It's a lovely place, not a park. It is picturesque, there are a lot of plants and trees, it is clean enough, there are a sufficient number of benches, and we always stopped to admire next to the bird houses. The only thing is that one day we got up at 5 a.m. to walk to the embankment in the morning and it was a mistake - a pack of dogs surrounded us (about their friendliness and "they don't bite" - try it yourself. And so there was nothing to eat with me, without exaggeration, it was unrealistic to keep calm when 10 huge stray dogs were rushing at you, and then surrounded and howling. What an embankment - there would be a foot to carry away! It was saved by the fact that they lived nearby, did not stop, and the fact that they saw a "strange" dog on their territory and started a quarrel, at that time we quickly reached our gate).

A good park, with ponds for birds, there are even houses for them, a pen for an ostrich, a peacock.
Everything is beautiful, because nature itself in Abkhazia is beautiful, but the ponds are poorly cleaned, there are a lot of algae, the water is dark, but we were in August, it was very hot, maybe we didn't have time to clean. There are bridges illuminated at night over ponds, there are cafes, you can rent a boat. But the territory is not large, there is not much to do, only if you take a walk, sit on a bench, eat. The Ferris wheel has almost been launched, it is already glowing, but it is not working yet (08/14/24 has not worked yet), so it may soon be more interesting

A very beautiful park. Small, but clean and cozy. You can go boating for 200 rubles for 20 minutes. There are cafes. You can feed the fish. You can feed the swans. Beautiful lighting in the evening.
Two cafes with music (located in different parts of the park and the music of one cafe does not interfere with the music of another cafe), one without music. When I rest in New Athos, I walk there every day.

A magnificent park, just a delight! The park has several zones: two lakes, one with white swans swimming, the other with black ones. A wide variety of plants and sculptures. They captured a palm tree with dates.
There is a chapel in the eastern part of the park. There is also a local poultry house, where guinea fowls, owls and ostriches are kept. There are a lot of locations milking photos.
I definitely recommend you to visit.
If you drive your own car, it is better to park in the paid parking lot near the memorial museum of military glory. The price of the question is 200 rubles.

One of the most attractive places in New Athos is the seaside park with a system of canals and ponds. It was created by the monks of the New Athos monastery at the end of the XIX century. The park has suffered a lot of historical upheavals, but people were able to preserve its beauty. Guests vacationing in New Athos and local residents come here. It is very pleasant to wander along clean paths among slender cypresses, sit on benches in the shade of huge plane trees and magnolias, admire the weeping willows. I really liked the New Athos! There is a mini zoo in the Seaside Park, big and small fish swim in the pond, and what beautiful swans! The bridges are illuminated in the evening, you can go boating. If you decide to go to Abkhazia, then choose a New Athos, you will not regret it, since it is the pearl of Abkhazia.
If you take care in advance, you can book and find very decent accommodation at an affordable price with a decent location. The sea is clean here, there is enough entertainment in the summer, and the hospitality of the locals is also present!
Here you need to spend your time with grocery stores and canteens, prices are different at 100-150 meters.
There are also enough attractions: a fortress, caves, waterfalls, three mountain cauldrons, a monastery, hiking trails, a cable car, Stalin's cottage, the sea, sap, water walks, fishing, you can go on a trip and buy yourself a tour of Abkhazia, but it's not cheap.
