The views of the willows leaning towards the water, tall stately palm trees on the other side of the pond, cafes on the water, beautiful swans and always scurrying fish - it fascinates both as a whole and individually! But beauty and cleanliness are only for vacationers. There are rental boats, electric cars for kids and electric scooters. There are many cozy benches for relaxing. This place is one of the business cards of the city!

It is beautiful, like everything historical in New Athos, despite the fact that it is a little neglected, like everything in Abkhazia as a whole.
The seaside Park is a cascade of several artificial ponds. There is a zoo with swans (white and black) walking freely in the park and swimming in ponds, as well as a pair of large ostriches in an aviary. Lotuses are blooming in one of the swampy central ponds.
The park is located in a lowland, near the sea. The highway is separated from it. Since most of the other attractions of New Athos are located on fairly steep slopes or on the very tops of the mountains, it is better to complete the acquaintance with the town in the Seaside Park than to start it from here. Just relax by sitting by the water on benches in the shade of greenery, and then, crossing the highway and you can plunge into the sea. There are several cafes, restaurants and mini-hotels near the park. Local hot pastries - "boat" (with and without egg), according to many, are the tastiest here.

It is very sad to see how iconic places once perish. This is one of those sorrows. The pond is dirty, in places there is a direct stench from stale water, it is clear that they do not clean it. It seems that the park still lives somehow, but the old cafe on the water, still Soviet-built, will soon fall into this water. It's amazing how swans still swim and fish live in that pond.

It's a great place.... beautiful nature, real, pristine! In a cafe in the depths of the park, you can buy bread and feed it to swans and ducks. Swans are very graceful, they easily make contact with people! There is a cafe in the park! I recommend trying Sukhumi lemonade there, it's very tasty! We must be prepared for the fact that payment for everything there is only in cash.

A great park for spending time. The preserved sculptures of the Soviet period are retro transferred to the beautiful past. There are swans and ducks in the park. Fish are "teeming". You can take bread with you and feed it with your hands. There is a cafe with delicious food in the park and nearby. I recommend you to visit.
