A wonderful place on Liberty Island. We had a great time, a great impression and a desire to come back again and again. The reception welcomes you with a bar with an abundance of rum and delicious coffee. There are several restaurants, you will not be hungry, but the choice is not great and soups will not feed you, but a salad with pasta, that's please) They serve local, light beer, good, we liked it, as well as wines, here for an amateur. Well-groomed territory, palm trees all around (carefully, a coconut may fall) , greenery, a swimming pool with a bar and a barbecue area, there is also a barbecue area on the beach. The hotel has its own recreation area on the beach with umbrellas and sun beds, there is security. The Atlantic Ocean, gorgeous sand and delicious cocktails turn your vacation into a fairy tale.You can write a lot, in short, we had a great time and enjoyed our vacation. The star was removed for the rooms, it's time to update the repair, make cosmetics.

My family and I have only been at the hotel for a couple of days, but we already like everything. Very beautiful and well-maintained territory, quite large. Several bars, 2 a la carte restaurants, a small snack, even ice cream is provided. The food in the main restaurant is quite good, the staff is friendly and friendly, there is animation on the beach, not by the pool. They asked to change the number, they changed it without any problems. We will return here with pleasure.

Beautiful, comfortable territory, cool bar inside the pool. The beach is simply excellent (as far as I understand, this is the case throughout Varadero).

The territory is quite large and well maintained. There seems to be a gym, but there is a track, an ellipse and an exercise bike, apparently not working. There are no dumbbells or barbells.
Infrastructure - it is better to bring beach towels with you. With a rock plus, we managed to find them on the second day, without a rock plus, some did not see them the whole vacation. With a rock plus, it even turned out to change them a week later to "new" ones.
There is a drip coffee maker in the rooms, but there is no coffee, there are also no spoons, only glasses and cups.
Water is provided for 1.5 liters per room. You can always fill an empty bottle with water in any bar.
There are no toothpastes and brushes in the rooms, I'm not sure about shampoos, I don't think there was either.
It makes sense to take thermal mugs with you, cocktails, beer and water are poured into them in bars. It's very convenient on the beach.
The sea is excellent, the water is clean. At low tide, you can swim to the second can, there is generally azure and beauty.
Sand tends not to burn your feet even at noon.
The sand is pretty fucked up - gobies and plastic cups. They clean so-so. In my opinion, it's mostly Cubans who shit.
There are enough sun beds.
The contingent is 30% of ours, 30 Canadians, 30 Cubans, the rest are Germans, Poles and all sorts of others. Cubans come en masse for the weekend.
Alcohol - ice+rum+something to eat and beer (not a bad lager) cocktails are constantly available Sometimes there was dry wine, champagne.
Food is a horror. A buffet is available without a rock plus. Omelet in the morning, chicken legs, pork -lunch and evening.
It's the same with rock plus, but in a separate restaurant with air conditioning and serving. There are few vegetables, cheeses and local ham.
There were watermelons and mangoes.
In short, I would have brought something to chew with me, like doshiraks and crackers.
The coffee in the coffee bar is good.
Shops: there are souvenirs on site, not very diverse, but the price is the same as in Varadero and cheaper than at the airport.
There are cigarettes, local, from $ 3 per pack of Popular. There are cigars, the guide says, the price tag is quite good. Rum in the store to choose from, 20-30 euros.
Money: it is better to carry dollars, sometimes they recalculate prices in euros as 1.1 in dollars, but in most cases 1 to 1.

Well, let's take it in order. The hotel is great. The territory is ennobled, well-groomed and huge in size. Fountains, fish in canals, palm trees and various trees. Bars at every turn. The pool is large, but without heating. Places for snacks are well located on the territory.
The rooms are 3-4, but there is nothing to complain about. It's just that they've already lived and talked. There is not enough light in the rooms. The light bulbs are only in the form of sconces. Room cleaning is good, but the bed and towels are not changed without request. Shampoos, gels, soaps are available. All the information is not available.
Food is terrible. Chicken and rice. Cucumbers without taste, green tomatoes. Throw away salads, sauces as if someone had vomited. The cheese is delicious, the ham is good. No pasta, no potatoes. Desserts are always the same, but under different creams. The ice cream is great. Well, it's just sadness and longing. Take mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard with you. There is never any of this. There is never any seafood, except for white river fish)
The rum is gorgeous, the beer is delicious, it's better not to try the rest.
The staff is friendly. They love money, but Canadians beat us, they give $1 and above for everything in the world. They are adored. Therefore, I did not interfere and gave in))))
The beach is the best of all the neighboring 500 meters in both directions.

