1. Understaff in main restaurant during holidays and weekends.
2. Boat trips to the beach cancelled every day (made reservations four days in a row, one day before - no help).
A gorgeous hotel.
Of the advantages:
- modern, large hotel: there is a fitness room, a spa area, a large swimming pool, shallow, for insta-photo
- the rooms have everything you need: a safe, a kettle, tea accessories, an ironing board, an iron, a TV set, air conditioning, many sockets, a work desk
- we had a gorgeous view of the sea (no extra charge) and a balcony with a chaise longue, table and chairs for cozy gatherings
- good breakfasts and dinners - varied menu, delicious food
Of the cons:
- the level of service is 3-4, sometimes everything is perfect, and sometimes it feels like they forgot about you
- the air conditioner was turned on at 18 degrees in the room, we checked in late in the evening, warmed up the room for two days then
- there was no hair dryer and bathrobes in the room
- for long stays (over 3 days), a deposit must be made, the tour operator insisted on local currency, upon arrival at the hotel it turned out that it was possible in dollars: both cash and cashless
We stayed at this hotel with our family. What can you say about the Royal M Hotel? Only positive emotions remained from the rest at this hotel. Location, kitchen, friendly and helpful staff, in general, I liked everything. If you intend to visit the Emirates, then go in October, November. During this period, the weather is comfortable and the prices are reasonable. In December, prices for hotels and flights are already on the rise. I know from experience. I definitely recommend it!
The hotel is good, it has its own nuances, but people make it good. And now for more details:
Territory
It is between "minimal" and "absent". It should be understood that this is a city hotel. Inside the building there is a bar, a swimming pool, and outside there is a running track, a hairdresser, a dry cleaner, and that's about it. We were on the January holidays - they were making some kind of huge gazebo and a curtain from the sun. It would be interesting to see the outcome.
The location was convenient - it was cheap to take a taxi to the Louvre, the mosque, and the presidential palace. Yandex helps, and it's also cheaper than local services. Across the street there is a beautiful Marina with cafes and hookahs.
Hotel
Number:
The numbers in real life turned out to be much older than in the photo. From the unusual: if the room does not have a balcony, then the window does not open - the result is a lack of fresh air and dampness. The hood is pulling something, but it's not enough for the room. The rooms, by the way, are huge. We've been to 5* before, but there's a lot more space here.
Everything in the room is classic: a kettle with a set of tea and coffee, a refrigerator, water, a TV, a control panel on the bedside table (very convenient).
They found an iron in the closet, hangers that are brought in any required quantity, an extra pillow and a blanket. And a safe.
Bathroom:
A large part of the bathroom itself - and a rain shower, and a bathtub, and a watering can - all this is also independent from each other.
Who cares - there is a bidet. But because of him, the toilet is adjacent to the open door, hinting that you won't sit on it with the door to the room open, which is logical.
Inside they found scales, slippers, bathrobes, a mountain of towels, a bunch of disposable items (washcloth, razor, cap, toothbrush, etc.). The mirror is large, illuminated and heated. The heater does not turn off, which creates heating in the bathroom.
Swimming pool:
It's big, but shallow. Half of the pool is 0.8m, half is 1.2 meters deep. It was heated up, which is important in January. They write about the problems with sun beds: yes and no. Nice, beautiful places with views and comfort were almost always occupied. Just finding any place is not a problem at all. But it is difficult to say whether there was a full settlement or not.
What I liked: if you didn't come by 11, but decided to book a place with a towel in the morning, the lifeguard will remove the towel so that those who really need it can take the place.
The pool is cleaned every day, so it's beautiful when it opens (they work from 9 a.m. to sunset). There is an option for breakfast in the pool. The interesting thing is that then you have breakfast in it from 8 to 9 - while no one is in It. There are always two lifeguards watching the pool from different sides, so you can feel safe.
What else surprised me was that the hotel manager went and checked the pool every morning. I've never seen anything like this either (but about it separately).
Beach:
It is missing. For residents, they take them to the city three times for free. There is a choice - lie down on a towel on the sand or pay 10AED for a paid beach with sun beds and umbrellas. The beach itself is about 10 minutes away or 20 minutes on foot.
