On 07.09.2019, in the evening at 22.30hours local time, I arrived in the country of Tunisia, at the REGENCY 4* hotel. They were greeted kindly at the reception and without much delay arranged arrival at the hotel and gave the keys to room 233 for accommodation. Well done. But when I went up to the second floor in a four-star hotel room, I was shocked by the condition of this room ((four-star hotel)!. The lighting did not work at the entrance, the strongest smell of a mixture of carbolic acid, chlorine and a pronounced corpse smell, by the way, I began to feel such a smell even on the approach to the room in the corridor 10-15 meters from the room. I repeat - the smell, and to be precise, this was the strongest cadaveric chemical mixture. It's like a stinking old morgue. In the room itself, there was only a TV case, namely the case, since there was not only a remote control, but also an outlet for it and a piece of wire dangled from it, and the toilet was working but dirty, in some curly black hair and soaked paper floating along with the hair. The word Purity is out of place there!. There was also a bed, covered with a blanket of dubious cleanliness and completely missing bed linen. There were two pillows with yellow streaks and smelly ones. (video). There was no refrigerator, there were no towels, there were no detergents, the air conditioner did not work - it was covered in cobwebs and dirt, the doors did not close - the locks were broken, wisps of dirty hair on the floor and all over the bathroom, hordes of flies everywhere night and day there is no rest from them. In the morning I went to their dining room for breakfast (they mistakenly call it a Restaurant), there were only boiled eggs in the dining room, but then they served oatmeal porridge, but they didn't give spoons and cups!, how to eat this porridge?. People were outraged and turned to the workers of the canteen, which is interesting, they left in silence and after a while returned also silently and without dishes, then there was nothing left for those who limited themselves to leaving this institution. There is also depressing dirt in the dining room!. And hordes of flies and cats!.having demanded that the administrators replace the number, I received consent to replace it, which turned out to be the case when I replaced it, I will write in the second article.
Part two (no less interesting). On 08.09.2019, in the morning, I refused to stay in room 233 at the reception and explained that I had videotaped the room for the reliability of my requirements. And in case of refusal to provide me with another room, I will be forced to contact a representative of the Coral tour operator on the issue of relocation from this hotel. The receptionist agreed with me and offered me room 310 and gave me a key for inspection. Upon inspection, the following was revealed: the room was not cleaned, like dirt everywhere, and the most important thing is the smell of mustiness and stench from unhealthy fumes (later I found out that the hotel is equipped with centralized air conditioning, the system of which practically does not work in the hot season!, the old equipment simply does not have enough power), and this The hotel is 4 Stars!. I refused such a number. I was asked to check into room 475, cleaning is also disgusting in this room, but due to the fact that the room is blown, there is no smell here. And that suited me and I agreed to check into this room. But later it turned out that it is located on the sunny side and during the day it is just hot in the room, and at night it is suffocating heat, since the air conditioner is buzzing and noisy, but there is zero sense. The administrator promised me two days to repair the air conditioner, but it turned out that this was also a hoax, since this condition is all over the hotel, the cooling system is centralized here, but it does not pull, so here is a 4-Star hotel for you!. People turn to the administration., they are promised to repair, they even come to the room to check the alleged master with a screwdriver and that's the end of it, And a separate song about drinking water!. I arrived at this hotel on 07.09.2019, at 22.30 hours, you can't bring water on the plane, as it turned out there was nowhere to take it at the hotel. I had to endure it until morning. And water is extremely necessary for me to take medicine, and all day I could not get the administration to give me drinking water. The administration sends to the bar, but the bar is refused and so far by the evening of 08.09.2019, I had to persistently demand water, then I was given one 1.5 liter bottle per day! I was without water for almost a day and suffered from dehydration, Just like today, at lunch I demanded water to my room to take medicines, and they brought two plastic cups to the table and ran away, and only in the late afternoon they managed to get two 0.5 liter bottles of water, and I only need to take one drug, at least a liter. This tour company organized a torture vacation for me. And in another way, the actions of the tour operator are called Fraud!. They promised - they took the money - I'm there at least stones from the sky!.
Due to the fact that the declared hotel does not even correspond to a 1* hotel, the living conditions are depressing, dirt, stench, there is practically no food, and it is impossible to eat, it is not clear who will eat the food faster, you or the flies, I was forced to request a replacement hotel. For the replacement of the hotel, local agents asked for almost another cost of the tour. I was forced to search on my own and move to another hotel on my own.

You can eat, but it's disgusting to be there because of dirty floors, tables, dishes. The room stock is outdated and needs to be updated. There is a mess on the beach, the sun beds are broken, the mattresses are old. In general, either the hotel administration does not want anyone to invest money in the renovation of the hotel, or there is simply no money. I wish this hotel to find a good manager who will work to increase the rating of the hotel, not to decrease it. And I wish people who may read this review to choose another hotel, let it be better to be more expensive. Okay, I think I'll get over it, but over time, the film leaked. By the way, as the guide was told, we got a new hose on the same day! Next, there is one sweetheart working in the room! 5 are provided! Okay, I think I'll get over it. The door to the closet does not close, you can also survive.

In general, all rooms have problems: some with a hairdryer, some with a toilet, some with air conditioning, etc. There were those who changed to another hotel. But I can survive all this more or less. but!! COCKROACHES in the bathroom! It finally finished me off. I wrote to the travel agency so that she would keep in mind and not send tourists here, but, thank her very much, she went ahead and wrote a complaint about the hotel. So the next day we were given another room with a sea view on the 4th floor. I understand they have it like a suite. But there are also minor problems there.
The hotel grounds are green, but the poor palm trees are all dried up. In general, the hotel is abandoned, there is no sensible owner. Everything is in decline. It can be seen that there used to be a good hotel, but it was abandoned, they are squeezing out all the juices.

I also want to add about an excursion to the Sahara, my subjective opinion is that this money is not worth it. If I had been warned right away that I would spend two days on the road, I would not have gone. Be ready for this! You will be driving all the time! With stops, but still! They don't give much time for the excursions themselves, just to take a quick photo.
