I want to write a review about visiting the Rafting + Tazy Canyon + Zipline excursion in Turkey. We were in August 2022, this is our fourth visit to Turkey and we have already got used to the fact that the main task of a tour agent is to sell an excursion, so we decided to take a rafting tour at the street tour desk, of which there are many at the hotel. Avium Tour - our tour operator requested $ 75 per person for visiting this tour, but we bought it for $ 25 near the hotel. The standard tour includes a visit to the canyon, rafting, Zipline - this is when you are put on a vest, attached to a cable and you fly at an altitude of 10 meters across the river and back, transfer and lunch. The street vendor said that a four-wheeled SUV ride would also be included, but he was deceived. The trip time is also a standard lie. From the suburb of Kemer (Kamyuva district, Kilikia hotel). When buying the tour, we were told that the travel time is 1.5 hours, but in fact three in one direction. And back 3.5 hours, taking into account traffic jams. We were taken to the riverbank, divided into sections assigned to firms that directly organize this leisure. These bases are equipped with a bar, shower, toilet, and tables for lunch, and we dock here after rafting. In general, taking into account all the delays, while all the buses arrived, 40 people gathered from three buses by 11 o'clock in the afternoon, although initially I hoped for rafting as part of a company from our bus from the Kemer area. The briefing included recommendations on renting a caralloc and a wetsuit for $ 10 and opportunities for rafting on a two-person kayak for $ 10. On large boats, 10 people plus an instructor are rafting. Three boats and five kayaks were rafted for 40 people. For rafting, everyone received helmets and vests for free + purchased wetsuits (I recommend suits because the water is icy) after which we were taken by buses for another 25 minutes to the rafting site. It is better to organize into groups of 10 people at a time, otherwise you will end up anywhere. I, my wife and child of 10 years old, got into a boat with an all-male company from Azerbaijan, so that's fine, but for the next hour and a half we rowed, all conversations were only in Turkish. Our rabid instructor immediately began to pour ice water on everyone, although as I understood it, they have an idiotic tradition and with the help of instructors, everyone on the river splashes everyone. Rowing teams are clueless and as a result, someone is rowing, someone is not. The next nuance turned out to be that you need to wait for the whole group after passing the thresholds, and these are three boats and 5 kayaks. At first, this turtle movement bothered me until I realized that the main task was to keep the group together to take photos and videos. The games themselves are fun and interesting, the child really liked it. The river is just right for beginners. In the middle of the way there was a stop where you could have a snack for an additional fee and if you have a Zipline enabled on the tour, then fly over the river there and back. The flight is also interesting. The water in the river is icy and not only is there ankle-deep water in the boat and with every threshold everyone finds themselves in the water, but someone is constantly pouring over you, which was pretty annoying. By the way, be sure to apply sunscreen, as an hour and a half under the scorching sun will burn your legs and arms. It is better to buy a protective phone case at the hotel since it costs $ 10 on the spot. Upon arrival at the base, we were fed a very mediocre lunch and sold flash drives with photo / video shooting for $ 25. After that, those who had a visit to the Canyon Basin in the package went there along the mountain serpentine on open frame SUVs. Serpentine is inferior to Crimean in terms of impressions. The observation deck of the canyon resembles a Swallow's nest in the Crimea, there is nowhere to fall, it is very crowded and full of people, there is no safety. You climb over the rocks to the edge of the abyss for a photo. And get back quickly. To summarize, then you need to see the canyon and go rafting on the river, you will get unforgettable impressions. But if possible, then book an individual tour without reference to local organizers.
