this restaurant based on reviews. Fully justifies its rating. I didn't get to fully familiarize myself with all the dishes, but what I took was beyond praise. Special thanks for the vegan section of the menu. It is only necessary to specify the composition, there may be milk. But the dishes are balanced in terms of fat, vegan ones contain different proteins in the form of seeds and nuts to diversify the amino acid composition. It can be seen that the preparation of the menu was approached very competently. Many thanks to the chef from my vegan heart. I would also like to mention the quality of the products, the vegetables and herbs are fresh and delicious. The service is also excellent, the waiters tell you in detail the composition, ask about the serving, are interested in the opinion of the dishes, work with their hearts. The atmosphere is cozy. There is water and antiseptic on the tables. We decided for ourselves that we would definitely return to them when visiting Vitebsk.

A very cozy, intimate place with the cuisine of the peoples of the world. Polite, friendly staff. The menu is for every taste, not cheap, but the portions are just huge! The first and the salad - the average person does not eat anything else. But, not me!I also got a burger from my son! I was struck by the taste of homemade ice cream, not sickly sweet, but the very top, with Arabica! Thank you for a wonderful family dinner, we celebrated the Old New Year here, we will come again!

A very pleasant, quiet, peaceful place. Clean, cozy, comfortable.
The staff is polite, friendly and quite sincerely smiling, professional.
The waiting time is not long, everything is very tasty, the portions are huge, the beer is delicious (but honestly expensive).
The toilet is neat.
I liked. There are many advantages and they are diverse. The only minus is that the price of beer: any beer is 12 rubles for 0.5. Even the Belarusian "aksamitnae", even the Czech "goat".

The service is 3.5/4, unfortunately not all waiters are trained, some do not know the menu well and cannot even navigate it. The menu itself also raised questions, why any additional pieces of paper, if basically everything is there too. Drinks were served prematurely and immediately, and then the fiasco… They brought me a salad, but my friend didn't. Moreover, the story was repeated three times with the guy, only I already watched him eat. It's the same with the hot dish. It is very inconvenient, especially if you have lunch, someone has eaten and is waiting for the second one to eat. Naturally, the ballet dish takes longer to prepare, we were not warned or asked how we should serve it if one dish is delayed.
The food itself is tasteless, just eat and that's it. For that kind of money, they could at least make more interesting dressings in a salad.

This is by far the most atmospheric and cozy establishment in Vitebsk! I like absolutely everything: the atmosphere and the service. I wasn't lucky enough to visit this place the other day. Instead of the normal menu, we were given crumpled foxes scraped with a clothespin. The menu itself had only names and prices without a description of what the dish consists of. There is no salt or pepper on the tables, as a result, I had to choke on the unsalted dish. Cocktails obviously skimp on alcohol, so there were doubts that it was in it.One star only for the waitress who did her job with a straight face and a smile. I don't understand how this institution has a 5.0 rating in my life, I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.

A wonderful place! The team, the food, the atmosphere - absolutely everything is perfect! The portions are large and super satisfying, the staff is great at communicating and orienting the assortment. Having visited other establishments, Salsa is the only one we went to again and again, after unsuccessful experiences in others. Highly recommended!

We went in the fourth on a weekday at about 16.00, there were quite a few people, but not a full house either. The waiter is a nice girl, sat us down at a table, studied the menu. We are making an order. "I need a croissant with ..."-"unfortunately the croissants are over", "milkshake"-"unfortunately the ice cream is over". A couple more dishes were also refused. I had to choose other dishes from those that were available. Everything was more or less delicious.
The sediment remained unpleasant, the prices are not affordable, and for them there is also no 30% menu.

I was at a restaurant with a friend on 12.01.2023. I liked the service, the waitress was very polite and nice. I ordered paddy with shrimp. It's very tasty, the portion is large, the shrimps are super, that's what price = quality means. It's a cozy place, but the stairs seemed too steep. But everything else is great, I will definitely recommend this institution to my friends.

But the prices and dishes are not for a snack. I understand alcohol 0.5 - 9rub. And it's just our native, pizza 21rub._ 300 gr. And the filling is nothing at all, the dough is cheese seasonings, this is the cheapest, but I took pasta, this is something, 30 rubles. for pasta and some sea sweets, 5 mussels and 4-5 shrimp no more, and there was no taste in this pasta, just like at home, I took pasta and cooked, but for such a price!!! Pleasant atmosphere, good service, beautiful presentation, BUT! They do not monitor the quality of products. I have been there several times, after visiting constant stomach problems. The last time we went with my wife on 23.02 we took 2 ramen - the chicken meat was frankly sour! The dish was brought very quickly-it is clear that the freezer was warmed up. As a result, 2 food poisoning. This is just an outrage! We won't come any more, hello to the cook - I saved money, all the other efforts are in vain. You can't buy fresh chicken in Vitebsk - it's just ridiculous.

Time 21:30 we were told the kitchen was closed, order only street food ( for this we did not need to look for a restaurant with a 5.0 rating, but that's not the point)
Then we ordered quesadillas and burritos
The burrito was asked to be divided into 2 ladles to try together . The waitress nodded her head sweetly and said yes of course!
He brings the whole Burrito order and says the chefs refused to share ! To which I ask - What is the reason? They said no and that's it) They didn 't want to !
Okay... I think I'll split it myself!
It was just cold, as if it had been made yesterday and poorly warmed up !
And tourists have nothing to do here without WiFi) He's just not in the restaurant!
And the cherry on the cake is a dirty toilet !!!

I am from St. Petersburg and there are a large number of similar establishments there, I was looking for the same in Minsk (I moved there), I did not find it, and what was my surprise to find a decent cuisine in Vitebsk
Gorgeous tom yam (sharpness is right, full of flavor), spicy ramen (the most delicate and cooked noodles are right), fabulous breakfasts (potato Belgian waffle and brioche with bacon) - huge portions
