The State Forestry Institution "Rogachevsky Forestry" is located in the northwestern part of the Gomel region on the territory of Rogachevsky and Kormyansky districts. A small part is located on the territory of the Kirovsky district of the Mogilev region. The forestry enterprise includes seven forestry departments, a woodworking shop in the village of Shchibrin and repair and mechanical workshops, a radioactive control post. The forestry enterprise carries out forestry activities, is engaged in the harvesting of wood, its processing, sale to the domestic market and export. The forest fund managed by the Rogachev forestry enterprise is 77.9 thousand hectares, including 71.2 thousand hectares of forested area. Forests of the I-th group are 42.5 thousand hectares, of the II-th group – 35.4 thousand hectares. The average age of plantations is 66 years.
