The monument "Farewell" (in white. Razvitanne) is located near the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, next to the Cascade fountain near the entrance to the museum. The monument has a collective image and symbolizes the farewell of Soviet women to their husbands, sons, and lovers at the time of their departure for the war in 1942. The plot of the monument is like an illustration for the song "The girl saw off the fighter at the position.."
