We lost a day at the hotel because of this. They didn't let you out of the airport in Doha, you had to issue a fan ID card in advance, even if the championship starts in 17 days and you are not fans. In general, they did not see Doha. After a night flight from Moscow, we were tired to death. I had to take a hotel room for 400 euros (4 people) to sleep, in fact, all these "events" with ID and not leaving the airport were calculated for the purchase of rooms. My son forgot expensive headphones on the plane, the room of lost things was never found, they assured me at the information desk that they searched and did not find it, well, well. The process of searching for lost items is absolutely not organized and is not understandable for foreigners. Well, finally, it blows in airplanes so that I had to wear a down jacket. People with weak immune systems, dress warmly for Qatar Airways flights.

The company has changed the time of the connecting flight. As a result, I had to spend 18 hours at Doha airport instead of 4 hours. At the same time, no compensation was offered. In response to a written request, the staff recommended using the airport's paid services. At the airport, on principle, I tried to get at least a voucher for meals during these 18 hours of waiting. They were sent from one employee to another for a long time, and eventually they were rewarded with $ 8.5. For this amount, you can buy a glass of juice at the Doha airport. Or one 0.5 bottle of water (not enough for two). It should be understood that I would not willingly buy tickets with such a transfer. The purchased ticket was purchased precisely for a short connection, which the company deprived me of. To be fair, the service on the plane itself is good.
There used to be a good airline. Now it's a complete mess! It is impossible to get through. There are simply not enough free lines in the call center. No one answers at all on weekends. If you got through, then their electronic system is not working. Then the flights are postponed so that it becomes more than 10 hours at the junction. Then the airport was changed, but not all people live in Moscow, many connect domestic flights. The company has become worse than low-cost airlines. They preferred the Cathars for a lot of money only due to the short docking time. As a result of the flight postponement, we will sit in Doha with a child for more than 10 hours and all further connections will collapse. The operators on the phones don't really care - we can't help them. Losses are more than $1,500. Next time, the choice will definitely be in favor of other companies! It feels like it's not an international airline that's working, but a pioneer artel... In my company, for such work, everyone would be fired in 24 hours without severance pay!

They did not give any confirmation of the reason for their refusal.As a result, lost money for tickets, an additional paid hotel before the new flight, in Zanzibar, planes do not fly often in all directions, and a spoiled vacation experience.

That's what Qatar's Moscow office explained to me.
Therefore, when registering (for example) Moscow-Doha-Male, all seats are available for the flight to Doha, and from Doha to Male only through one. That is, NO ONE will take these seats! This is for flight safety, otherwise flights from Doha are not allowed. On the return flight, the plane is full from Male (all seats are available), and their Doha to Moscow seats are through one and the plane flies half empty.
But, if you are one family, then you will be allowed to move on board next to your relatives, but book as indicated on the website for free seats through one.
