In the south of Kazakhstan, in the Altyn-Emel National Park, the Aigaikum dune lurks. Are you hiding? Because this dune is called a small one. And indeed... just think, 3 kilometers long and 50-storey building high!
But what is small for a huge nature can be simply immense for a tiny person.
Climbing a dune with a slope of 60 degrees in places, with crumbling and dragging down sand, with 30 Degrees Celsius of heat, and closer to the top with a hurricane wind, turned out to be the most difficult ... the most difficult of all!
But we got a lot of emotions. At 10 on a 5-point scale!
At the moment when you, with dry lips and no air in your lungs, with sand in your mouth, eyes and underpants, crawl on four bones to the very crest and sit on a dune riding like a gigantic mythical horse (one leg is burned by the sun, and the other is cooled by cool sand), you feel that you have conquered The whole (no, not like that) THE WHOLE WORLD!
And there is no person on earth happier than you at this moment.
Impressive, extraordinary views. I highly recommend visiting it.
Minus the difficulty of purchasing tickets (the office of the reserve administration should be searched in the village). The inspector at the entrance turned out to be extremely honest, despite the widespread bribery in the KZ. I had to go to the village a second time, we lost a lot of time on this.
And also, for a very bad road to the dune
A place exclusively for interesting photos of "I'm in the desert".
The burkhan is small, the surrounding greenery is visible from any point, so it is impossible to get into the sandy spirit until the end.
But if you wander around, choose an angle and connect your imagination... The photos will be very atmospheric!
A very unusual natural landmark, stands out from the surrounding world with its originality. Every day is like a new one, no matter how many people walk through it. Come in the morning, no one and everything is in its original form. Beauty! We climb to the top, there is a beautiful view of the surroundings and the Ili River. And of course, the descent down on the butt is accompanied by an original sound from the vibrations of the sand, similar to the roar of an airplane. A miracle! There is a parking lot, a trash can, a toilet.
Please save the natural monument, do not throw bottles, corks, coins and other things from the dune, everything remains in the sand, it is not pleasant. 6 caps, 2 bottles, 4 coins, 3 sticks were collected.
Must visit! It is better to visit in the warm season - then the dune really sings. It is better to combine it with visiting other attractions of Altyn-Emel, because one hour on the singing dune is quite enough
I have always been interested in why the name "flying dunes" is so called.
After visiting, I realized this. The dunes are really singing under you!
A great place, worth visiting for every Almaty resident and not only. However, the road to the PPTS is called Hodovka. It's hard on a sedan. It's easier for the crossover.
A huge natural monument that shows the diversity and beauty of the steppe. In spring, the desert blooms around the dune, and views of the Ili River flood open.
The disadvantages are the road, a small amount of information inside the park, and meager booklets. I would like to know more about the place where you came
I really liked the place. Amazing views open from above, no matter which way you look. I saw Jeyran on the way. You definitely need to visit this place.
It is a very beautiful and colorful place. I've never regretted going there. The only drawback: Alice leads not quite there, you need to continue driving along the road to the wooden signpost (this was suggested to us by the locals who were driving by)
An amazing place, with its own mystical atmosphere. Conquering it has been a goal for me for a long time and I was glad that I reached the very top. Slide down while sitting on your butt and feel the sound as if you have an airplane under your feet.
The view from the dune is fascinating.
Be sure to take a cap with you because it's hot!!!!
It's a great place. Very beautiful. It is necessary to go overnight. On the way, he accelerated and punched a tire. It's your own fault! But there is a tire service in the village. They put the camera on, everything is fine
Well) in the pictures, as always, it's better, a small piece of desert, climbing a ladder, there are many lizards on the way, I think it's worth visiting

The singing Dune is simply amazing! We chose a group tour with Melon Travel on the advice of friends, and it was a great decision. The organizer Anton Baranov did everything to make the trip comfortable and memorable. I recommend this company for travel!
I have a very interesting history with this place.
Once, my family and I came to Kazakhstan, First of all, we went to the singing dune. We climbed up and my sister pushed me and I tumbled down.....
The place is definitely ready to visit until it is closed to tourists. It is better to take a guide and ask about the local way of life and culture. Or about counting gazelles.

A very interesting place near the mountains and greenery. It's nice that people observe the frequency themselves and respect nature.
Everything is fine, a fantastic landscape in the middle of the Kalmyk steppe. Cons - I did not hear singing, the powerful wind is constantly, after the trip there is sand in all places of the body
You definitely need to visit. It is better to drive a car with bigger wheels. Most of the way goes through the steppe, where the road looks like a slate. It's really better to drive fast on it. At speeds over 60 km/h, the damage to the suspension is less. If you do not go in the summer, then it is better to take warm clothes with you to the top of the dune. We were in September, it was hot downstairs, and there was a strong wind and cold air at the top.
A must-visit.
It is better to choose the road through Zharkent (+140 km), but without bad sections. There are no food outlets, take food with you. There are places to use the barbecue.
A huge sandbox 😄
It is mandatory to visit at least once in your life. You need to go there overnight and preferably in an SUV. There are rooms for overnight stays in the nearest village. There are still interesting places to visit nearby.
You need to see this wonderful natural monument with your own eyes and feel it with your soul! Then only you can understand how powerful and fabulous he is "Singing Dune"! I recommend it to all Kazakhstanis!

It was a great place
, but we were unlucky to be there in cloudy weather and the landscape was bleak....
A great place to visit. But there are no roads inside the national park - a washing board with a thick layer of dust, it's annoying. We had time to see everything during the day, but we had to spare no car - huge distances along the comb. The road from Sary Ozek is broken by quarry trucks.
I really enjoyed walking on the crest of the dune and walking along it further towards the river. The singing of the dune resembles a loud vibration that you feel with your whole body.
a must-visit. to hear the sound of a dune, you need to walk along the crest of a dune or escape from a steep descent. In a strong wind, there is nothing but the sound of the wind.
