I was here in early October. The amazing location of the temple is spacious, you can see both the sea and the mountains! It feels peaceful! None of the tourists.
I gave five stars right away just for the fact that the temple is being restored! And this is a rare sight for Abkhazia. The workers are currently working on the roof, but they said that in a year they will restore the temple completely. I really want to visit here after the reconstruction!
The road to the temple is normal, we drove quietly by car. On the way back, we stopped in Lykhny to see the ruins of the Palace of Princes Chachba-Shevarshidze and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
