I remember, according to the film "Brest Fortress", the fascists tried to use it to get to the Kholm Gate, the Brest fortress. From the side of the bridge, looking at these gates, one can imagine what fierce attacks our heroes- veterans, soldiers of the Red Army, fought off on June 22, 1941.