Bar:
There are two bars in the hotel. The one by the pool is from 9 to 19, as well as the one adjacent to the restaurant is from 19 to 23. According to the AI system, there is a small selection of alcohol, but it covers all needs. Moreover, you can ask to modify the cocktail somehow. The bartenders are all amazing and friendly.
I will write separately here that there is a lobby bar - a coffee point where they brew normal coffee, including alternative milk. The girl who usually stands there makes amazing coffee - delicious, rich. It's much, much better than what you'll get for breakfast from a coffee machine.
Restaurant:
Here, yes, 5*. Interestingly, the breakfasts are always the same (no, not monotonous, but exactly the same) - but there is always something to eat among them. But lunches and dinners are something. Interestingly, the chef supports the concept of two cuisines of the world - European and Indian. So, the variability increases significantly. There are always steaks for lunch, including fish, and meat in various forms for dinner.
There are always rolls, simple but delicious. I also want to say that there were desserts. Oh, it's incredible - they are very tasty and varied. My aunt is a pastry chef - I've been used to eating sweets since childhood, but here it's a completely different level - it's the dessert level of some Michelin restaurant, you know.
And a couple of lines about Saturday: Saturday brunch is when lunch becomes a hundredfold tastier, because they bring out crabs, shrimps on ice, and a bunch of other things, including various expensive cheeses. And the desserts there are even more delicious and incredible. If you are not traveling using the AI system, pay extra once for this dinner. For the residents of the hotel, it is much cheaper than entering from the street - and it is worth it.
People:
This is probably the most interesting part. This is an amazing place, which has both excellent managers who check and double-check everything from 6 a.m., pleasant bartenders (Nitesh, Santeewa, Sandun), a barista or hostess at the restaurant, and not the most pleasant cleaners who always forget to clean everything completely, put a full set of shower accessories, or optional people at the reception. (deske). We had unpleasant situations that were smoothed out only because there is a precious one responsible employee for the five irresponsible ones. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Baly, the supervisor at the reception, who managed to solve our problem, the person about whom only the most pleasant memories remain, and Mr. Hassan, the hotel manager, who took the time and listened to the feedback that I wanted to express specifically to the head of this hotel.
Resume:
You make a good vacation yourself. Whether the hotel is worth the money is up to you. For me personally, this is a good city hotel with an Infinity pool, great food (if AI), average alcohol, changeable service quality, but convenient infrastructure.
The food is all inclusive, but you have to understand that compared to Turkey, there is too limited a set of drinks, especially cocktails. They could have paid with a Gazprom card at the bar when our friends arrived. I was very annoyed by trips to the sea to the public beach by minibus to hudayoeriat island in the hottest weather, they only 2 times a day, at 10 and 15 o'clock, pick up with delays after 2 hours and a sunbed with an umbrella for 1 person for 25 drx, give out a voucher for the whole day, and of course you buy everything else too, either in the pool or at your own expense. We had a cold in the hotel, because centralized air conditioning and a large temperature difference outside and indoors, in the restaurant. The bartender worked in Egypt, understands a little Russian.
Good afternoon. I want to share my impressions about this hotel, where I stayed from 23.04 to 29.04
Of the advantages:
1. Not a bad room, everything you need is available, relatively fresh renovation, beautiful bathroom.
3. The dinners are varied and delicious, Indian/Italian/Turkish and other cuisines are served.
4. Polite and cheerful staff in the restaurant area.
Minuses:
1. The sound insulation in the room is just utter hell. The door adjacent to the next room leads to the fact that all the time you stay in the room you can hear your neighbors no worse than each other. And they can be different, and large families, and two locals who came to relax for one night in the company of a lady of easy virtue, and so on. In response to a request to calm the neighbors screaming all night, there was complete inaction on the part of the reception and security. So also under the windows themselves (in our case, they faced the entrance area, 3rd floor) there is a club where dozens of cars arrive daily, and hundreds more taxi drivers circle all night waiting for customers. The visitors themselves, of course, do not behave quietly on the street, respectively, you can hear all this splendor perfectly.
2. Reception and room cleaning. The former generally don't give a damn about any problem, the latter are always messing with basic things like: put one towel instead of two, forget to add water, etc.
