Very nice hotel! It's clean, cozy, and the rooms are spacious. The breakfasts are delicious in the morning, especially the cheeses 🤤
The hotel owner speaks Russian very well, which is good in another country. We checked in late, almost at 11 p.m. - they were waiting for us anyway, thank you very much :)
The area itself is not very good (not in the sense that it is dysfunctional - there are just a lot of cars on the streets, a lot of shops, it's dirty), but it's quiet under the windows (the hotel building is located on a quiet street), No one is being violent. Even the cats didn't scream. To get to the tram, you had to go uphill, well, there's nothing you can do about it. But in general, the location is still good, close to the center, you can take the tram across the bridge. It is also a 10-15-minute walk (not uphill) to the Marmaray Metro line, which provides access to the Asian part of Istanbul.
Thanks to the hotel staff, in many ways the rest was a success thanks to them :)

A clean, cozy hotel, nice, fresh, normal breakfasts.
There is a conder in the room, refrigerator, water, kettle, tea and coffee. Spacious bathroom with all the necessary things) everything is like in a Turkish 5*.
You can book directly - the room in the hotel card is real, the owner is OK in Russian!
The surrounding area is not very good, but it didn't bother us, it has its own Istanbul identity) We lived on the ground floor, I advise you above. Cats like to scream. You can view the scenic views in Google maps.
We were satisfied with the choice. Nearby attractions, metro, sea, delicious inexpensive canteen and currency exchange with rubles and a good exchange rate)
The photos on the website are real. I attach a dining room and dinner for 700 rubles))

The best hotel in terms of price-quality ratio! Not far from the historical center, Sultanahmet Square is an 18-minute walk away, T1 tram is 10 minutes away, the Marmara Sea embankment is 15 minutes away (it is lined with huge pieces of marble - very cool). It is better to book directly, there are contacts in Yandex. The owner of Adem will arrange a transfer, meet, conduct, answer questions. The room has a TV, refrigerator, kettle, coffee, tea, welcome water, sweets. For breakfast, boiled eggs, several salads, vegetables, cheeses, several types of sausage, bread, rolls, jams, nuts, fruits, cereals, milk, tea, coffee from a drip coffee maker. They asked for a corkscrew, a plate, and cutlery in the room - they provided it without any problems.
Positive:
- price;
- perfect bed linen and a good mattress;
- complete cleanliness;
- a decent host.
I definitely recommend the hotel!

We stayed at the hotel in January. There are no words to express my gratitude to Adem and the staff, thank you so much! Clean, tasty, cozy and safe. A huge plus is that Adem speaks excellent Russian, believe me, it is very important in another country. Adem helped me change money, set a route to the right places, choose where to eat, and many more necessary little things. The hotel is very clean and cozy, there is everything you need. We felt like we were visiting friends. You could ask for any question and get help.
The hotel is located in a stunning area for those who want to visit all the sights on foot, as well as transport, the coastline, shops, cafes and more. Special thanks for arranging the transfer to the airport!

A great hotel for your money, the only small disadvantage is that the breakfasts are not varied, but you will not leave hungry. The location is great and the metro, tram and attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is clean and cozy, there is everything you need, the hotel owner meets you at the reception, is a good-natured and helpful person, speaks good Russian, helps with any question, organizes a transfer from the airport upon request, at the time of our stay, this service cost 37 euros. It was our first time in Istanbul, and we spent a week with our family.
When choosing a hotel, one of the main criteria was the Russian-speaking staff and proximity to the main attractions.
Now, on the shelves:
The staff - the owner of the hotel, Mr. Adem, is not only a great businessman, but also a human being! Always in a great mood, hospitable, helpful, helpful, and all with a heart! Other hotel staff are also polite and welcoming. ☺️
Location - at first glance, it may seem that the area is dysfunctional, BUT it's not like that at all, we returned in the evenings - no problems, it's 100% safe, the locals are just as friendly. There are shops, canteens/cafes/restaurants, exchange points, transport interchanges within walking distance - you just need to walk once, get acquainted with the area and everything will be OK.
Breakfast - there are also no complaints, every morning from 8-10:00 according to the buffet system you will have more than a sufficient set of products for a Turkish breakfast. Everything is fresh and delicious, you just need to collect a set of your preferred products.
Room - we lived in a triple room, both in the room and in the hotel, cleanliness is maintained at the proper level! At your disposal will be a kettle, refrigerator, tea set, hairdryer, air conditioning, fresh bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi. An important advantage for Turkey in winter is the warmth in the rooms and the constant supply of hot water.
In general, feel free to choose a hotel and you won't regret anything.
If we decide to settle in the central part of Istanbul again, the choice will be obvious.

