A good hotel, breakfasts for "slaughter", portions are large and delicious. Somehow everything is at home, although the buffet. The location of the hotel is very convenient to get from the metro. I recommend.
The best of the three hotels we stayed in during our entire trip to Azerbaijan.
1. Location: The hotel is located in the old town, very close to the famous filming location of the famous "Damn It!" from the Diamond Hand.
2. The hotel is located in two buildings. One is near the Devil, the other is near the Polish Embassy. Where you will be accommodated depends on the occupancy of the room stock. We lived in the second building of the hotel for almost the entire trip and were alone in it! It was very quiet and pleasant to be there.
3. Breakfast in the main building, when the weather is good, you can have breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast with a good choice. Egg dishes, cheesecakes, sausages, tea, coffee, spread. Every morning the sweetest girl brought us various jams for tea 💔
4. The room is quite decent in size. A comfortable bed and good bed linen. There was one minus, since the house is old, there was often a smell of sewage from the bathroom. It was solved by closing the bathroom door and pouring water. But that was the only unpleasant fact.
5. The staff is pleasant, ready to help in different situations.
6. Wi-Fi is working. It's not very strong, but it's enough for social networks, and in principle you can even watch a movie.
For the price per room, it's not budget-friendly, of course, but given the location, the price tag may be justified.
P.S. Sometimes the entrance to the old town is closed. This often happens on weekends. But since the hotel is located not far from one of the entrances to the old town, there should not be any problems with moving suitcases.
The staff is polite and helpful. The service is fast and excellent. The location is convenient in the old town, next to "damn it". The breakfasts are normal. I recommend.
Excellent location: the center of Baku, the old city, damn it, just under the window, opposite the ancient fortress wall, the atmosphere is extraordinary. 3 minutes from the embankment, there is a small Venice, a carpet museum, near the shopping center. All the sights are within walking distance, the metro is also nearby.
Cozy rooms, air conditioning, hot water, refrigerator, kettle. The breakfasts are divine, the girls are very nice, they work, they cook delicious. Morning coffee with strawberries is just the best. The buns were also great. And pancakes. Thank you!!
I liked everything, the paintings in the halls, how it smelled in the corridors, how the seals were sitting opposite, how the wind blew through the open window, how they helped carry the suitcase to the room, and settled in a little early.
A wonderful cozy hotel. It was an excellent choice and greatly decorated our trip to Baku.
Unfortunately, all the impressions from the hotel were ruined by fraud on the part of the staff. We booked through booking services. We were checked out at the time of arrival, we paid, but the hotel cancelled the reservation at that moment, as if we had not checked in at the specified time. As a result, my booking account was blocked and all bonuses from this booking were canceled, and I had to restore them. I urge everyone to be attentive. It is unclear what the management of the hotel thinks and why to do so. They shyly closed their eyes to our claim and pretended that they did not understand what was being said. Later, my account was restored and it says that the reservation was canceled at the initiative of the accommodation facility.
Judging by the reviews here and on Google, this is not the first time for this hotel.
The hotel itself is not bad, conveniently located, and comfortably furnished. There are no kettles in the rooms, which were announced on the booking list of amenities. The breakfasts are really delicious.
Cozy authentic hotel, rather like a bed&breakfast.
Located behind the four seasons Hotel
The location for walking around the center or the boulevard is ideal.
The staff is friendly, by the standards of the service sector of this country - very friendly)
The breakfasts are continental, hearty, delicious. Cozy small terrace on the 3rd floor, where you can sit at any time.
The rooms are small, one smelled of mothballs, they asked to relocate, they immediately did.
It can be noisy under the windows, especially on the 1st floor, although considering the city center it is quite tolerable.
The hot water wasn't always hot enough.
A very cozy place, in the heart of the old town! The view is wonderful, the breakfast is amazing, just like at home! They met me, helped me with my suitcase, told me everything, it was a pleasure.
A pleasant hotel in the center of the Old Town. The rooms are small, but quite cozy, with lots of colorful, authentic details. The breakfasts are prepared by wonderful women, and in general the hotel staff is very welcoming. It was noticeable that all the staff were trying to make their stay at their hotel as comfortable as possible. I recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the historical center.
Very convenient location of the hotel - in the historical part of the city, inside the fortress walls. The hotel itself is beautiful, authentic. The staff is nice, the manager is a sociable and friendly guy.
The hotel consists of two buildings located about two hundred meters from each other. The hotel rooms are small. At first we were in a room of 18m2. There's certainly not enough space. Then we asked to be moved to another room. We were moved to a larger room in the second building. The breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are cleaned well, but not great either.
