The seaside Park in Gagra is an amazing place that is definitely worth a visit. I was impressed by the beauty of nature, clean air and calm sea. The park is well maintained and well maintained, with lots of greenery, flowers and birds. There are plenty of benches for relaxation, playgrounds and picnic areas. I spent a pleasant time here, enjoying walking along the paths and watching the sunset over the sea. I recommend everyone to visit the Seaside Park in Gagra and enjoy its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
One of the best locations in Gagra! Very beautiful. The beaches are large , clean , equipped with everything you need - shower , toilet , changing rooms . And most importantly! - Abkhazians are great fellows in the sense that they try to make the most comfortable stay for tourists , and at the same time , they keep the silence around . There are no touts, loudspeakers, in cafes ( and there are a lot of them all along the coast), music plays sooo quietly, almost inaudible. Nature is just awesome and it is absolutely around you and well-groomed. The only drawback that exists in this place is the characters who impose to take pictures with the tortured eagle and lion cub....Sadly
The nature of Abkhazia is beautiful, the Seaside Park is proof of that! The authorities are trying to put it in order, but there is still something to work on! There is a lot of place for walking, there is a place to have a snack and relax. But be careful, at the entrance, very intrusive local horsemen will turn your head, take pictures and make you fork out 🤯
It's beautiful and festive, especially when it gets dark. There are many restaurants, many beautiful trees. In general, this embankment is probably the most beautiful place for walking in Gagra.
A very beautiful colonnade, it glows in the evening. One of the main attractions of old Gagra. We came here specifically to take a walk, the park is also very beautiful, there are many palm trees 👍
We walk there every year. A wonderful place to walk in the afternoon, and in the evening - on the round square, opposite Gagripsha, live music and a spontaneous disco - cool))
The atmosphere of the park is very sincere. A nice embankment, lots of greenery, fountains, ponds, various statues. I want to come back here again and again.
The park is an echo of the glorious USSR.
A little virtue to the local population, fix all the irregularities of the tiles, etc. You also need to pay attention to the san nodes, you need to give an appearance.
The biggest disadvantage, which interrupts all the advantages of this resort, IS THE "BURNING DUMP" NEAR PITSUNDA.
DEAR PEOPLE OF ABKHAZIA, WHAT CENTURY DO YOU LIVE IN!? SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS, OR NORMAL PEOPLE WILL NOT COME TO YOU ANYMORE!!!
TERRIBLE!!!!
THE VANISH IS SUCH THAT THERE IS NOTHING TO BREATHE.
It's beautiful, the natural landscape, wonderful trees and flowers, it's nice to walk. The pristine beauty has been preserved. A colonnade for selfies. In front of the Antique clock (from Pugacheva's song)
I recommend you to visit there
Against the background of the general slight neglect of facilities in Abkhazia, the park remains a small oasis where it is pleasant to walk and breathe.
There are excellent and comfortable tennis courts in the center of the park, I recommend
And we liked it. Yes, there are many parts of the park that have not been repaired, but somehow everything is exactly cozy.
There is a small zoo corner inside. With raccoons and other animals.
A beautiful park, very green. Well-groomed only at the very beginning. When you go deep into the park, especially in the part where the cafes are located, there is a broken fountain, garbage, unmade paths and so on. Such a beautiful park, it is a pity that there is no decent care for the joy of the residents and tourists themselves
White columns, carved pattern on top. Everything is highlighted. There is a small fountain nearby. But in order to take a picture in the evening, you need to try. There are a lot of people, it's a little dark.
Hello, the park differs only in the presence of exotic plants mixed with plants of our latitude. Fountains are called, unkempt, not restored, it's a horror for me. If you go, then only to the length of the embankment. It's not worth going too deep. New buildings are just toilets. The rest is all abandoned , unkempt , it's hard to even call the retro style +((
This place is worth a visit. A very beautiful park with palm trees and other plants. The old cable car, the pier, the psychedelic maze are etched in my memory.
A great well-maintained, very picturesque place. It's great to walk in the heat and in the evening at sunset. There are a lot of fish in the pond, take bread and feed practically from your hands😻
Next to the embankment, it is more beautiful in the evening with lighting. We had live music with us. There is an abandoned old cinema nearby - you can climb there during the day)
The park is located in Staraya Gagra. It was founded on the site of swamps before the revolution. Rare plants are planted along the seashore, there are fountains, walking through the park you can walk to the Gagripsh restaurant, brought by the Prince of Oldenburg. The building was built without nails. Walk to the colonnade, where there are always a lot of buses and two kiosks with souvenirs and ice cream. There is a cafe in the park, and music is playing. But, souvenir kiosks are open until two, three o'clock in the afternoon. There is a pier. I would say that the park is unkempt, the toilets are dirty. While walking, a scorpion ran across our path. And in the evening, bats fly by the colonnade, which nest near the abandoned cinema opposite. The film Winter Evening in Gagra was shot there.
