We have been eating in this cafe for several years, we are familiar with the owner Nikolai, but every year it gets worse and worse.... Prices have increased exactly 1.5 times this year, and the kitchen has deteriorated very much.. I ordered fish, they said to wait 20-30 minutes, 40 minutes pass and I asked when it would be ready.. it turns out NEVER, my portion was given to another table, and the cook doesn't want to cook another one for me either (after 40 minutes) they offer to order something else.. and if I hadn't asked, I would have sat on.. the mood was spoiled, we will never go there again, because there is nothing to do there.. No one goes there except the Russians.. It makes sense for Nikolai to think about it, last year he said that the staff was very disbanded, but this year it's terrible..

The service is good. The quality of the dishes is below average. The shrimp is fried dry, the portion of rice is very small. In a similar Russian restaurant "Verandah" the quality of the dishes is much better. The staff speaks English poorly, and they don't speak Russian at all. They speak Russian and English very well in the Veranda. Value for money... there's a big hole here. We definitely won't come here a second time.

We miss the homemade Russian cuisine... so definitely you are here. Heat.. The sun is scorching.. and I want okroshka so much.. then you definitely need to run here. Very tasty. A decent place, clean, beautiful, waiters.. as we are used to.. we are ready to provide full service. Prices.. very democratic. If someone from the company did not want Russian cuisine.. then there is Thai cuisine on the menu, Tom yam is probably the most delicious on the coast of Kata.. all guests are greeted with a compliment in the form of fruit slices.... very pleasant. Chekhov is something that will bring you back home.. and you will stay in Tae..

We reached Chekhov, the cafe is decent, everything is clean, cooked quickly, the portions are large and delicious. We took borscht, shurpa, tomato and basil soup, dumplings, cheburek, pizza. I liked everything, the price tag is above average. It's worth visiting for a change. A solid five!

A very extensive and varied menu with reasonable prices, there are classic hot dishes, pizza, and sushi! We tried the Ham and Cheese pizza, the amount of cheese was simply amazing - there is a lot of it!
We saw an advertisement for baking, including pies with different fillings - we will definitely order a try!

A very cool restaurant on Katya. I visited here for the first time back in 2021, and now I have flown back to Phuket and returned with pleasure! The quality has been maintained at the proper level! We come to Tai for the third year and every time we go to eat in Chekhov.
The menu is varied, there are sets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I was with my husband in Chekhov in April 2024 twice and both times I did not like it. The dishes are beautiful, but not tasty (greasy, heavy after them, I had to take pills). The first time they left 800 baht, the second time 1500 baht, they also left good tips - we did it in vain (we did not want to offend them, oh our delicacy). We came to Chekhov after reading the reviews. We will not go any more and I do not recommend it!!!
