The landfill itself looks unusual and attracts the eyes of both the indigenous residents of the area and the guests. It can be said that the horned landfill has become a kind of business card and an unspoken symbol of the Chervonogvardeysky district.
Climbing to the top is quite simple. Not far from the bus station, along the path you can climb an adequate slope to the horns themselves, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of both Makeyevka and the surrounding areas of the mining capital.
The only thing that leaves much to be desired is the education of visitors to this peak, who often do not bring their garbage to the trash can, leaving it at the top, which naturally spoils the atmosphere of the moment.

This is the legend of the Chervonogvardeysky district of Makeyevka and the Chervonogvardeyskaya AS. I do not know the full history of the origin of this landfill, but it looks pretty presentable...

this landfill is known for its "horns" at the very top.
The "horns" were formed from the rock that was taken out of the mine.
The view from the top is simply stunning.
