It wasn't the first time we fell in love with the Kata Night Market, but it became our favorite place where you can buy delicious, high-quality, varied food. There are lots of seafood, fruits, and souvenir shops. They cook quickly and efficiently. Our favorites are tom yam, shrimp, coconut ice cream, spiral potatoes. It's a little hot, of course, there's not always room, but it's the high traffic that ensures the quality and freshness of the products.

The night market in Kata Bay is very convenient because in addition to fruits, you can buy food for every taste here. It's not just tom yam, pad thai, and other popular Thai dishes. Beef, pork, tuna steaks. Fish for every taste and purse, lobsters, octopus, etc. Thai dumplings with different fillings are also made here: red fish, shrimp, chicken, beef. Sweet and non-sweet spring rolls, baked potatoes with different fillings, lard! Delicious fruit smoothies, I liked it with avocado. Burgers, pizza, various pastries. You won 't stay hungry . All dishes can be taken with you (packed in disposable dishes, bags), spices, boats, forks - everything is included.

I love this place, I've vacationed in Phuket 4 times and went there to eat all the time. There is everything here, seafood, pancakes, fresh fruit, kebabs, soups, even shawarma. We've never been poisoned, the place is very colorful, we always found new acquaintances from different countries at large tables, because a large communal table greatly contributed to this. The atmosphere is bombastic, but the only thing is it's a little hot, although the fans are blowing a little from above, but they didn't really save. Bugs have not been tried, although many tourists and even Thais themselves buy them, small bugs are in demand because they taste like fried seeds with chicken. In general, all you need for a delicious pastime here is wet wipes and antiseptic. And after that, maybe we'll see. And we will return there every year for delicious tom yam and shrimps.

Cool market! We ate there almost every day, there is food for every taste - kebabs that are cooked right in front of you, various local dishes, fish, an analogue of our potato crumbs, pancakes with different fillings, fruits.
They cook delicious and fast. If necessary, they pack it with them, you can eat at the hotel. There are crowds at the market after 7 p.m., if you don't want to jostle, it's better to come a little earlier.

It's a great place. There is everything! We took seafood at the end of the market (in front of the covered area). Recommend. Delicious churros are closer to the beginning on the side (they are the only ones there). Damlings are also delicious, but you can't get enough of them))
No fruit was taken, as there was a shop next to the hotel. It looks good, fresh. It's about 5 baht cheaper than in other locations on the island.
Prices on the market for food are the same everywhere (100 baht per serving)

We came to the market at 20:00, it was very hot and stuffy - the central part of the market is under the roof, plus the heat from all the kitchens and it turns out to be unreal stuffiness, it is difficult to stay there for a long time.
We went specifically for the lobster, asked the price in 3 different places - everywhere 1400 baht for an average lobster (calculated at the rate of 2000 baht per 1kg). Surprisingly, they do not bargain at all, apparently our people take lobsters anyway))
They got upset and went home, and right at the beginning of the Caron in a seafood restaurant on the 1st line (!) they saw the same 700gram lobster for 1200 baht, so the guys there offered it to us for 950 baht, also baked with cheese and mushrooms! It turned out very tasty! So think about where expensive seafood is more expensive - at the market or in a restaurant)
What makes sense to take in this market is food in skewers of 20bat-50bat (kebabs of vegetables, chicken, meat, shark, shrimp, etc.), grilled fish for 150-180bat, as well as cheap crown Thai dishes such as tom yam and pad thai.