3. A pool with a maximum depth of 1.20 (and then in very rare places)- it's terrible, of course. Even though it's instagrammed.
4. Breakfast meals are meager, there is no variety from the word at all.
5. A shuttle takes you to the beach, but the beach itself is without umbrellas, which is critical in the UAE, to put it mildly. The water is not of the best quality, 10 meters after entering the water, the sand is replaced by viscous clay, mud and algae. The cleanliness on the beach itself also leaves much to be desired.
P.S. There is, of course, nothing to do with children here. There is no suitable food, there is no entertainment.
A good hotel for its 5 stars. The room has everything from a kettle to elemis cosmetics. There is everything about food too. A mini bus takes you to the beach, the schedule can be found at the reception. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, and many different cafes. Here I noticed one minus with clogged sun beds near the pool, just towels and that's it. And so I want to come back here again
Nice five. Great food. Gained 3kg in three days. Watch out. Wonderful interior and view from the balcony. Very clean, not a speck of dust. Super service from reception to plumbing. Few Russians, few children.
The harp plays in the lobby and at dinner. Very cool.
Minuses:
1. the "boat to the island" service is not available with us (November 2023). But carries a shuttle to another beach (did not go). The pool is a little shallow, but it's infinity.
2. Far from Yas Island. By taxi ~80aed in one direction. I bought combos on ofits.Yasayland website: this hotel+ tickets, so I was counting on a free shuttle. Entrance to three parks for 14 days + three nights in this hotel for 4 people, hb cost only 150 thousand rubles, so we believe that it is still profitable, even riding a taxi back and forth. I recommend.
The hotel has a stylish interior and a chic Instagram pool. Convenient location, near the Corniche embankment and the Marina Mall shopping center. We had a room with a sea view - with a gorgeous view. There is a varied selection of dishes at breakfast. @viktoriatours
I really liked the hotel. The staff is polite and helpful. There are free buses to the beach. A quiet area with lots of yachts and boats at the marina.
A clean threesome!!! Spend the night and move cleanly about your business !!! If you are in favor of an All-inclusive vacation, look for another hotel. The only advantage of this hotel is the views that open from it!!!
A good 5-star hotel, in the restaurant on Saturdays at lunch, they give something delicious, but there is always something to eat, according to the all-inclusive system cocktails, wine beer, vodka, gin, whiskey, but in the pool from 10 to 17, and in the bar from 19 to 23! Learn English, it will be very useful, it's the only way there! The hotel is located far from the center of Abu Dhabi, the nearest shopping center is Marina Mall, 40 minutes on foot, in the evening you can walk normally. there is a bus to the beach, there are only sun beds, take umbrellas and a towel, showers and toilets are within walking distance. The hotel is good, I want to come back!

There is no beach. They take you to a paid beach, where sun loungers cost 1,500 rubles. And everything is paid. Grab a towel at the hotel on the way out.
In the evening, there is no animation at all in the hotel. It is not accepted among them. There is nothing to do at the hotel in the evening...
Overall, it's not bad.
Features:
1. Monotonous diet
2. Shallow pool (the deepest area is 120cm and it is small) - for children - great!
3. Transfer to the beach in 15 minutes. The beach WITHOUT UMBRELLAS and the near one is very shallow (knee-deep everywhere)
4. Rooms without balconies
5. Dinner: only water is included, Breakfast is everything except alcohol
A wonderful hotel. Clean, cozy, excellent staff. The food is great. The beach and the sea are amazing, warm and clean. A good holiday with children. The pool and the surrounding area are well maintained, pleasing to the eye. Recommend.
I didn't like the hotel at all: The suite is smoky, there are 0 territories, the hotel positions itself as a family, but the children have absolutely nowhere to put themselves, they ran into the lobby, so the guards came out. There is no playground for children or sports. Breakfast is $35, good, but expensive for breakfast) there are air conditioners everywhere. You go from the pool to the lobby, and you stand freezing while waiting for the elevator.
We're not going back
A great hotel with a great location. Beautiful rooms with sea views. The staff is always friendly and ready to help.
The only thing in my opinion is to improve the room service for the delivery of necessities, food, ice. It's a very long wait, but it doesn't spoil the impression in any way.
I really liked the hotel!
