Excellent hotel for 1-3 nights. Located in the old center of Bangkok. I've stayed here on every trip to Asia through the Thai capital, at least fifty times. The hotel is a bit shabby, but by 2025 the rooms were renovated, dark wallpaper was removed and light was added. But most importantly, its location. There is a large Mahanak market nearby (fruits, vegetables, street food and everything is very cheap, several times cheaper than in the same Gourmet Market in Siam Paragon). There is a clothing market on the lower floors of the hotel itself. Everything is cheap. The new Siam Square center is five minutes away by water tram for a mere penny along Klong Mahanak, the marina is a hundred meters from the hotel. Near Golden Mount (sail one stop in the other direction). It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Suvarnabhumi Airport on the toll highway, and you can get into traffic jams for an hour and a half on a simple road. And most importantly, very affordable prices and a good breakfast.

If you like the old look of hotels like their movies. Then you're in it. Everything is made of wood. It's good. But unfortunately, not everything is maintained in a good way. There are problems both in the room and in the hotel itself. But the hotel itself is amazing in terms of interior decoration. It's beautiful and pleasant to be in it. We stay at this hotel for 1 night before flying home for the 5th time. On the 11th floor, where the bar and pool are located, there is an observation deck with stunning views of Bangkok. I like the nearby fruit market, where we buy fruits at home. The prices are the lowest, local people are bought here. But.... in the hotel, 90% of the residents are Chinese. It is very difficult to find a place for breakfast in the morning. There is an incredible noise. Chinese comrades behave unculturally, loudly, and do not pay attention to the people around them....But, every time we return home, we choose this hotel with its advantages and disadvantages.

The hotel is beautiful, but well-used. Corridors and halls, conference rooms, prayer rooms (seen only for Buddhists), all this looks very beautiful. Wood, marble, frescoes, statues of local deities (or deities. I don't know how to do it right), it's all very cool. In the room (we had a two-room, living room with kitchen and bedroom), mahogany furniture, 2 TVs, refrigerator, kettle. BUT. All this mahogany is shabby, has not been repaired for a long time, everything creaks, jams. In the bathroom, the shower was gushing in all directions, there was only cold (room temperature) water in the sink. The breakfasts are quite decent. No frills, but you can eat in the morning and go for a walk. Delicious Thai rice. Vegetables - fruits. Scrambled eggs and omelets. Location: well, such a thing. Leaving the hotel, you immediately get to the clothing market. He works from about 10 and up to 15-16 hours. Bus stops nearby, a boat stops right next to the hotel, which quickly and cheaply takes you to the center. Very convenient. In general, the norms for their money. Were 23-27.09. For 4 nights 170 dollars

We were at the hotel on our way to Bali (a day there, a day back). We are disappointed with both the rooms and the location. It is possible to spend one night, but for the money that was given for the ticket, something more decent was expected. Perhaps this is more of a claim against the travel agency, and not against.. Of the objective disadvantages:
1. The room has musty, dusty air, and the window cannot even be opened for ventilation mode. 2. Cockroaches.
3. Unstable Wi-Fi in the room.
4. I barely found an outlet to charge my phone. Not all workers.
And already my subjective one: we didn't need the clothing market for nothing. And we didn't find anything else there. Maybe they searched badly or not there.
The halls, staff and breakfasts are all good, but definitely, I don't want to go to this hotel anymore.

Once it was apparently a posh hotel, but that time has passed. Now it's just a city hotel in a noisy center, with broken cabinets and a deposit of 30 USD. I still didn't understand what else could be broken with this money.
The view from the windows is great, but you can't open them.
Two rooms and a fairly spacious room, but I didn't understand how to use the air conditioning in the bedroom. There is no control unit in the room. The one that is controls the condee in the living room but not in the bedroom. Just plugged with napkins.
First time in Bangkok. Maybe all this is normal. I don't know.

There are 2 cups for 4 people. The view from the window on the 26th floor is magnificent!