I am writing an objective review!
I'm not a whiner or a complainer. I travel a lot, there is something to compare it with. I want to write a review to help those who are planning their holidays here.
I'll start with the pros. The most beautiful turquoise ocean. Sand. There are no shells, jellyfish, or hedgehogs in the water. Special slippers are not needed. The sand is soft and does not heat up in the sun.
The weather in December and January is great. The sun is hot. Cool breeze in the evening. High!
That's where the advantages ended.
Now about the bad stuff. The hotel is level 3*, not higher. The old one. The Internet is bad. If you plan to work on the Internet during your trip, definitely not here. Wi-fi constantly crashes, reconnects for a very long time. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all.
Food. THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!
The dining room is dirty.
Cockroaches. There are no napkins on the tables, much less toothpicks. It's dirty. The level is the dining room of a boarding house in Anapa.
4* and it doesn't smell here. For breakfast, sausages, pancakes, green tomatoes (they're everywhere), cereal (but there are no cereal plates. People use disposable cups :)
Fried eggs / boiled eggs- nothing close.
Cheese - if you're lucky. They bring a plate, it immediately "flies away". Fruits are not sweet. They seem to be there, but of the worst quality. Apparently purchased at half price at the bazaar before closing).
To come all this way and not enjoy the fruits is a waste of money for me.
There is no coffee in the dining room itself. We need to take a walk, there's a coffee counter nearby. There are no cups (!) hot cappuccino is poured into disposable cups. Rough. For me personally, it's just a horror.
Lunch. Pasta, mashed potatoes, legumes, salads with cabbage, chicken, meat. Seafood is cotton wool. They're not delicious, but they're probably the cheapest. Again, I repeat: not 4* explicitly.
Let's move on.
Swimming pool. It's old and shabby.
The bottom coating should have been changed long ago. The tile is peeling.
Towels are generally a separate story. They give you a card, and you get towels by the pool. We got it. Let's go to the pool. After the rest, we gathered towels for ourselves and, as is customary everywhere in all hotels and countries, put them in the basket for dirty towels. And they went on their way. The next day, when we came for new towels, they showed us that we had not handed over the previous ones (!). We're trying to explain that we put them in the towel basket, but it won't work. I should have handed it over to my aunt personally. If you didn't hand it over personally, it means you stole (!)
A fine of $ 10 for a towel. It was a matter of principle for us. It's not about the $40 (we had 4 towels), but the fact that no one warned us what to hand over. The showdown at the reception did not lead to anything. We will not pay in principle.

The hotel is well maintained, although not new. You don't have to eat one meal at a time, but there is always chicken, meat, and sometimes fish. It is better to have lunch at the beach, there is a choice, and the first is better. There is usually a queue for an omelet for breakfast.Of course, they cook in a peculiar way, but you won't be hungry. 3 meals a day + sandwiches for an afternoon snack. Delicious rum, good beer, champagne. The beach is great. There is a dolphinarium nearby (15 min. walking) .I liked. All the information is on the website in the cart.

Wonderful location , the beach is within walking distance. The beach is gorgeous sandy, the entrance to the water is comfortable, sun beds. Now about the cons: even in the renovated buildings, everything is very tired, stains on furniture, bed linen with holes, already grayed. There are dirty dishes in the dining room, the food leaves much to be desired. The pool is dirty, I didn't even dare to swim in it, and it's unpleasant to be near the pool-the smell of chlorine hits my nose. The sun beds on the beach are also broken, bent. The attitude of the staff is twofold: everyone seems to be smiling, but everyone is waiting for a tip. The room is cleaned every day, but, again, the degree of tidiness depends on the tips or gifts left.