The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. There was an iron, but it was dirty, like the ironing board, I did not dare to iron it. The food is different and delicious every day, you can always find something to eat. But it is important to understand that if you do not take everything included, then there are no drinks for dinner except water. The pool is very shallow. I removed the star for the absence of the promised boat to the beach . In fact, they take a bus to the beach 3 times a day, it takes about 20 minutes to drive, and construction is underway on the beach itself and the water is muddy in places. In general, the hotel is good for your money, there is a place to go for a walk.
We had a rest from February 5 to 12, 2024, we really liked the hotel, cleanliness, order, we arrived around 8 a.m., checked us in at 11, the staff is very friendly. The rooms are large, comfortable with a view of the bay, the room has a refrigerator, a safe, a kettle, a hairdryer, a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Linen and towels were changed every day. There are soft drinks and Arabic coffee and dates in the lobby. The pool is large, clean with fresh water, there is a sauna, a steam room. The breakfasts were very varied, you can choose for every taste. There is a shuttle service to the beach from the hotel. I really enjoyed my vacation. I recommend.
I liked the hotel, good service, spacious rooms. Delicious and varied food, good quality alcohol, delicious coffee. If there was any animation in the evenings, it would be just great.)
I'll start with the cons. !!! Upon check-in, they said that we had booked a room with separate beds. They offered to change it with an additional payment of 120aed per day!!!! For a second, the number was already worth 20t.r!!!
With a fight, the number was given! The sheets are torn. The room is dirty. Broken flashing light in the bathroom on the zekral.
We took everything included. There are questions here too. We were given a paper in Russian where everything is written that we are supposed to. I personally went to drink cocktails all day at the pool! And I wouldn't overpay either...
The cocktail list is not the same as on paper at all. 2 badyagi with orange juice. And one with a Coke. When we asked about the ones listed on the sheet, they said that we were not supposed to!!))) This is for ultra.
Well, it's funny!!! It's just cocktails! Which by the way were in another emirate of this network. There is something to compare.
In short, we don't drink much..
After 2 days, everything in the room broke! The lights were blinking, the Wi-Fi TV was not working. We wait...
The only good thing is the food, and they didn't let me down with that again.
They write about the noise of a nightclub. He's not working with us right now. Nothing bothers you. Noise insulation is also not ice. But it's not just a cap. It is more audible in the neighbors' apartments.
In general, how I loved this chain before and specifically wanted to go to the same hotel... It turned out to be a complete disappointment.
Transfer to the city beach, positioning that they take the island to their beach by boat during our stay did not work, far from the road and, accordingly, on foot to the embankment and the shopping center on foot is long and far. Oddly enough, the tonic is not included in the concept of ALL gin yes, but the tonic is paid. That's weird...The impression is twofold, they seem to be trying and helping to solve everything, but they do not want to return.
Super hotel, I recommend it to everyone, but if you plan to spend more time at sea, keep in mind that in bad weather the boat does not take tourists to the island
The hotel is excellent, everything is clean, friendly staff, delicious cuisine, convenient location.
Even though you need to get to the beach by bus, and the hotel provides it, we spent all our time at the pool)
An excellent hotel that allows you to combine a beach holiday with city walks. All the staff is friendly and hospitable, promptly solving all the issues that arise, I especially want to mention the hostess Victoria for the unforgettable atmosphere and comfort. A comfortable beach that is located on the island. A boat runs according to the schedule. The food is for an amateur, but no one was left hungry. A chic swimming pool at the hotel, but rather for children
Great hotel! Very nice lobby 🥰
There is an island where a boat departs every morning and afternoon for a couple of hours. There is also a swimming pool, a playground.
The hotel itself has a very nice huge swimming pool with different depths.
The rooms are clean, beautiful view from the room.
We got to celebrate the New Year, there was a lot of varied food and desserts.
The only negative, if you look, of course, is that the hotel is located far from the city center and there is nothing special within walking distance. To shopping centers and shops by taxi.
