Absolutely magical! Feels like stepping into a fairytale. The view over the Danube and Parliament is one of the best in Budapest. Perfect at sunrise, sunset, or even late at night. Free access to most parts, and well worth the climb.

A beautiful place in Buda. Judging by the number of tourists, it is almost the most popular in the city. The complex itself, along with the monument and the cathedral, look great. There is also a beautiful view of the Danube and the parliament building from here. We were staying at the Hilton Hotel and the view from the windows was right on the bastion and the surrounding panorama.

It's just five out of five. Amazing place, amazing architecture. And the Matthias temple inside is just magic. I also recommend climbing the temple tower for a fee, offering stunning views.

A beautiful place in Buda, with a wonderful view of the opposite bank of the Danube and the buildings in Pest. It is better to walk here in the morning, before 11, or in the evening, after 18 o'clock, when there are no crowds of tourists, and no one bothers to photograph the gorgeous views of Pest, the boats on the Danube and the very beautiful bastion itself.

It takes a long time to climb the hill through numerous stairs and passages, but it's worth it. From this point you can enjoy a magnificent view of Budapest, the Parliament and the surrounding areas. And by bus number 5 from Atilla Avenue, you can quickly get to the Arena shopping center (and the stop is on the descent) from the opposite side.

The views of the Hungarian capital are, of course, picturesque and pleasantly pleasing to the eye, the photos turn out to be advantageous, but you have to pay for everything, even for entering the church and climbing the turrets. Panoramia Cafe is inadequately expensive, but at least there you could sit in the shade and enjoy a cup of coffee through the arched openings of the Fisherman's Bastion to admire the parliament and the views of Pest

The most beautiful attraction of the Hungarian capital, Buda, which is on the high shore.
The name is historical, there are no fish here, and as a bastion in the military-defensive sense, it is also not used.
A complex of buildings in the neo-Romantic style made of beautiful white stone.
From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the whole city, the part of it that is Pest, the Danube, and all the bridges.
We went down the old funicular, which is also a landmark.

The place is stunningly beautiful, I did not go into details why this place was named that way, but the views from there that open at night and during the day are fascinating. By itself, it impresses with bas-reliefs, the beauty of architecture and sophistication...it seems that the architect personally embodied his idea in stone...be sure to visit.
