We visited the restaurant twice a year apart. Everything is still at a high level. The cuisine is very tasty, national dishes to choose from. The interior is modern with national elements, you can even try on a Kazakh national robe and hat;)) there are dishes on the grill, pilaf. We really liked everything. The price tag is closer to the average Moscow.

We had dinner here twice in two days: on the first day we just wanted to try it and planned to go to another place on the second day, but we liked it so much that on the second day we returned to Saxaul.

Отменный ресторан: очень внимательное обслуживание, чистота, а главное, конечно же, кухня. Порции большие, еда вкусная, свежая. Я был приятно удивлён. Пришёл по рекомендации горожанина и не ошибся.
Меня обслуживал официант Бейбарс - профессионал и просто душевный человек. Рассказал мне про каждое блюдо так, что сразу захотелось попробовать. Рад знакомству и с официантом, и в рестораном.
Рекомендую мороженое из кумыса: необычное, но очень вкусное, с кислинкой, много орехов. Ресторан его готовит сам.
Кто на диете: порции огромные!

Очень вкусное место
Опробовал шурпу из баранины. Мне рассказали, что готовят ее на бульоне из баранины с кусочками мяса из говядины. Наваристый, насыщенный, со специями бульон.
Если сравнить с моим предыдущим отзывом о Сочи, то Астана выигрывает с огромным преимуществом.
К шурпе подают национальные пирожочки - баурсак … это пончики из СССР, только не с сахарной пудрой, а со сметаной! Yummy yummy
Попробовал салат из бараньих язычков - нежный и питательный.
Дальше мне принесли блюдо из конины - урама кабоб из конины. Я бы сравнил это с вогю по-казахстански. Если будете здесь, берите однозначно. Очень советую.
Запить все можно пивом Line brew, умеют варить.
Место для посещения в Астане, однозначно, достойное!

Ресторан посещали семьей несколько раз.
Персонал гостеприимный и вежливый.
Интерьер приятный, все выполнено со вкусом.
Есть столики на веранде и внутри.
Мясные блюда понравились всем.
Отдельно уважение за баурсаки с чаем с молоком.
Порции большие. Ждали не долго.
Заказывали десерты, вкусно.

I came to Astana for a few days for work. This place was recommended to me by absolutely everyone ... starting from the hotel staff, ending with the locals..!
So after visiting this wonderful place, a place where you can have a delicious, cool, satisfying and healthy meal, I recommend it to absolutely everyone ..!
I was in Astana for 3 nights, and I was in this restaurant all 3 evenings. Excellent pilaf, excellent service, polite and courteous staff!
We have not found any other alternative! Saxaul – definitely recommend it!

Dumplings are also bigger than broth in a plate, and the dumplings are very small))) and most importantly: they charge 10% for the service, in other restaurants it is purely voluntary payment. The rating is 100% deserved, and now it will be replenished with another 5-star review! The dishes are very tasty, the portions are considerable, the meat is cooked wonderfully! We tried shish kebab, dimly, hearty and very, very tasty! Delicious pomegranate /rosehip tea when you want something with notes of berries, but not sweet.
