Ruins of the 1902 county hospital with 100 beds. During the First World War, there was a German officer's hospital here. In 1944, because of the shelling, the hospital burned down, now only these ruins. That's the story in the smallest city in Belarus. And the ruins themselves are impressive..

The ruins of the hospital look a little depressing against the background of the private sector of the city of Disna. View of the zap. The Dvina River and the ferry are perfect. The stone road nearby impresses with its history.
It's a very photogenic place. The ruins look right agony! :) And there is also one of the last operating ferries in Belarus nearby. In general, it is definitely worth visiting and taking pictures!))
What an atmospheric place there is on the shore of the Western Dvina! We got really high! And the ruins of the hospital are very impressive! But there you get pleasure in the aggregate from the atmosphere of the whole place!
A good, modern sanatorium. Modern honey.equipment, friendly and qualified staff, good food. For those who want to undergo an examination and recovery, I recommend it.
The condition of the hospital corresponds to the country. I liked the view of the river and the ferry crossing behind the ruins more. There is a bench there where you can sit and relax and admire.
You can walk around, take a ferry to the other side of the river. And if you comprehend the beauty of the canyon river, then time will be spent with a good and positive charge of energy)))
We stayed with a tent here. It's very atmospheric. On one side is the Western Dvina River with a ferry crossing, on the other are ruins. It's very quiet at night.
The passage is comfortable. I recommend.
I liked the ruined walls, the local people telling stories about this hospital, it was very interesting. The ruins stand on a steep bank of the river. You can go inside, look at the pipes going up into the sky, go down to the basement. The story will be very interesting to the people. And in general, Desna is an amazingly wonderful city.
I was here when I was looking for my grandfather, who went missing in July 1941. The head of the artillery supply of the 166 infantry regiment, he met the Germans here at the end of June. They were standing just opposite this hospital on the other side of the Dvina River.