The Perfect Location! They lived in a historic building of the 18th century. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to get to the main building where the reception and breakfast are served. A very tasty and generous breakfast. Excellent Staff, ready to help at any moment! Free Round-the-clock tea (coffee) cookies and fruits! I don't understand dissatisfied people who write negative reviews! If I'm in Baku, I'LL DEFINITELY COME BACK HERE! In General, I Recommend It!
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Excellent location. A cozy and clean room with a balcony. Helpful and friendly staff. Special thanks to Aigyun and her sister for their care and delicious breakfasts!
We were at the hotel in March 2024. Small but cozy rooms, views of the Four seasons and the walls of the old town. Clean, the bed and towels were changed several times during the week. A small restaurant on the 3rd floor with a terrace, but very cozy and always served. Breakfast is a separate song. And it's really a song! Omelets, fresh herbs, dried olives with ricotta, fresh coffee or fragrant tea in armuda, rose petal jam or cherry jam, cheesecakes and pancakes. Everything is very tasty and, believe me, very satisfying! The staff of this hotel will warmly welcome you, answer any question of concern, call a taxi, give you an umbrella in rainy weather, prepare an early breakfast if you have an excursion or early departure (for example, at 4:00 am), and even find a trusted doctor if you have (God forbid a toothache). A low bow to Bahruz, Aigyun and all the staff of this wonderful hotel!
Live in an antique shop. It was the unusual, authentic interior that attracted my attention to this hotel in the first place. The reviews and the price were second. My acquaintance began with communication. On the phone, the manager helped me determine the room category. I knew there were options where the windows looked into the wall. And I needed a view of the city. As a result, I was accommodated in the historical building, which is a five-minute walk from the main one. But it was even nice to walk through the streets of the Old Town early in the morning for breakfast. The room itself was on the second floor. The windows looked out into the alley between the houses. It was quiet. Occasionally, only the voices of passing people and cat trills could be heard. The room was spacious and very warm (I kept the windows open). I had a wide double bed with a good mattress and pillows, a wardrobe, several chests of drawers, a refrigerator, a TV and fast wi-fi. The bathroom has a shower cabin and underfloor heating. Hot water was available without interruption. There are no smells of sewage and antiquity. Clean and cozy. The hotel staff also left good impressions. There are very nice girls working in the cafe. Smiling, polite. Dishes are prepared quickly. Everything is delicious and very satisfying. Many people have already written about the location of the hotel. Really one of the best. Within walking distance of the metro, the embankment, the main sights of Baku, restaurants and shops. The only thing that added a fly in the ointment was the absence of the welcome fruit tea announced about the booking. And a compliment on my birthday, which fell on one of the days of my stay. But overall, I was very pleased with my stay in this place. For the unassuming traveler, highly recommend.
A cool atmospheric hotel. Friendly employees. We settled in at a late hour without any problems. The room is clean and cozy, there is no smell of sewage
The location of the hotel is excellent. Excellent breakfasts and friendly staff in the restaurant. Good interior design. Good wi-fi Internet connection.
Among the disadvantages: poor-quality cleaning and replenishment of accessories in the rooms; disgusting standard rooms on the ground floor of the hotel: not being able to open the windows due to noise from tourists and hotel staff smoking in front of the windows, the rooms are small;.
The hotel was recommended to us by relatives who stayed in December 2023. We also really liked the hotel, the location, the friendly atmosphere, the very pleasant staff of the restaurant, the reception. Beautiful room , quiet , interior , there is not a single minus .
I recommend this hotel!
I hope we will return to beautiful Baku someday, and there will be no questions about where to stay for sure!! Thank you very much!
A very beautiful place, the old town. There are a lot of small hotels, restaurants and tour agencies. Prices bite at everything. It's a little empty in the afternoon, some tourists, and in the late afternoon the most traffic begins.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of January, in a "family" room with a balcony - spacious and comfortable (but most rooms are small, many with a view into the wall). The location of the hotel is just perfect for city hiking. The staff is friendly, they meet you halfway in everything. The breakfasts are very nice, we started with coffee, snacks and hot, ended with tea with sweets. The women in the restaurant work wonderfully, we felt like visiting relatives. In general, the hotel left a very warm impression, if we still get out to Baku, then only here.

If you want authenticity, come here!)
The hotel is located in the old town, in the very center.
You will leave and return along narrow streets, where, by the way, the car will not pass.
An 18th-century building with all the amenities in the rooms.
The room is small, but we fit in.
We had a room with a view of the baths, the street.
We lived on the second floor.
The room had everything you needed-a comfortable bed with excellent pillows and blankets, with snow-white linen.
