You can't leave this place without souvenirs and hungry. The richest selection of souvenirs and at the same time at an affordable price (we have not yet met lower in Georgia). An amazing little cafe with the most delicious khachapuri boat is also located in this place. An excellent and varied selection of fruits and vegetables, as well as all sorts of things for tourists to use (from suitcases to beach towels). All the sellers are very friendly and positive, which I also really liked.

By the way, the wine and chacha that they sell there is not worth buying, then there is still swill. Wine should be taken only in bottles in stores or homemade only from friends. I took off one star for the fact that there is zero in terms of cleanliness and order. However, this is the norm for Georgians, as I understand it. But this disadvantage is covered by the generosity and hospitality of this people.

There is a large stall with wine (it is better not to buy wine without tasting). But I do not recommend buying fruits. But it is better to buy seasonings by weight, rather than packaged. It turns out to be much cheaper this way. For example, 1 kg of suneli costs 7 lari, and in packages of 1-1.5 lari 50 gr.

If you want to see a real simple market, and not the fashionable name of the Market, you are here. It has the same atmosphere as 50-100 years ago, only the counters are being modernized. Although, in my opinion, everything here is at least from the time of the USSR. The smells are fascinating, as well as the variety and layout of the goods. Be sure to eat khachapuri to the right of the main entrance to the covered pavilion, which is prepared at home with real ones. The most delicious in two weeks of our stay in Georgia, and wherever we ate them, from cafes to restaurants.

They are examples of hospitality and friendly warmth. I want to return to them. Do not take blackberry wine on the market. It won't be the same everywhere.
You can park for free near the market opposite. You may have to walk 200 m.
There are also sellers on the rails. You can also get fruits and vegetables there cheaper than anywhere else. Example: sweet and sour pomegranates for 4 GEL. There are 10 at the entrance and in the shops.
On the second floor there are chickens, meat, cheeses and milk. I didn't like anything that was taken on the second floor.
But there is a good fish near the market. Fresh fish similar to sea bass, but half the size, costs 16 lari / kg. It's delicious to cook with herbs. From a wild catch. There is a Turkish one, but from fish farms.
And so the market is like a market from childhood. Once you stay, you won't want to anymore. It's a little dirty, then I want to wash up.

Поставил 3*, ни туда ни сюда, сейчас расскажу. Выбор на самом деле обширен, цены, зачастую дешевле чем в магазине, но не всегда. Иногда тебе её придумывают из головы, на 1 а то и на 2 лари больше чем в магазине. Но можно поискать по другим торговцам и найти то что хотел. И вот однажды я нашёл очень приятную женщину, у которой купил сразу всё что мне нужно. Дома остался доволен качеством, но... Придя во второй раз, часть картошки положили гнилой, в третий раз я ей это озвучил, картофель выбирали тщательнее, за остальное не проверял, как итог, лук и морковь почти сразу на выброс... После этого решили снова ходить в магазин, благо рядом с домом было ято то типо фермерской лавки.
На втором этаже куча сладостей, покупали там мёд, чурчхелу, пастилу и на подарки в том числе. Там же на втором свежее мясо и сыр.