Vacationed at this hotel from mid-October 2023 to the end of October 2023. Very large and beautiful territory of the hotel, several gardeners are constantly working. The beach and the ocean are just incredibly awesome! I lived in building 5, room 502 - a nice, large and bright room, the plumbing is new and clean. The bed linen is clean, the room is cleaned every day. The towels were stained. I was not hungry for food, for lunch and dinner there was always fish, pork, beef, lamb, chicken in various types of cooking. But the Cuban cuisine is simply nothing, either everything is over-salted or under-salted. There are no spices at all. Of the fruits, small bananas, small pineapples and guava were very tasty. Watermelons are full of garbage, like red, black seeds, but watermelons don't taste like anything. Very often, plates that seem to be clean are actually dirty. Greasy, poorly washed. This is a huge minus. In the evening there is no normal alcohol in the bar, everything is drunk by the guests and sleep....but/stolen by bartenders. Bartenders are not shy of anyone and sell alcohol to hotel guests. Hotel guides Marta and Leah are not client-oriented at all, it seems to me they don't care if they take excursions from them or not. But all the disadvantages of the hotel are blocked by the ocean! He is incredibly beautiful and always different!

It is necessary to compare Cuban 4* with each other, without comparing them with Egyptian or Turkish ones. The motto of holidays in Cuba is "to understand, accept, forgive."
- the beach is good, the ocean is beautiful
- cocktails in the hotel bars are made in different ways depending on the bartender, probably.
- there is a shortage of beach towels, it is not possible to take them the first time
-the rooms are renovated, there are old ones (furniture like 3-4* in Cyprus, Greece). they settle everyone and everywhere, they didn't give anything when they settled in.
-the textiles are not white, the pillows are original, the mattresses are comfortable
- there were mosquitoes
- plates in the common dining room should be chosen)) a lot with leftovers from the previous meal
-there is a range of food, you won't stay hungry, but you don't have to wait for much either
- there is good coffee in the coffee bar, sometimes with spoons))

We stopped at the hotel on 06/15/2024, settled into a room at 1120, the room is large, but the cockroaches in it are huge!!! beach towels could be received only on the third day, the safe does not work, the master was called, they tried to fix it all day, as a result, they promised that tomorrow would work, but tomorrow came, and the safe, alas, does not work (((if you do not come to the table for dinner or lunch, then there is practically no food there is no remaining and very dirty dishes, but, of course, there are also advantages: it is a clean, beautiful, well-groomed, green area and a beautiful beach. We were from 19.12..23 to 30.12.23. We flew through Havana by Covias. Comfortable seating on the plane, the distance between the seats is sufficient, good hot meals (dinner, breakfast), juices, water is poured as much as necessary during the entire flight. The landings are excellent, both in Havana and in Moscow. Thanks to the pilots and flight attendants.
The hotel -- expected the best, still 4*. We arrived at 11 in the morning, waited for the room for about two hours, but we put on the bracelets right away, so we drank coffee, walked around the territory.
The territory of the hotel is beautiful, well maintained and has a great ocean, a large swimming pool, which was cold at that time. The sea was warmer than 26'. This is where all the advantages end.
The linen and towels in the rooms are terribly old. They asked to change it - it was useless, I had to accept it. Food for 3 ... there are few fish (they were given 3 times in 2 weeks). Everything is monotonous, a lot of rice of different colors (white, red, dark) meat - beef is not chewed at all, pork is delicious, chicken and lamb are rare. Green tomatoes, huge cucumbers. Of the fruits, watermelons (sometimes completely unripe - white,)pineapples are excellent (very sweet), papaya, guava - perhaps it is not the mango season.
Regarding alcohol... they pour without regret, but not always tasty, mostly swill. The beer is fine, but there is no wine or champagne. At lunch and dinner, they offer either water or beer. You have to go to a separate place for tea and coffee, they don't bring it to the restaurant.
Excellent food and wine were at dinner, on Christmas 24.12 (again, an additional fee was charged for it when buying the tour.)
In general, if you don't care what kind of linen to sleep on and what to eat, then you are here. And so we do NOT recommend the hotel, unless at a special price.

