It was my first time in Egypt, but I was not at all disappointed that I chose the Royal Savoy. The on-site, in-room service is beyond praise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cuisine is certainly good, varied and delicious. There are a lot of Italians in the hotel, which is probably why the pizza was delicious. I liked the Ala carte restaurants in general, but in the main restaurant you can eat just as well. Since I was vacationing in royal, there was a private beach for us with a good bar and fast service, the beach itself was not more than a third full. The beach is sandy, but you can swim and dive only from the pier, because there is a reef. But the pier is not long, so swimming is very comfortable. We took masks and fins. The underwater world is certainly something impressive.

I was surprised that there are always sun beds on the beach and tourists do not leave towels on them, but disappear themselves) the sea was pleased with the variety of fish, everyone swam - both adults and children. The staff at the hotel is friendly and almost everyone speaks Russian. In general, May is exactly the direction to Sharm el Sheikh - the weather is super, there is no sweltering heat and wind.

It is very difficult to stay hungry! The location of the hotel is good, close to the airport, Sharks Bay, in itself is quite quiet, there are practically no winds, even in off-season. Near the hotel is SOHO Square, you can walk, there are many restaurants, cafes and bars, a singing fountain, a market, shops, an ice rink, an ice cave, a concert program in the evening. In general, there is something to do in the evenings. We always go there in January, the weather is good, there is no sweltering heat, of course it's cool in the evening. We sunbathe during the day, swim in the sea every day, I will not say that the water is very warm, but refreshing about 23-25 *, near a coral reef. There is a large heated swimming pool. the rooms are very decent, there is everything you need. I highly recommend the hotel!

Rooms: it can be seen that after renovation - especially the bathrooms, the furniture in the room - yes, it is old, but in perfect order. Each room has a great veranda. The territory has two swimming pools, plus a children's pool by the sea (very convenient), 5 a la carte restaurants, a volleyball court, everything is very well maintained, excellent The staff is all friendly, if you have any questions, they will help The sea has 2 short pontoons, a reef with fish- there is a place to swim, plus there is a sandbank where it is very convenient to play with children, sun beds with umbrellas are always available The food in the main restaurant is quite monotonous, but if you go to restaurants a-for cards, they feed much better in the evenings)) They give fresh mango and strawberry everywhere - it made me very happy Animation - Kids Club still has it, and then it just doesn't exist)) you don't have to count on this, there is a square next to the hotel - there are cafes, restaurants, fountains - you can walk a couple of times. They were at the end of November 2021. I was here about 12 years ago before that. Beautiful territory, wonderful pools, convenient beach. Everything is a little dilapidated, although it is clearly in the process of cosmetic repairs. However, the repair was done in a hurry: the ceilings in the room were painted directly on the old (sometimes falling off) plaster, the tile seams also looked like putty from above, the varnish peeled off the bathroom doors, the furniture was all rather tired, but fresh linen, towels, bathrobes. The staff is doing their best, but there are nuances. Cocktails are all about nothing - they don't know how and that's it. there is not even a simple carbonated wine, everywhere for an additional fee the local le baron is a glass at the price of a good prosecco in a Moscow restaurant above the middle class. It is not known how long an open bottle is in the refrigerator, I do not want to take a cat in a bag. A couple of times we took a bottle of sparkling wine at a bar in Soho Square, the price tag is the same - about 700 pounds. The food is monotonous at dinners - only one meat dish changes - beef was stewed yesterday, chicken will be stewed tomorrow. We had dinner all the time in a la carte. The level of fish, Italian and Mediterranean is about 3+ It's good that they cooked on the grill, local snacks are excellent - babaganush, mutabal (it's a pity that they are not on the buffet). In Italian, you will be offered local wines in a bottle without extra charge (with all meals), in the rest they will pour a glass at the bar and forget to refresh. There is a wine list everywhere ($) In Italian, they forgot to bring the ordered dessert, after 20 minutes we left, but the staff immediately remembered that we had not signed the receipt🤣 For some reason they began to put ice cream in a paper cup and try to hand the children 🤷♀️ Places by 9.00 on the beach in the afternoon with fire can not be found under an umbrella, if you want to roast in the sun, the staff kindly bring you deck chairs closer to the entrance to the sea. There are few 2 waiters on the beach, though. During rush hour, the beach bar can't cope - the queue lasts for 10 minutes. Beer on the beach is now only draught, it used to be canned. The restaurant will still offer you a bottle of your choice. As before, all animation is mostly in Sierra. The Tepanyaki restaurant on Soho Square doesn't deserve much attention- only if you haven't seen it anywhere else. We were unable to extend at least one room after 12.00, but we were not restricted access to lunch after the check-out. I would like to add sparkling wine, add variety to the kitchen, bring a little authenticity to ala-kart restaurants - and it will be very even. And a welcome drink, at least to offer water, while the accommodation is being arranged.
