In general, I recommend it.
Positive:
- The staff. He speaks Russian and English. Everyone is friendly. If something was needed, they always helped.
- Breakfast. Without much variety, But there is sausage, olives, delicious cheese, simite, milk, etc.
- cleaning. Every day they took out the garbage, added shampoos and cleaned minimally (they did not hang a sign on the door). At the same time, we somehow managed to do this in the 10-14 window while we were in the city. A really generous set of supplies, including a toothbrush and a razor. Bed linen was changed every 2 days.
- the number. We had a duplex with a bed on the second level, a neat, pleasant room. There is a refrigerator (without freezer), a table and an ottoman on the first level.
- cooler at the reception. You can always get clean water before going out into your container.
Cons:
- conditional location. It is convenient to get to Istiklal on foot, to buses across the street, to the tram is no longer very much. That is, you will need to walk a little bit to the center.
- the number. The window is on the adjacent facade, the blinds are closed. There was almost no light, there was no point even talking about the view.
Our air conditioner specifically, even in the 16 degree mode, blew a little colder than room temperature. It was hot on the second level of the room.
There wasn't much room, we only had backpacks, but there would have been nowhere for hard bags to stand. But it wasn't crowded.
Comparison based on living in 3 hotels of the same price for this holiday. I definitely recommend this one.
A normal hotel in the city center, 2 minutes from the famous Istiklal. We had a clean 2-room room on the 5th floor. Despite the busy place (bars, pubs, clubs), the room itself is quiet and easy to sleep (the air conditioner works properly as well as the Internet). There are shower accessories, slippers, towels in the room. The contingent is mostly Russian. Breakfasts are included (meager but nice). The staff is Russian-speaking, very friendly and helpful. We are always ready to help. Rustam and the guys, thank you so much for your hospitality. Of the disadvantages, only the dirt on the streets next to the hotel, but this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. For Istanbul, this is a very good option to spend the night or sit out the heat.
If you could put 1,000,000 stars, I would. We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks in a double room. This is just a super hotel, we really liked it. Modern interior, clean, delicious fresh breakfasts, smells delicious.
Administrators Agif and Rustam speak excellent Russian. Also, the administrators are responsive and help with any question, and generally very positive guys. The number corresponds to the photo. Wi-Fi works well. The hotel has an elevator. It's a little noisy at night, if you're a lover of silence, I recommend taking earplugs, but the noise from the street didn't cause us any problems.
Close to Taksim metro station, easy to reach anywhere in the city. There is also a Shok supermarket within walking distance, Vyshlyal Street. Also nearby is a wonderful Espresso Lab coffee shop and a shop with delicious local shawarma Tantuni Land.
A separate love is the kitty Yusun, who lives in a hotel, especially cute when she stomps after you for breakfast.
In general, the hotel is a heartbreak, everything is like at home. We send greetings to Agif and Rustam, we wish you and your kitty health and well-being.
For a tourist who doesn't need Michelin stars. Everything is clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Clean rooms are not big, the location is super, everything is within walking distance. Breakfasts are not big sausage, eggs, vegetables, butter, cheese, tea, coffee. That's more than enough. Everything you need to relax is there!!!!
The hotel is not bad, in an old building, with an old elevator, working well, the staff is friendly, clean, change towels daily, but all the advantages of the hotel disappear because of the nightclub on the street.Music blares from evening to 5 a.m. on weekdays, on weekends until 7 a.m.If it doesn't scare you, check in.Personally, I didn't sleep all 4 nights while I lived there and it's a nightmare!
My son and I really liked the hotel, it was cozy, not noisy, quite clean. A cute cat lives with them. Nice friendly staff, some in Russian. We liked everything! I'll be back again ❤
The staff speaks Russian, the guys at the reception are responsive and helpful. It is a great relief for the guests who unsuccessfully tried to find out the way to the Rafinn Hotel from the Istanbul residents. Almost none of the locals speak English. Our triple room resembled a compartment of a second-class carriage in size and degree of convenience. On the lower level, it was difficult for the three guests to disperse, and someone had to sit down on the couch to let others pass. A steep staircase made of chipboard led to the second "floor". There was only a double bed. And nothing else! The window overlooked the "zone" from the movie Stalker. Perhaps double and single rooms are more spacious and more comfortable
A very nice hotel. The staff speaks Russian. The owners are Azeirbajans. If there are any problems, the staff is very responsive. I had a problem, I had to stay 1 day later. I paid 41 euros per night and the staff allowed me to stay in my room, despite the fact that the room was already booked later. In addition, they gave me a free breakfast on the last day. They did a very human thing. I highly recommend it. The only drawback is that there is a busy street nearby, where there are a lot of bars and nightclubs, music plays at night. But because I was very tired, it didn't stop me from falling asleep.