The area around is well maintained, there are no complaints. There are no beach towels, if I hadn't read the reviews and taken them with me, they would have just been lying on the sun beds. The sea and the beach are great, there are enough sun beds, considering that only Russians are on the beach, the rest hang out by the pool. And most importantly, the food!!! She's just disgusting. There is zero variety, from vegetables: cabbage, yellow carrots, orange carrots, green tomatoes (I don't understand why they should be plucked), just completely green. Omelet in the morning and pancakes every other day. And queues, queues, queues. Delicious ice cream, cocktails and coffee outside.

There are not even brushes in the toilets both on site and in the rooms, almost no one washes them there, there is no toilet paper almost constantly, because the staff steals. Plumbing is constantly leaking, no one repairs it, applications left for repairs at the reception are partially fulfilled and then with difficulty. The food is constantly monotonous, except for breakfast, in principle, it is not possible to eat, they just cook some kind of mess.There was no tea at all. In restaurants, water is poured and served from the tap. When the lights are turned off, which often happens, nothing works in the rooms, respectively. Wi-Fi catches whenever and wherever it wants, constantly flies, authorization is constantly needed. The air conditioners work every other time.It is not clear what to pay such money for, except for dancing and music there is nothing. It is impossible to drink alcohol in bars, just a mess, only beer more or less and soft drinks.Good alcohol happens only in the lobby bar and then in the morning, then the bartender sells everything for money. There is only a female toilet by the pool and that disgusting one, there is supposedly a male one, but it is constantly closed and does not work.

I am quite happy with the hotel, a large well-groomed territory, but initially I was settled in the 9th building, where the repair was battered and the outdoor units rattled very loudly under the window, after two days of waiting I was changed to a room where the repair is fresher and there is no noise of air conditioners. Twice in the morning the water was turned off, especially unpleasant on the day of departure, but the problem was solved at the reception. And the locks worked badly in both rooms, they just didn't open for 5 minutes. The food in the restaurant is monotonous and bland, there were not enough napkins and toothpicks. Animation is mainly evening dances of local ensembles, a disco for 1.5 hours at most to Cuban, not too rhythmic music. Russian music was coming from a nearby hotel. Practically no one danced. But that's not why we came here. The beach and the ocean are something indescribable. Van Love, as they say. We went on an excursion to Havana with a Russian-speaking guide (we took it from a local tour operator) on a retrovtomobile (a distance of 130 km), there is little history, otherwise everything is quite acceptable, the price is $ 200 for three, and for lunch you will definitely be taken to a basement-type restaurant where you will taste pina colada, incomprehensible soup (or salad), and lobster with rice, all this will cost 25 bucks. Would you come back to this hotel again? I think so.

In general, the room is very tired, the water from the shower periodically runs out, the smell of sewage if you close the door at night will be strong, one of the lamps near the bed did not work, the socket too. The sockets in the hotel match ours, no adapter is needed. There are few mosquitoes, keep in mind, their plug sticks vertically into the socket, I took fumitox with a mosquito repellent tablet, the tablet fell out, because it assumes a horizontal "plugging"