Lovely hotel in a good location! Close to the Corniche and other major attractions of Abu Dhabi. The rooms are gorgeous. I really liked the pool. The beach is on your own experience, where a boat takes you twice a day. So it turns out to be a pleasant boat trip with a view of the city!!! The food is a buffet, they cook very tasty, especially desserts!!! I recommend🩷
We had a rest in the New Year 2022-2023. The hotel itself is very good, the food is peculiar, there are some interesting dishes. Desserts are cosmic, a lot of dishes with a lot of seasonings (in principle, this is typical for this region), but the work of the staff leaves much to be desired. Some say one thing, others another. That food at such a time, then at another. The all-inclusive system includes only water for lunch, the rest of the drinks are paid. Free only by the pool in the bar. So we took food at the restaurant, went to the pool and ordered coffee and tea there, just sur. I really liked swimming to my island, the boat sails 2 times a day - at 10 and at 15, the road to the island is 20 minutes, we are there +- 2 hours
The food, service, staff and rooms (although there were ants in the room had to be treated) are excellent. The pool is for an amateur. They no longer take you to their beach by boat, only public.
A good hotel, a large swimming pool and safe for children, a bus takes you to the beach, a clean beach, sun beds are free. Delicious food, a variety of food, always a lot of fruits 👍
Not a bad hotel! Clean, fresh, neat, beautiful. The staff is friendly! I would certainly like more variety in food)
Minus - you need to swim to the beach for 20 minutes, the boat goes 2 times a day and again, you go into the water a meter from the shore and the silt and algae begin (((you were there once, the second time you just didn't want to!
Great hotel. Rested in 2020. Stunning location with sea views. The room has a view of the bay and the capital. The kitchen is excellent, the staff is wonderful. There are great drinks in the chic bar)). The beach on its own island is equipped with showers, toilets, there is also its own bar. A boat runs from the hotel to the beach - an amazing ride on the waves every day, views from the boat to the coastal quarters of Abu Dhabi. In the hotel you will: from the gym to the swimming pools. The hotel is 100 points out of 100!
A super hotel. away from the noisy streets. The rooms are cool. The pool, the restaurant, the service are all at the highest level. I recommend everyone to visit it at least once.
Did you like the hotel 👍🏼
The hotel is located on the shore, but there is no beach of its own, so every day by boat at 10 am (at 13 o'clock back) and at 15 pm (at 17-18 back) they take you to the island. Drive 15-30 minutes, a whole boat trip with a great view of the city (free of charge). The island is only for hotel guests, no one else will be there. The island has a swimming pool, a bar, a toilet, changing rooms and a shower. But I didn't really like the sea, because there are algae and the bottom is muddy.
There is a swimming pool with a sea view on the territory of the hotel, there are many sun beds by the pool, towels can be taken in any quantity.
The room is nice with a beautiful view, but without a balcony (there is nowhere to dry things). The room has everything you need, but there are no bathrobes (which is strange for a 5-star hotel). Often the staff put fewer towels, but at the reception all issues were always quickly resolved.
The staff is very polite, the waiters remembered their preferences in a few days and brought drinks without questions.
Food is like everywhere else. On Saturdays, there is a belly feast at lunch, there are a huge number of sweets (beautiful desserts, very tasty sweets and a chocolate fountain), seafood, various cheeses. The rest of the days are also good food, there is always chicken, meat and fish - there is plenty to choose from. There are themed days when chefs prepare various dishes in an open kitchen (pasta, shawarma, noodles, hot dogs, burgers, etc.). There are always vegetables and fruits (watermelon, melon, pineapple, papaya), good pastries for breakfast.
There are very nice cafes, a supermarket and a pharmacy near the hotel within walking distance.
The hotel will always help you call a taxi. It is convenient to get to all the attractions by taxi in 15-30 minutes (15-75 dirhams) and on the spot.
Overall, the impressions about the hotel are positive.
A great hotel, with excellent service and friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent and varied buffet! Everything is very tasty. In short, everything is super! In a word, the Emirates!
Wonderful hotel.
Not very new, but the staff and service and the location were very pleased.
The food is delicious.
Chef Dino is wonderful)
I wanted to come back again!
I highly recommend the waiter Lydia.
The bartender Tarik is wonderful)
And the beach workers Jagat and Rose.
