I was there a couple of days ago :) 02/25/2023 before that, it was in 1997/98. A lot of things have changed, there are more goods from Kyrgyzstan. Less Chinese. An indoor huge bazaar, the largest in Central Asia. Prices are two three / five times cheaper than in Russia, including marketplaces, I recommend visiting.
