Fall for the name. The hotel is declared 5 stars, but by European standards, the service and quality of the rooms can only be estimated at 3. Toilets and sinks are flowing, even cracked in some places, the room has been changed. The constant smell of sewage in the bathroom. Glass shower curtains leak from below, a puddle at the exit on the tile, on which the grout falls off in places. Ventilation in the bathrooms is not turned off, the hum is round the clock. Towels come across torn from the edges, with daily replacement. Duvet covers are not always used, they also wear synthetics, sparks from static in the dark are like a glow. Smoking in the rooms, smoke in the corridors, drags into the rooms. The carpets are burnt by cigarette butts. Iranians have been yelling since 5 in the morning like at home, as if there is no one around. The audibility in the rooms is very good. When the electricity goes out, the diesel generator starts, the exhaust is all on the stairs and in rooms above the 1st floor, the fumes are unbearable and last for a long time. The staff is not friendly, in the mood. Problems with the magnetic key, it is often demagnetized and you can get into the room only by recoding the card at the reception. There is no shoe spoon in the room. There are no umbrellas for guests. There are no maps of the city except in Azerbaijani, although it is difficult to call what they give a map.
Pros: breakfast included, buffet. There is a selection of souvenirs and local wines at the reception. There is a bar and a restaurant, room service, a mini-bar is constantly replenished. There is a spa, a swimming pool. It is possible to order transfers (the cost is 2.5 times more expensive than Uber select). We celebrated the 2019 meeting in Baku. We got a good room, and friends have windows directly into the neighboring building. The wall is at a distance of 1m. Otherwise, everything is fine. Tomorrow is a buffet. The city center by taxi is 100 rubles. A gym with two baths and a Jacuzzi. Only the Finnish sauna is poorly heated, and the benches in the hamam are cold).