Air conditioning,hair dryer (shampoo,conditioner,shower gel),kettle (cups,saucers,tea bags),safe,refrigerator.
A closet with hangers (I wish there were a little more of them), bedside tables, a chair.
TV (never turned on🙈).
Water was put on every day.
The curtains on the windows are almost blackout.
There is a mosquito net.
There are no toothbrushes.
The sound insulation in the room is good.
The hotel inside is very beautiful, there are a lot of interior things.
For the extension, we were moved to a room on the 1st floor - we liked it more.
On the second floor, the bathroom smelled of sewage, but this was not the case here.
The content is the same, the color combinations are more harmonious.
About the restaurant)
We had breakfast included and it was wonderful. Breakfast is here from 8-10: They will bring you focaccia, cottage cheese and olives, sliced tomatoes/cucumbers, many varieties of jam, cheeses, honey in an individual.packaging.
For the hot meal, they will offer to choose their own version of me.
Omelets with various fillings, cheesecakes, sausages, porridges.
Tea, coffee to choose from, juices, water.
During our stay, watermelon was served for breakfast.
You will definitely have a delicious and satisfying breakfast.
The girls are as sweet as the sun, very hospitable as housewives.
The smell of pancakes woke us up at 7 o'clock)
All the sights of the old town are within walking distance from the hotel.
I definitely recommend it
Excellent hotel, in the very center, all the sights are within walking distance. The friendly staff will help and advise you at any time. The breakfasts are just 5+, delicious, varied and with excellent service. Thank you so much for the excellent service!
The main advantage of this place is a stunningly convenient location, literally thirty meters from the exit from the hotel there is an exit to the governor's garden and an underground passage to Primorsky Boulevard. Otherwise, there is nothing much to admire, just a small hotel in the city center. We had a completely tiny room with a window looking into the wall. The bed for two is too narrow (although if it were wider, it would be extremely difficult to walk around the room ...), the mattress on the bed is comfortable, the linen and towels are clean. Breakfast was included, for breakfast scrambled eggs, or omelet with herbs, or tomatoes, or cheese. Tea or coffee to choose from, the choice is difficult only by non-Russian speaking staff. However, the receptionist is quite Russian-speaking and extremely hospitable, although it is better not to ask for a taxi, if necessary, to order it, you will have to walk half the city to the car and pay exorbitantly... The hotel can be recommended if you are not in Baku for a long time and plan to walk around the city center.
Convenient location, close to the metro and all the sights. The hotel itself is beautiful, cozy and peaceful. Breakfast is a hotel art!!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!!
A wonderful hotel in the old town! The staff is friendly, the cleanliness in the rooms is perfect. Breakfast with a view of the old town. The cook makes the most delicious nuts with boiled condensed milk, just like in childhood! The place has fully met expectations!
This is the case when reality has exceeded all expectations!!! When you check into this hotel, it's as if you get into your own family, where they have been waiting for you for a long time and do not want to let you go :)) the staff is sooo attentive and caring! Breakfasts are a separate story, as if you hadn't been to your mother for a long time and then suddenly returned home after a long absence, such delicious and homemade food, incredible pancakes with condensed milk❤❤❤❤the location of the hotel is very convenient, in the old town and at the same time close to the embankment! I didn't want to leave:((thanks again to all the hotel staff for their hospitality!! Especially Aigul💖
A chamber hotel with a beautiful interior and a convenient location (within the walls of the old town). Very friendly staff, always ready to help. The rooms are clean, equipped and equipped with everything you need. Frequent change of towels and linen without unnecessary reminders. The breakfasts are delicious and very satisfying.
The hotel as a whole is not bad, the location is also convenient, but there is one point because of which I will never stay at this hotel again. The hotel makes frauds with bookings in Booking.com , reducing the time of actual stay or cancels reservations retroactively, apparently not wanting to pay a commission Booking.com . I have stayed at this hotel three times and twice my reservations were canceled by the hotel, the third time the stay was cut in half from the real one. In this regard, Booking has paid a significantly smaller number of bonuses. There is no longer any desire to stay in a hotel with thoroughly deceitful staff and I will not advise anyone.
A small hotel in the very center of Baku. 200 m to the filming location of the "Diamond Hand". Within walking distance of all cafes, attractions and shopping. Special thanks to the hotel managers! Very friendly and helped a lot. Breakfasts are generally "cosmos"! I recommend it very much, you will not regret it!
Nice hotel! I like to be served quickly and have good sound insulation. The only thing I would like to improve is the food in the restaurant (I ordered dumplings in the room), the store ones are tastier🙈

A cozy, homely hotel in the Old Town. Delicious breakfasts that are prepared in front of you. Taxis do not approach the hotel, you need to walk a little
