A magnificent park in the center of Kyoto around the former imperial palace. It is very large, but cozy and beautiful. But the wide paths are paved with gravel and you walk along them hr-hr-hr, it's hard to ride a bike. Very beautiful sakura. The garden directly in the courtyard of the palace is magnificent. Entrance to the park and the palace is free.

The park is just beautiful. Only the Japanese feel nature so subtly and poetically. Very beautiful. We were thrilled.
