In general, the market declined because it was focused on trading with our customers.
But there are still tea shops, one of which I heartily recommend. It is located near the entrance, a young man who speaks Russian very well is selling there, an elderly woman helps him.
A huge assortment of tea, any kind, with very pleasant prices, from 7 to 25 yuan per 100 grams. Loose tea can be packed in colorful bags, or in tin gift boxes.
The day before the trip to the Ritan, we were at a tea tasting, where the same varieties were sold for 260-300 yuan, so you can seriously save money.

Basically a normal hotel .We took a two - room suite .There are two bathrooms in the room , fruits were brought every day .Breakfast is also normal, there is even something European , for example: porridge, sausages, fried eggs , pastries , boiled coffee .The condition of the hotel is decent by Chinese standards.There is a shop with Russian products nearby.The hotel has a swimming pool.Considering that this is not a chain hotel, but a purely Chinese one, the staff tries to keep it in a more or less decent condition .

Of the advantages, only the location
I don't know why there are so many positive reviews. But we left after the first night, even though we were supposed to stay for 4.
Smoking is allowed in the rooms. The first room was changed because it was impossible to stay. There were problems in the second one too.
The sockets were not working. The air conditioner seemed to work, but in fact it didn't. My friends had cockroaches in the room, so I had to change it too.
The floor smells like a hospital.
The breakfast is terrible. There is no cheese. Sausages and beans are tasteless, the coffee is disgusting.
In short, don't stop! I do not recommend it at all.

Nice, cozy hotel,clean rooms,clean corridors and hall,soft bed.European breakfasts, a wide variety of dishes.On the ground floor there is a Russian restaurant, a Starbucks coffee shop.There is a currency exchange machine.
One disadvantage is that foreigners' cards do not pass, you have to pay in cash for accommodation in a Russian restaurant.

Very convenient location, in the very center of the "Russian" district. You will find Russian-speaking staff in almost all stores. Shopping malls, many cafes and restaurants. Near the Ritan Park, Soho district, the famous silk market. It's quiet and cozy in the evening.

A good hotel in the Russian district of Yabao Lu. Not a bad kitchen for breakfast. The rooms are well maintained, there is a TV, USB sockets. There is a Mango restaurant nearby, where there is a wide selection of menus.
The room cost around 7000 rubles per day (May 2019), but it's worth it. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the metro
