We were also moved from another hotel to the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham istanbul...
I don't know how it would be in another hotel, but this hotel is excellent, sawn geographically in the center of the old city, next to the Suleymaniye Mosque in 3-5 minutes walk, 2 minutes by metro. Restaurants and cafes next to Russian speakers and even the menu below is signed with dishes in Russian. There is a cool large swimming pool, a hammam and a sauna. We only took breakfast (as we were on walks and excursions the rest of the time) for a buffet breakfast, there are a lot of different delicious things. The hotel staff is very friendly, always smiling, will help and prompt. The view from the window looked out through the mesh window at the mosque beautifully, we could hear the Azan, but we liked it)
We are currently staying at this hotel. Initially, we flew to another hotel, but on the spot it turned out that we had no reservation! Before we could panic, the receiving operator informed us that we were being moved to a 5-star Ramada, although we had bought 4*.
We settled in quickly, the rooms are comfortable and clean! There was bottled water in the room every day.Tea and coffee bags. The third towel was brought without any problems. On the day when it was raining, they turned on the air conditioner with warm air and brought a blanket. Such care is pleasant! There were bathroom kits, except for brushes. But I always take mine, so there are no complaints. Breakfast is standard for Turkey-vegetables, fruits, leaves, cheese, eggs, olives, pastries, etc. everything was fresh and delicious.
The view from the window interested us the least, we did not come to sit in the room. There was a view of the parking lot, but it was better than a busy one
The street. The call to prayer is almost inaudible.at 5 a.m., he did not disturb my light sleep.
Some people were confused by the foyer-it was not solemn enough)). We came to see Istanbul, not to sit in the lobby)). Therefore, everything was fine too. Umbrellas were given out in the rain without any problems.
So I'm giving the hotel a solid 4.
Thank you for your hospitality.
We had to check into the hotel, into previously booked rooms, and arrived at the hotel. The reception staff behaves as if they have come to their home)The previously announced rooms were not provided, instead they showed small rooms that I had not even seen before, at the request of our guide, to replace the rooms, the staff reacted negatively, were rude, rude, made a terrible scandal, eventually moved us to another hotel.
The staff, conditions and cleanliness at the Ramadan Hotel were very disappointing.
In ten years of staying in Turkey, this is the first time we have encountered this.