The hotel is on 4. Upon arrival, the TV did not work, only YouTube without sound. They changed the TV, one Russian channel started working, and YouTube stopped working. There are church broadcasts on this channel. It would be better if YouTube had no sound. The room is very cold and that's good. A mirror with a buggy backlight got caught, stood like an id for 40 minutes.. from trying to turn it off, barely coped. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean, they look expensive, but the truth is that the crown beer is expensive for 35 dirhams, a sober rest is provided. There is an island, but they closed it when we were there, one of the kings died, they had an after party there, in general everything is cool and very hot, almost an ambulance took them away while walking around the city! I recommend it!
The only drawback is the lack of a beach within walking distance. It is necessary to go by boat, which runs from the hotel 3 times a day. But the beach on the island is very quiet, there is food in the form of fast food of acceptable quality, drinks, WiFi.
Cool hotel, polite staff, good and relatively fresh rooms.
Kitchen - there are a lot of seasonings, but there is enough choice based on the package - "All inclusive"
Swimming pool with bar up to 18 hours daily.
Definitely liked it)
Good afternoon. I do not recommend this hotel. I drove with full confidence that nothing was being stolen from the rooms, I was mistaken. They stole $ 100, I noticed it the day before departure, of course it was my fault that I didn't put everything in the safe, but kept it in the bedside table.
We also changed dinner for lunch and it turned out that it didn't work on Saturday and no one warned us.
An amazing 5k . In a bad way. The food is the same 6 days a week and is not quite dull, for dinner it is the same as for lunch. On Saturday, the feast is a mountain - from sushi to desserts with gold. With the posted "take away my room", they cleaned up on the third day. The waiter has to be caught. There is never an employee at the coffee station. There is no animation at all in the Emirates. The pool is small, it's not the season - it's enough, it will be crowded in the season. There is no territory at all. The bed and mattress are good, the sofa for children is terrible - I tried to sleep on it, I couldn't sleep on the curved pieces of iron digging into the body. Calls and personal requests to the reception (you need a blanket, towels) do not lead to anything, as do repeated ones. You can take a boat that goes at 10 and at 15 to get to the hotel island, where you can swim in the sea, drink, eat, etc. But the cabins are locked, the pool on the island is dirty and generally neglected. It's a long way to the city beach. There is a very small shop within a 10-minute walk. To get to everything else only by taxi.
We arrived at the hotel exactly at midnight, right on New Year's Eve.
We were quickly registered, given a room key and that's it, then the guys figure it out for themselves. There is no information where to go, on which floor our room is, where the elevator is, it was unpleasantly surprised on the move, but they wrote it off to the New Year's turmoil.
Room: spacious enough, the layout is beautiful. Gorgeous view of the bay from the window. There is a kettle, water, tea, coffee, ironing board with iron. Clean up every day, cosmetics are updated.
The bathroom is beautiful, but there were flaws in the plumbing, the watering can was leaking and the sink was clogged, the water was leaving badly. It was difficult to adjust the water, then boiling water pours, then frosty freshness.
The furniture is all new, modern, but the carpet is not monitored, it was in various spots for every taste.
You can safely communicate with your neighbors through the wall, you can hear perfectly.
Restaurant: we took a room with breakfast and dinner. The food has hardly changed all 6 days, you already know in advance where everything is. The waiters are very tired and elusive. By the time the coffee arrives, you've already had breakfast.
Beach: the hotel has a private beach on the island, where they take you by boat, it takes 15-20 minutes to swim. The trip to the beach is not free for everyone, it is better to clarify this point at the reception, as we were told that the trip costs 50 dirhams per room. The beach itself is not very clean, there is a lot of garbage from guests and partially construction debris is present. Shower, toilet, bar with food and drinks is present. Just don't forget to take the money.
After swimming a couple of meters from the shore, you stumble upon algae under your feet, so-so pleasure.
We didn't swim in the pool, I can't say anything.
The hotel itself and its territory are clean and well maintained.
There is nothing for children except a small children's pool. It will be difficult to feed the children with something useful, since the food is peculiar. With a child, I definitely wouldn't stay here.
If this is your first trip, then the hotel may pleasantly surprise you, but if you are a seasoned traveler, you will probably get a little sad from the discrepancy with the declared 5 stars at the hotel.
I would give 3 stars to the hotel, but I don't want to spoil the rating.
Thanks to Anwar and Mohammed for helping us find our lost luggage at the airport!
