Hello, we stayed at the hotel from 13-16.09.24
The room is great, slippers, lots of towels (changed every day), the room is clean. Welcome liter bottle of water. Coffee -tea, kettle. If you want to change the bed linen, just leave a signal sheet (cardboard with an inscription in English and Turkish).
The staff is polite, helps to solve all our questions, the breakfast is excellent, for all habits, I really liked the moving toaster))) you can dry the bread to the degree you need.
I recommend the hotel, and the location is great! A street with a historic tram, many places of interest nearby, restaurants with delicious food, shops, everything is nearby!
A super hotel! Great location. The view from the window was on the Bosphorus. The room is cozy and spacious. Clear. There is a coffee machine in the room. Large shower room. Two sinks. We ordered a standard room. They improved it for us for free. And the breakfasts are just a delight 👍🏼
Positive:
- The location is perfect! Everything is close - the descent to the side with museums, all shops, restaurants and cafes, metro and tram.
- The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful
- The rooms are large and comfortable enough
- The room has all the amenities for comfort: Wi-Fi, kettle, hair dryer
- good shower room with toilet, modern renovation
cons:
- the numbers are outdated, some things need to be replaced
- breakfast is cold all the time, although we came early enough
The overall impression is excellent, the location + the price covers all the disadvantages!
Great hotel, super location. A very good view from the window of the city and the Bosphorus. The breakfasts are very tasty and of high quality. Friendly staff.
Great location,
The breakfasts are mediocre, the rooms are spacious and cozy, the only problem is the elevator! Of the two, only one works, which does not greatly please the hotel guests!
Room with a view of the Bosphorus. We agreed on booking and payment on the spot in correspondence by e-mail. Good but not great. Even when you hang the "remove the number" on the handle / press the button and the corresponding icon in front of the door lights up, they do not clean well. The floor covering between the shower and the bed is swollen and after the shower, stepping on these places, there is a "chomping" sound. Cleaning instructions: a bucket of water from the melted ice is also left in place. Yes, the linen was replaced, but the used cups, glasses, and appliances where they lay remained there. For two days in a row, a fire alarm went off throughout the hotel. Once at night, somewhere from 1 to 4, once at 6 in the morning. On May 1, the entire Istiklal Street was blocked off in the morning with fences, at every corner and inside cafes /restaurants there are crowds of police with special equipment. We left the hotel (the entrance and exit to the hotel are the only ones) and could barely return. The trade unions were preparing demonstrations that day and there were permitted places for this, and there were places where there were not. No one at the hotel warned about this on June or May 1 when leaving the hotel. 2/3 of the establishments are closed, the taxi (Uber) was able to get there only a couple of blocks away, some of the roads are also blocked. At the usual point of the yellow taxi, where there were usually 10 cars, not a single one. And on this day to the airport. Having familiarized ourselves with the situation at the reception, we ask (2 employees are on site, the time is about 11 days) What's going on in the streets of the city, where can I go when it's over? They spread their hands and pretended that they didn't know anything themselves. Despite all this, I can recommend staying in a room with a view.
The location is ideal for sightseeing in the city. Pedestrian street. The only hotel is right on the street. The rest are in the alleys and much simpler. There is something more decent nearby, but on parallel streets. If the noise is confusing, you can choose windows on the other side. Right next to the Russian embassy.
A very nice hotel with a convenient location. We had a rest in January 2024. The room was given on the second floor with Windows on Istiklal Street, they thought it would be noisy, but nothing was heard, it was comfortable to sleep. The hotel has very good, varied and delicious breakfasts. The staff is very polite and friendly, ready to help at any time.
It fully corresponds to the declared stars. We also took 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, since my daughter wants to live in a separate one. And if we had taken 1 large room, the experience would have been even better. The hair dryer is excellent, the bathroom accessories are complete! The mattress is super, the repair is on the level. I don't understand the people who wrote that the numbers are so-so, very decent! I recommend it!
Old rooms and floors
A fresh restaurant area with an assortment sufficient for 2-3 days of breakfast
Remote control in a bag)
Convenient location and entrance to the hotel directly from Istiklal, near the Russian consulate)
Public transport is nearby, for walking, shopping and sightseeing - the perfect location!
But overall the hotel is tired
I can say that the hotel is the most ordinary. The main advantage is the location, very close to the main attractions. Adjacent wall of the hotel with the Russian gen consulate)))))
The hotel is located on the famous Istiklal, the disadvantage is that water is provided only upon check-in, then you need to buy it daily. An ordinary hotel, the breakfasts are average, the price is a little overpriced due to the location, for the same money there are 5* hotels much better in Istanbul.
It is located on a central street that does not sleep. The room should be taken with Windows facing the courtyard. We got a room on the second floor with a view into a well with metal structures. The room with three beds is quite cramped. The glass door to the bathroom does not isolate sounds at all. The breakfast is normal, a lot of things. Indeed, the restaurant has a panoramic view of the Bosphorus. In sunny weather, the view is spoiled by not too clean windows.
