Kirstenbosch is a botanical garden in the suburbs of Cape Town, a harmonious balance of well-groomed and naturalness. A huge territory, more than 7,000 plant species - mostly rare endemics of South Africa. There are palm-like cycads that existed back in the age of dinosaurs. They are clearly visible from a suspension bridge almost half a kilometer long.
You can get there by taxi or a red tour bus. There are several trails leading directly from the garden, along which it is convenient to climb Table Mountain. Or you can have a picnic with a view of Cape Town or get to know the nearby wineries of the Constance region. There is a great gift shop and cafe.
A very large botanical garden, many varieties of trees, flowers and different plants, you can meet local inhabitants, if you want to relax in a beautiful corner of nature, I recommend going, besides, you can walk from the garden along the trail to Table Mountain, if you like active recreation
