Going to Cappadocia, we ordered a hot air balloon flight for two through QX Travel. There is an "Impressions" section on Airbnb, so we booked it, made an advance payment of $ 100. A representative of QX Travel contacted us, confirmed the booking and the possibility of cancellation at any time with a refund. In the evening before the expected departure, the agency representative did not write to us. We were the first to ask him about the flight, he confirmed the departure and said that we would be picked up from the hotel at 4:30 in the morning. We waited 40 minutes, other guests were picked up from the hotel by transfers to the balls, no one came to pick us up. The night porter of the hotel put everyone on transfers. Concerned that we were not being picked up, he called the QX Travel office. He was told that there were no bookings for today. As a result, the flight of the balloons was canceled at the last moment before departure. They have already begun to inflate, but the flight was canceled due to strong winds around half past five in the morning. No one knew that there would be no flight. We just weren't picked up from the hotel. The next day, we went to the QX Travel office in Goreme and talked with the company's agent there. They told us there that they had not come to pick us up because the flights were canceled and that we could refund the money through Airbnb at any time, and that there would be no flights tomorrow. By the way, they were there, but no one came to pick us up again. Since then, the seventh day has passed, Airbnb is considering our complaint, QxTravel has not been in touch. There are too many strange moments in this story to be blamed on coincidence.