Cozy, clean, close to the center, excellent staff, which is convenient for most guests -Russian-speaking. An adequate price tag, the admin guys help and prompt in everything, the breakfasts are quite hearty, there are all the necessary amenities. The only jamb for me, - 1 of the nights I heard a nightclub very well, not music, but purely a beat, tic-tac)))) I got a little cold, it really prevented me from sleeping. If I'm still in Istanbul, I'll probably stay there, but I'll ask for a quieter room. And in general, I highly recommend it
Cozy, great location, attentive and friendly staff, good breakfasts. There is no view from the window and the breakfast was sometimes crowded, but we liked it
We arrived in November 2023. Overall, I liked the hotel. We were settled by a Russian-speaking administrator (one yes, the second no), we were settled early and without additional payment, it was very pleasant. Clean, the room is quite nice, there are interesting interior elements, a spacious bathroom, an excellent soft bed, clean linen, comfortable bedside lamps, as well as light switches near the bed. We also left later than the scheduled hour, allowed, free of charge. The room had a refrigerator (weak) and a safe. Tea/coffee, sugar, mugs; disposable slippers, hygiene kits.
There were also important drawbacks: the room turned out to be very small, smaller than stated and expected (when booking, there were photos of both our room and a more spacious one - a lottery). The street refused to be very lively, cars are constantly honking, there are parties at night, music, and poor sound insulation, sometimes they slept in earplugs. Although beautiful and colorful, but very uncomfortable windows, heavy and not put on ventilation. The view from the window is unsightly (a half-demolished house, another abandoned and hung with burlap), opposite the window of another hotel, but it was interesting to watch the vibrant life of Istanbul.
In general, the price-quality ratio is normal. However, it is noisy, because there is either a nightclub nearby, or some other entertainment venue. Upon arrival, the room is relatively clean, but during your stay there they are not cleaned, either on request or without. The breakfasts are monotonous: tomatoes, cucumbers, cheeses, sausage, semites, boiled eggs, tea/coffee. Among the advantages: near Taksim Square, metro station. In the evenings, the area looks dangerous, we do not recommend walking. The staff is nice and helpful. One of the administrators speaks Russian.
The location is close to Taksim Square where the bus from IST airport arrives.
Our room 11 is tiny, but it overlooks the courtyard, greatly reduces the noise from Balo Street, on which the hotel stands.
The windows in the hotel are American-style and very noisy, so lovers of perfect silence will have a hard time.
The hotel has a Russian-speaking administrator. He is a very friendly and sociable guy.
And in the hotel you can buy a 7-day ticket with 15 gigs for 800 liras, but roaming on MTS cost me 400 rubles / day and 1GB of traffic is enough for a day.
Also, in case of emergency, you can change the currency at the hotel, but not much because they keep a little money at the hotel. Anyway, you need to check with them.
There is breakfast, but it is very meager.
I got a star for being noisy. Suddenly the windows will be changed faster😁
Think a hundred times before booking this hotel
The rooms are clean, kosm.sets, tea, coffee, slippers, standard breakfasts. Everything seems to be fine, but the gum from the street will not let you get a good night 's sleep . Drunks; motorcyclists, music. You won't be able to sleep at night
A little tired, but still a decent hotel. We were on the top floor, like in room 19 with two rooms.
Of the advantages:
- location of the hotel,
- the ability to pay simply by transfer or SBP.
- they speak Russian, if English is suddenly missing from the vocabulary. (More often, of course, this is a minus, because they understand our conversations at TCH.)
- very polite staff, except for the girl at breakfast.
- good and fast Wi-Fi
Of the cons:
- very poor breakfasts, it is impossible to feel the Turkish hospitality and variety of Turkish food, especially for breakfast.
- there is a slight smell of sewage in the toilet at times.
For the same price, on the last day we rented a hotel within a 5-minute walk, breakfast and a variety of choices are much better.
The photo on the site does not correspond to reality.
We booked a double room for 2 rooms and 1 child.
And upon arrival, we were checked into a micro room... the bed is under the ceiling, and there is a sofa on the lower tier of the room. The three of them can't turn around there.
They began to ask questions to the administrator. He says that when booking, it was necessary to specify the word standard.
That is, when booking, the hotel staff itself does not really care how comfortable the guests will feel in their hotel. And they don't even try to tell me.... but they just send a confirmation for the reservation and that's it.
They began to ask us to change the room with an additional payment to the one that is larger. He assured us that there are no available rooms.
But during our entire stay, we saw only 3-4 people there. And there was always absolute silence.
The only plus is the location of the hotel, all the hangouts, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The rest is all so-so.

I evaluated the price and quality, then 5 points.
The hotel is located 50 meters from the Kremlin. Small but clean and tidy. Rooms of 10 sq. m. It is convenient for two people to come and relax, but it will be a little cramped with children. There is a window, but with a view of the neighboring house, at first it upset, but by the morning they realized that it was fine, since it was only by five in the morning that the Istiklal calms down.
The bed and pillows are just super clean and comfortable. This is quite important for a good holiday in Istanbul.
Breakfast is meager, but not critical, there is an inexpensive cafe nearby.
We booked it for two days at first, looked around and extended it for another five.
I recommend.
The location is great, the staff is helpful and pleasant. The room is clean. But three times we didn't get a room, but a shoe box. For two, the next room turned out to be much better.