We always had lunch at the restaurant on El Galeon beach, with rice, chicken, beef, pork, and sometimes shrimp. Of the drinks, only beer. 1. There are no beach towels. We knew, we were taking our own, I saw people lying on naked sunbeds
2. During the first holidays, there were not enough sun beds, and next to the beach restaurant there was a stack of sun beds, according to the administrator, broken. Gentlemen, almost everything you do is broken or sagged in one way or another. This is done specifically so that people buy premium, I sat down on premium sunbeds and until beachboy found us 4 blue sunbeds next to us, I did not get up from the premium. I understand that this is not beautiful, but it was the only chance to get sun beds under an umbrella, and not burn in the 30 degree sun on the sand.
3. The Internet is constantly falling off, you have to go to the reception to ask to reconnect.
4. They asked to change our room, but at first they told us that all the suites were not renovated, but they offered to bring a 4th bed. Hooray for that. But they sent a letter to our travel agent that they couldn't find us, but they really wanted to relocate us. In short, the service at this hotel is very conditional, the girls at the reception are certainly trying, but the result is minimal.
5. We had 2 bottles of water in our room for 4 people, 0.5 each. Regardless of the tip. Take thermos cups with you, they pour both water and beer there
6. Room cleaning every day. The linen was not changed, the towels were changed. The first few days the towels were tired, then they brought new ones. They changed it every day. I didn't notice the difference in cleaning for money and sweets, so they left sweets
7. The dishes and cutlery in the dining room are dirty. Whole. I came with a napkin and antiseptic. Zilch zilch and I feel calm. Well, the cockroaches. Yes, they are in the rooms and in the dining room. They are noticeable every visit.
Conclusion. I found out everything about this hotel from reviews and from a telegram chat (search by the name of the hotel), so I was ready for anything. We chose based on our budget, so there were no surprises. Everything that is written in the reviews is true. Cuba is an amazing place where everyone will find what they are looking for. If you have experience of service in Turkey, Maldives... forget it, come to Cuba as if this is your first experience abroad.

Half of the bars on site don't have mint for mojitos :) The beach is big, clean and nice, the ocean is on fire, the restaurant by the beach is normal. There are many Spaniards, Canadians and Russians. The staff is quite friendly, there were a lot of concerts, all funny.

If you are standing in line for a bar, and a European or Canadian is next to you, then you can simply be ignored.. The plates in the restaurant may not be the cleanest. If you're clean, then you're definitely not here. There is enough food, you will not leave hungry. The room cleaning is good. The Spaniards are very friendly. The reception staff is very pleasant, they know a little Russian too)) the safe is paid - $ 2 per day. The Internet is available, it is included in the price of the hotel, but periodically you need to go to extend it.

The hotel is a disaster! I do not recommend it. The check-in was quick. But they also arrived at night. They didn't mention the invitation to dinner. In general, the Russian language is bad. The room, the grounds and the beach are gorgeous. The staff is friendly and obviously trying their best. That was the end of all the good things.
Cards: you will get to the room in one go. For some reason they are demagnetized. The second one doesn't work at all. Either one or the other. Safes are paid. They are all linked to the same card. I changed 15 pieces in a couple of weeks.
Now it's the darkest: the dining room/restaurant, the bottom is here! There is nothing to eat!!! Cabbage, green tomatoes and pumpkin. If you manage to stand in line and grab the meat, it's too early to rejoice, it will be raw or not chewable!!! They refer to the shortage, but they also do not want to cook from what they eat. A disgusting hotel. Search in other countries. It's not worth it!!!

It is nice, cozy, a beautiful beach and a magnificent sea. Traditional Cuban cordiality, bring chocolates, you will want to treat these lovely people yourself. Towels are cleaned and changed daily. The food apparently depends on the change of chefs, the first week is delicious, and the second seems to be the same, but not the same. They feed and pour without restrictions. The pool is normal, there are a lot of sun loungers.

I'm staying at this hotel. Everything is fine with the ocean, the beach, the hotel territory, the service, BUT there is trouble with the food, both with the assortment and with the quantity. Maybe there is a huge shortage of food in the Republic, since there are constant queues at the hotel's catering points. This is partly due to the fact that the staff puts food on the plates themselves (there is a definite plus: fewer uneaten foods remain on the plates), so you will have to go for 5 small pieces of papaya in one hand several times. I believe that such restaurant service is compliance with covid measures... Sometimes it's interesting to go to a restaurant to see what's new and delicious, but it's not here. I put a three exclusively for delicious fresh bread (which you need to earn by standing in line, and bread does not belong to other "yesterday's" pastries) and delicious mango juice.

We are resting now in this hotel. I am writing from a beautiful clean and very beautiful beach. The sea is very warm, it's a pleasure to swim.
The hotel grounds are large and very Green.
A large swimming pool.
Everything is fine.
The rooms are large and comfortable, although there is no closet, things can only be hung.
All rooms have balconies.
Relatively recent renovation.
The food is not very good, guava juice is delicious cocktails, of course, also according to the all inclusive system, not for the highest score.
But guys, we're not going on trips to eat and get drunk.
