The Prague chimes are like one of the wonders of the world that must be seen. I have never seen such a watch anywhere. I don't want to get smart and retell the story, which is a lot on the Internet… but it is necessary to express your feelings about what you saw. They are located on the wall of the cathedral, which is located not far from the buildings around the perimeter of the square. Hence another unusual feature - a narrow place for a crowd of onlookers watching a puppet show that takes place every hour with the ringing of a bell announcing the passing of time. There's not much room there. But the clock is visible from the window of the hotel, where we settled specifically to enjoy the view from the window. It is impossible to understand the clock without knowing the meaning conceived by the author. But I did not know and did not figure it out. I just enjoyed the beauty and strangeness. We were at different times of the year (summer, autumn, winter). Prague fascinates with its antiquity and strangeness.
We bought a souvenir in the form of chimes. They are still working.
Another gorgeous architectural work of Prague! It is simply unimaginable that there is so much beauty in one city!I admire this building and the whole architecture of Prague!
