Great hotel. A comfortable house, warm and with a beautiful panorama. It is not very convenient with breakfast, as it is brought in a box. But it's not too burdensome. Nearby is the Medeu skating rink and the Cimbulac cable car. It's very comfortable for a few days' rest.
The worst experience in Kazakhstan!
It's just awful!
We booked a sauna in advance. They said that a full prepayment is needed, as the bathhouse is prepared in 8 hours. We arrived at the appointed time, the sauna is not ready. It was just turned on. They told me to wait an hour, but nothing really changed in an hour. The sauna is also barely warm. There is no service, no one cares. They make it clear at the hotel desk that they won't be dealing with us. Some employee who came to the bathroom said that there was still tea, but in fact there was not even tea. The poster is even without water and turned off, it takes half an hour to warm it. There is no tea at all.
Complete horror.
The price of 50,000 for 2 hours is above average, but there is simply no service!
In an hour and a half, no one solved the problem. We already have to get ready for the airport, so the baths didn't work out. By the way, this is not a sauna, as it was stated, but a sauna. Avoid this horror!
And so, let's start with the pros.
The location of the hotel, individual houses and a view from the window.
That's where the advantages end.
Since we have something to compare it with, last year we rested in Tenir, we compare it.
There is practically no service, breakfast and food delivery from the restaurant, by the way, for money (to carry food 100 meters, the restaurant is located on the territory of the hotel. The cost of the service is 5 thousand tenge), it does not count.
We arrived, the young man at the reception gave us room cards, offered to choose tomorrow, but did not warn that we could choose only one position for each, as a result, the young man only with porridge, and I with a croissant, but about breakfast later. Next, saying go to the houses, I'm catching up with you, I'm gone. We found the house ourselves, we also figured out the sauna ourselves, no one explained anything to us, but we should have.
There is a meager mini-bar, 2 bottles of water (1 with gas, the other without) for 2 guests and to drink coffee/tea. I was also upset by the lack of a table, I had to eat on the bedside table.
There is a separate story with the restaurant on site. It's cute, national, but very crowded. The hostess offered to wait about half an hour, but we decided to take the food with us, which turned out to be a failure too: there were no available waiters. That's why we had to contact the hotel staff and their "room service", the service includes ordering food and delivering it to the room, the cost is 5 thousand rubles. We could have kept a couple of tables for hotel guests, since the restaurant and the hotel are located on the same territory.
About breakfast. They brought us one croissant with salmon and avocado, in which the salmon was cut with a laser, so that it was impossible to feel it, and the avocado turned out to be some kind of sauce, rarely smeared on the croissant itself. There were no berries in the porridge with bananas and berries, but there was a fruit salad, the porridge, by the way, was also cold. Breakfast had to be heated in the sauna.
In general, the place is good if you refine it, but I advise you to visit the Tenir. There to you
