The hotel that hit right in the heart!
Ideal location in the Karakey area — everything interesting is nearby:
• stunning waterfront with cafes, shops and a museum of modern art,
• 3 breathtaking mosques,
• a lively street with bars, cafes and the legendary mackerel shawarma,
• Karakey Pier,
• only 10 minutes to Galata Tower and 15 minutes to Istiklal.
There is one important caveat: there is a minaret with a megaphone right across the street. Morning prayer will wake you up, and if you wake up easily and find it difficult to fall asleep again, take this into account when choosing.
We lived in both deluxe and standard rooms. Of course, the deluxe is more comfortable, more spacious, with a huge bed. But the standard is also quite comfortable. Additional items were brought on request. A blanket, pillows, and an iron are all operational.
The breakfasts are modest, they take place on a small covered terrace, the tables are crowded. But, as our experience in three hotels in Istanbul has shown, meager breakfasts are more the norm.
And I can't help but say about the lobby — it's a great example of interior design with a capital letter. An incredible combination of textures, ornaments, colors and art objects. It's not just about relaxation, it's about experience, being in such interiors is an inspiration in itself.
Nice budget hotel in a cool neighborhood. Nice room, cozy restaurant, friendly staff. There's even a gym, it smells a bit, but it'll do. After all, I was in Istanbul to eat, drink and walk, not for the sake of Olympic records. The only thing is, the breakfasts could have been a little more varied. More protein foods, for example
A nice hotel with an unusual dark and stylish interior. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked even better than expected.
Convenient location for access to the embankment to the tram that will take you to the center
The hotel is good, but it is clear that absolutely no one is engaged in it, it is poorly cleaned. The breakfasts are not delicious, the staff doesn't care about you, they don't do anything. They walk foot by foot!!! Nothing happens until you complain to the hotel manager. The tables, walls, and floors in the restaurant are dirty and stained!!! No one cleans properly!!!
The rooms are small, the main thing is not to be accommodated in a room with a narrow small window overlooking the neighboring rooms))). No room cleaning!!! In general, it is a complete disappointment, as is the whole city of Istanbul.
The advantages of the hotel are the location. The advantages of Istanbul are its views and the Bosphorus))).
Excellent location of the hotel. The rooms are clean, daily cleaning, change of towels, water in the room, tea, coffee, hairdryer. Delicious breakfasts.
I put 4 and not 3 in advance. I hope they will improve
But who writes about the breakfasts that they liked them. They are clearly exaggerating!
The breakfasts are very poor and bad!
I only ate buns with chocolate paste!
My wife didn't eat!
And the child was fed porridge brought with him from Russia
The room is not big (although we had one of the smallest on the floor)
The hotel is located equally far from various places for walking on this shore!
In general, everything is fine, delicious breakfasts, convenient location, cleaning is frequent, of the minuses - the price tag is certainly not small. I recommend.
A good hotel, I really liked the location, transport is nearby and at the same time the Windows do not overlook a noisy street, a pleasant lobby with a bar with large comfortable sofas and separate seating areas, a delicious breakfast in a restaurant with panoramic views, responsive staff, the rooms have everything you need.
It's a very nice place, the employees are fine separately, thank you

The sound insulation is terrible, someone sneezes on the street, and you will hear on the 5th floor. Literally 50 meters away is a mosque, the azan is sung beautifully, and because of the poor sound insulation of the windows, you will hear the azan as if it is sung in your ear at six in the morning. Feel the flavor in full.
Breakfasts for Istanbul are also good, by the way, it is better only in very large chain hotels.
The rooms are cleaned perfectly, but half of the equipment is broken in the rooms, the watering cans in the shower do not work, the toilets with a bathtub are very small, but after the harsh conditions of the Ibis hotels, you do not have to complain at all.
But a three for the spa service. At the reception they say one thing, but at the spa it's completely different. 40€ for 30 minutes of a hammam for the guests — please don't thank me.
In any hotel, even a very self-respecting one, they do not allow themselves such strange pricing. The price of accommodation bites, even in the off-season, so taking money for a hammam (it's just a small room so you understand how in fitness clubs) is disrespectful to the guests.
I do not recommend the hotel