The most famous monument is the symbol of the city, the fountain itself is turned on in the evenings, probably together with lighting. If you visit the Seaside Park, then in addition to the colonnade, you should visit the fortress, the mosaic maze and the abandoned palace of the Prince of Oldenburg.
Beautiful promenade. New paving slabs have been laid out, that's all. You will not find a free toilet, there is a lot of construction debris spoiling the view on the coastal sea line (beach). A cafe near the pond with an above-average price.
I really liked the park in Gagra plane trees eucalyptus palms ivy magnolias all this gives off such a fragrance , next to the blue sea Gagripsh is one pleasure
The disgusting content of animals in the zoo. Very small cells with a fetid smell. It's just a horror to see this in 2024, in a tourist place where nature is so beautiful. We went to see the peacocks, thinking that they are kept in about the same way as birds are kept in the Sochi Arboretum, but we saw such horror. I would like to urge the park administration, the city administration, the government of the country and the public to common sense. It's very sad, these animals have done nothing wrong to be treated like this.
a great place to walk, lots of beautiful trees, flowers, there are places to relax and have a snack. you can take a walk along the embankment. there is a dilapidated theater.
We visited the Seaside Park in October and were not very satisfied with the condition of the park after the end of the season. They try to keep it in order, but they don't invest enough money in it. There are many abandoned places, unkempt paths and benches in the park. You can visit once, but no more.
My favorite park in sunny Abkhazia!!! Clean, cozy and very beautiful!!! If you still think that this is a dirty and unkempt country, be sure to visit the Seaside Park. I hope your attitude towards Abkhazia will change.
It's an amazing place, very beautiful. We parked on the side of the park (there were practically no cars, it was noon). We walked from the beginning to the colonnade, met a funny monkey named Masha, took pictures. The photos from the sea (park in the background) turn out great. It is very strange, but the beach was almost empty, six people saw it over a long stretch. We swam in crystal clear water. What I didn't like was the lack of free toilets (price 30-50 rubles), we had lunch in a cafe near an abandoned cable car (I don't remember the name). The child was ordered mashed potatoes with a cutlet (mashed potatoes in chunks, dry, tasteless, the cutlet is slightly salted) as a result, he did not eat anything. We bought khachipuri for ourselves, they are normal.
The colonnade was repaired, this is the business card of Gagra, very nicely, the fountain was repaired. The backlight was done. Maybe it's a good thing that everything is developing slowly there, because it doesn't change how butto got into the Soviet Union.
Old Gagra is a string of incredible beauties. It was 4 years ago, when they just started restoring the park. I am very glad that such a legacy was saved, I admired the photos of others. Oh, how I was drawn there.
The theater itself, in terms of the building, is very pleasant.
But we watched the play 12 nights by V. Shakespeare
I was disappointed, I could have safely finished 40 minutes earlier.
Just spoil the final part of everything...
vulgarity and insanity.
They brought in quadrobers. Horror.
I'm not disappointed anymore.
A picturesque beautiful park with fountains, palm trees and peacocks :) It's nice to walk in the cool shade of the trees and swim in the sea - it's right next to you.
The place is beautiful, but requires more care than at present. Cafes on the embankment are a nightmare!!! The service suffers a lot and the quality ... but as a walk, there is a place to be, since we have arrived in Gagra
I really liked the park, of course, a lot of effort is needed to put everything in order. A large area, lots of greenery, ponds of different geometric shapes, the beach itself is trying to put in order. It was probably very chic before, maybe in the future too!
I was here for the first time in the year 2010, there was a very big difference - it became! Now the gentrified territory of the park and the embankment is admired. It's definitely worth a walk here👌🏻
We received a lot of positive impressions. I couldn't stop taking pictures. Palm trees, tall thuja trees, oleanders, magnolias. A very atmospheric park.
It's beautiful, there are a lot of tourists. Not a bad, dirty beach. Opposite, across the street, there is an abandoned cinema. There is a cafe nearby.
Gagra is beautiful, but a wreck. We must invest, comrades Abkhazians. And the money will flow like a river. Unique views, nature, the purest sea, but the laziest staff
Nice park, beautiful colonnade. It is rich in locations, one of the disadvantages is that it is not well monitored somewhere there are no benches, drinking water fountains are not working
A great park, already overgrown with century-old trees. It is always nice to walk along the embankment and breathe in the fresh sea air. It offers a magnificent view of the mountains.
A beautiful place, gorgeous nature, an abandoned cable car station nearby. It is very interesting to take a walk, you get great pleasure. It is better to go through the park from the beginning to the end.
It's nice to take a walk and look at the gardeners' work, but there are remnants of past greatness from the USSR, an abandoned cable car, some kind of building is quite large, etc.
