The beautiful architecture of old Yerevan can be said to be an architectural monument, but the internal appearance absolutely does not correspond to the external beauty of the building.
But it takes very little to bring all this to its proper appearance and it can even be shown to tourists.
The market has every chance to turn into the pearl of Komitas Avenue after the internal restoration.
There is a stall next to the market where they sell raw meat. Shish kebab is prepared on site from this meat for a small fee. The quality is good, the price is reasonable.
The market is more for locals. Not a tourist, not everyone understands Russian. We bought wonderful tomatoes, herbs, dried fruits. Rijan was a little sour. This is a local product, rich cream, dense as butter. I recommend.
I'm not going to lie, I remember this market from my childhood, the last time I was there was in 1992, so I can't tell you how it is now. Then there was a feeling that you could buy everything from fresh herbs (kindza, tarragon, parsley, dill, etc.) to any baking
I really like the market for the quality of products and prices. But the building itself is in a very neglected state. It's a pity. It could be used to make a candy in the form of a food court with different cuisines and, of course, food aisles
One of the oldest markets in the city. You can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, meat, prices are acceptable, the market is open all days of the week, it is closed only on New Year's holidays.

Complete unsanitary conditions, smelly cheeses, cottage cheese. Dirty refrigerators that barely work. At the same time, prices are like in good shops and shops. Such places should be closed long ago.
The market is like a market. It makes sense to go in just to buy something (food: vegetables, fruits, nuts, seasonings, homemade cheese, etc.); I would not consider it as a tourist destination.
