Beautiful ruins. The grandeur of the structures is visible. To understand what's left and what's left, it's better to use a schematic diagram for self-examination. It is a very informative place for lovers of history and antiquity.

The Roman Forum is the heart of ancient Rome, where every ruin preserves echoes of its former greatness. Once upon a time, life was in full swing here: senate meetings were held, triumphal processions were held and magnificent temples were built. Today, the Forum is an impressive open–air museum. Among the marble columns, arches and ruins of palaces, you can feel the breath of history. The view of the temple of Saturn, the Arch of Septimius Severus and the remains of the rostrum from which the great speakers addressed the people is especially fascinating. A walk through the Roman Forum is a journey through time that allows you to touch the glory of Ancient Rome and imagine what this great city was like in its heyday.

An architectural object with a history of several thousand years) a guide is required, he told a lot of interesting things, without him it's a pile of old stones. BUT, an unrealistic number of people, a lot of unpleasant merchants, not comfortable, dirty sooooo, garbage everywhere, no one cleans, the smell ...., the feeling that you are in ancient Rome, when everything was thrown out of the windows… In general, nothing has changed in three thousand years

Rome. July 2019. The heat is 40 degrees. Burnt faces. A lot of emotions! The Colosseum! The Roman Forum! The Triumphal Arch of Constantine. Sights of global importance!

I watch the program on Spas "Ladder", where the Roman forum is often shown and I remember how cool it was to walk there in August 2018)

Entrance is paid. The minimum ticket, including the Colosseum, is 12 euros. If desired, you can watch it without details, for free, walking around.

It is better to come here prepared, to read beforehand, so as not to run after a guide or wander through incomprehensible ruins kicking debris out of boredom.

Well... Ruins. Almost nothing has been preserved. If you want to see Roman buildings, it is better to go to Herculaneum.
