Beautiful, cozy. In the room : bathrobes, slippers, and all accessories.
Towels and bed linen were changed daily. The breakfasts are good.
Location 1 min to Termini train station, everything is almost nearby, to the Colosseum or Trevi fountain 30 min walk.
Nobody knows Russian.
The room is tiny, with a curtain-covered elderly life, there is no curtain in the shower, everything is pouring on the floor, although there is a drain, but getting up on wet tiles is dangerous, how to find your room is a separate quest)
Not a bad hotel in the city center. The location is good - on quiet streets, but very close to the railway station. Friendly staff (just smile, gentlemen, more smiles and people will reach out to you). Good European breakfasts. Cleanly. The interiors are classic European. In general, the impression is not bad.
Due to the number of stars (4), the tourist fee is 6 euros per person, but in fact the hotel level does not correspond to this number of stars. Very poor sound insulation in the rooms, you could hear everything that was happening in the corridor, but the worst thing is that you can hear everything that is happening in the neighboring rooms (when someone showered in the shower in the next room, it feels like they are washing in your room). Breakfasts are extremely scarce and absolutely nothing changes from day to day. At the reception, I had to beg to provide scales in order to weigh the bag, as it turned out, not everyone at the reception knows whether they have scales or not (but they were, eventually found). I'm not even talking about the fact that the rooms are very small, the double bed consists of two beds (you can fall between the beds) and it's very cold in the rooms. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone - it is better to take a 3-star hotel nearby where the tax is less and there are no problems listed above.
The second hotel was Archimedes. It was located in the center of Rome. The room is better than in the first hotel. But there is no curtain in the bathroom. And if you turn on the shower, there will be water everywhere. The beauty of the hotel is being in the center. You can get to any attraction that is indicated on the map both on foot and by metro. To buy tickets, you need to go either to the shops where they sell newspapers and magazines, or you can buy them in the subway through vending machines. I really liked the pizza, pasta, tried it in different regions / very tasty. But most of all I was impressed by the ice cream, it is very tasty in Italy!
On the fourth floor. The room is clean and warm. Everything worked. Cons; there is no curtain in the bathroom, shampoo was not always reported, snacks were not promptly served for breakfast, it was necessary to wait.
It does not pull at four stars in any way. Small rooms. A meager breakfast. The bathroom and bathroom are cramped. There are no shower curtains. The air conditioner is constantly breaking down. The staff is unfriendly and most importantly THIEVES!
No iron, no shower curtain, dust. And in general, it is generally worn out, there is no water on the table in the room, a meager shower set. The staff is not too interested.
It clearly does not pull at 4 stars. The furniture is old, there are no slippers, a kettle and glasses too. Breakfast is meager, there are no eggs and porridge.
