As I understood it, this is a family institution where everyone wants to eat, we were there on September 7, despite the cool weather, there were many people who wanted to sit inside, the institution is small, there are many tables and a beautiful landscape on the street. The service is fast, the prices are inexpensive.

A wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, it's hard to call them even waiters, rather hospitable hosts! And what a wonderful khachapuri they cook there!!! You'll lick your fingers! There is a picturesque corner in the courtyard where you can sit at a table in the shade of a shrub, next to a running mountain stream!!! The prices are the same in all cafes, even where the appearance is not presentable at all and the oilcloth is torn in a check on the tables ((( And here, you can get aesthetic pleasure from the delicious cuisine and hospitality of the hosts!!! Inside, 2 walls are covered with banknotes from different countries with wishes of happiness, love and good mood!!!

We ordered eggplant rolls, we did not try anything more bland and not tasty during this vacation, even we managed to spoil the salad (cucumbers were bitter, and since there is a huge portion of salad and it consists of tomatoes and cucumbers, we did not eat half of it, the kebab did not taste like meat was salty and in spices ... it was the last evening before departure and it was not delicious))
And the service leaves much to be desired, we left and the table was littered with food, the waiter did not ask the reason for not eating the food at all, shrugged his shoulders at my remark)))

It so happened that we got to Kazbek late, it was raining, it was already dark. The whole company was hungry. It was our first time in Georgia. We didn't understand at all how and where to get food. We stopped high up, there was no taxi number.

We took ajapsandal (pictured), veal and lamb kebab, beef stew in spicy tomato sauce (it was medium spicy, comfortable), tea. Everything was very tasty, we haven't eaten such a barbecue for a long time! Thank you for your hard work and dedication! We were very pleased.

The best cafe in Stepantsminda was vacationing in Georgia, I found this restaurant according to reviews and did not regret it: very tasty food, tastier than pork kebab I have never eaten in my life, delicious chacha, reasonable prices, friendly staff! The summer terrace was free, the weather was fine, but "they won't serve you on the street today, so you can't take dogs with you." Khachapuri was tried here only "traditional for Kazbegi", it is interesting, but I like the more classic options for Georgia more. The prices are pleasant (after Tbilisi).