This is a great little hotel. The location is great, with the metro on one side and the tram on the other. All the sights are nearby. Delicious canteens and restaurants. It's a wonderful place. The staff is very friendly, the owner speaks Russian. It will help you with any question, orient you if necessary. The room is clean and cozy. We were in a room for 3 people, there was enough space. Standard breakfasts, tea/coffee, cheeses, sausages, eggs, salads. We didn't stay hungry. The location is convenient. The metro is 10-15 minutes away, there is a bus and tram stop nearby. We walked to the center of the old town, about 20 minutes, but the climb is uphill. The impressions were very positive, we can safely recommend this place.

A cozy, quiet and clean hotel. Convenient location, ten minutes on foot from the Yenikapi metro transfer station, it was easy to find. We arrived early in the morning, much earlier than check-in time, but we were immediately checked into our rooms and given breakfast, which was very useful after a tiring overnight flight. The beds are very comfortable, the mattresses are large and moderately hard, and after long walks you need the most to relax. The staff is friendly, they keep order and quiet. The owner of the hotel speaks excellent Russian and helped us when we needed to make a phone call and talk about our issue in Turkish. You can order a transfer car through it, and the price may be better than the price directly from the transfer agency in the city. I liked everything very much. Best recommendations!

Good afternoon! I was lucky enough to visit Istanbul recently, and the Ramparts Hotel was chosen for my vacation. The incredibly convenient location of the hotel, in the very historical center, all the main attractions of the Sofia Temple, the Grand Bazaar, within walking distance of 10-15 minutes. Very tasty breakfasts, cozy and sweet room, with a view of the Armenian Church. We really enjoyed it, we will definitely come back, and definitely to Adam.

We stayed with my husband at the Ramparts Hotel from 02/23/2025-02/27/2025. It took me a long time to choose, since it was my first time in Istanbul.I believed the good reviews and made the right choice.
The staff is polite and friendly, the owner Adem speaks Russian well and can help with anything that you do not need to contact him. I wrote in detail how to get from the airport by metro to the hotel.
The hotel is very clean, the mattresses are very comfortable. Our room was large with a view of the ancient Armenian church. The room has everything you need. The breakfasts are good, traditionally Turkish.

Excellent combination of price and quality. Advantages: CLEANLINESS. The hotel is no longer new, but the cleanliness is perfect everywhere, the friendly host.

We were together from April 16 to April 20, 2025 at the hotel. Booked via WA. We took accommodation with breakfast. So they didn't find any more delicious food in Istanbul. Simple, healthy, fresh food. Thanks to the breakfasts, the day started off great. You want to walk around the hotel in slippers, just like at home. It's as clean as if we were visiting. Simply the best hotel with its price range. It is very clean, the linen is fresh, there is a kettle and a refrigerator in the room. Delicious breakfasts. The very hospitable hosts of the hotel will always help in any way they can. 10 minutes from the hotel there is a good embankment along the Marmara Sea, it is easy to walk to historical attractions, but if you are lazy, the train will come to the rescue. 2-3 stations and you are on the spot. Unlike other numerous hotels in the area, this hotel is located at some distance from the noisy torogov streets closer to the Marmara Sea, which is valuable, in our opinion. Just a 10-minute walk from the hotel there is a small spot for swimming. It is enough to go over the elevated crossing over the highway to the city park from the embankment. I was on vacation with my son, I really liked the hotel, especially the Russian-speaking hosts welcomed me as a guest, at home. They gave us very tasty breakfasts, and we ate enough for the whole day)

I recommend RAMPARTS HOTEL.
The hotel is located in the Fatiha area with a very convenient location! Sultan Ahmed Square is 10 - 15 minutes away, Marmaray - B1 (Halkalı – Gebze) Yeni Kapy Station (M2 Yenikapı-Seyrantepe-Hacıosman Metro) and (M1A Yenikapı-Atatürk Havalimanı Metro) is 10 - 15 minutes away, IDO Sea Bus (Bursa, Yalovo, etc.) is a 10-minute walk away. The BN1 bus stop(HALKALI - EMINÖNÜ) is five minutes away. The U3 train (Sirkeci – Kazlıçeşme) is 5 minutes from Kumkapi Station.
The historic Fish restaurants of Kumkapi are a 5-10-minute walk away.
The hotel is family-run. Clean, cozy. The buffet breakfast is very hearty.

We stayed at the hotel twice for 3 and 1 days. The photo and description on the website are 100% true to reality. The cost of living is adequate. The most important thing is the excellent attitude towards the guests. The owner and his family are Russian speakers, help with any issue, go to a meeting according to all wishes. They suggested where it would be better to have dinner in nearby cafes, where it would be more profitable to change money, how to get there. The breakfast is varied, everything is very tasty, the products are fresh, everything is from the heart. The beds are comfortable, the linen is clean, the plumbing is in excellent condition, the water pressure, drain, air conditioning - everything is fine.
