A great hotel with delicious and varied cuisine. You can take fruits and sweets with you to your room. Nice staff. The room is cleaned every day and towels are changed every day. There is a small pool, but it is not needed, since the sea is very close across the promenade. There are always bottles of water in the refrigerators. The beach is cleaned every morning. There are many containers and shelves for things in the room. The bathroom has a very comfortable and large shower cabin. The plumbing is not leaking, the shower works fine.

Great hotel! I didn't even expect to like it so much. Very close to the sea, literally 20 meters from the hotel, its own beach, there are always free sun beds. The pool is small, but it is not needed when the sea is two steps away. The room is very clean and cozy, I saw how the cleaner cleaned the room opposite after the tenants left. She even washed the windows and polished the balcony railings to a shine. The food is very tasty, you will always find something to eat. Once a week there is a fish day. There was a delicious grilled perch, shrimp, squid in batter, and there was a huge salmon, tender as salmon. There were even rolls, quite decent, oddly enough. The view from the beach is awesome! A bay surrounded by mountains. There are cocktails in the bar, about 10 types. The coffee from the vending machine is extremely delicious.There was live music and a DJ in the evening two times a week. In general, we were very satisfied! The only drawback is that there is almost no territory, but there is such a gorgeous promenade, you can walk for a long time. Lots of cafes, shops, cafes on the pier in the sea. A very beautiful and pleasant place, I definitely recommend it.

Great hotel!

Nice view, there is a small pool, sun beds. The sea is 10 seconds from the hotel))) The coastline is narrow, the landing is dense.

Room cleaning leaves much to be desired: they will not sweep-they will not wash the floors, then they will forget to leave a set: gel cap-sticks-cotton pads, then they will leave the cup in the sink with water turned on for half a day. But they did not forget to take the dollar bills. The room is small and the air conditioner is not very conveniently located, which is a grate in the wall along the ceiling and blows in one direction. As a result, it had to be abandoned in order not to get sick.
The sun beds on the pool and the beach are extremely close to each other. But all these unpleasant nuances were asked for a beautiful view of the sea, the sun and a very tasty beer!

The hotel fully meets its 4* requirements. Among the disadvantages: there is little space - on the beach, by the pool, on the common terrace, at the bar and tiny rooms, although all with balconies. But, strangely enough, everything fits in somehow. The hotel is in the first line to the sea, there is a pier and a pantone on its own beach.
The contingent is different, more British, but there are also enough compatriots.
The food is varied, but not very tasty, but you will always find fresh herbs, vegetables, salads, melons, watermelon and other fruits. The alcohol is local, but decent. Turkish coffee and freshly squeezed juice are paid, the latter is carefully diluted with water if you do not follow the process. The staff as a whole, in my opinion, is below average, but there are pleasant exceptions. The location of the hotel in the city is quite pleasant: a little less sounds of everyday hangouts, but not far from the center. You can walk along the embankment, for those who like walking. Everything is nearby.
Entertainment is limited, but it is dictated by the city itself. The hotel has a sauna, a hammam and a small gym. I recommend it more than not.

The hotel is not bad. First, they gave us a room on the ground floor with a view of the neighboring building. After asking the reception to change the room, we went to a meeting and the next day, after vacating another room, we were moved to a room on the 4th floor with a direct view of the sea. No extra charges!
The beach is too small and the deck chairs are too close to each other, the first line of sunbeds is generally in the water.... They must be occupied at 7 a.m. otherwise, towels are left there and there are no places on the sun loungers until the evening, there is not enough for everyone.
The food is quite adequate, the variety is small, but you definitely won't stay hungry. But the heat in the restaurant is terrible. Only a few tables are under air conditioning, and most of them are under a plastic canopy, which is terribly heated. Well, accordingly, as soon as the products are exposed (and they are not closed), flies immediately begin to swarm. I wanted to run faster from there.
Otherwise, everything is fine, but the price for this hotel is unreasonably high. Nearby there are good fives lower in value , with a larger area .
I would put three stars, but for loyalty and a room with a beautiful view of the sea, I put 4.
And yes, a young man worked at the reception, a Turk, I do not remember, unfortunately, what his name was, he helped with the selection of the room, solve any issue and even dragged suitcases to the bus when leaving. At the same time, he refused to tip at all. Thank him very much! 🙏🏻

Arriving at the hotel, we were very upset by how cramped it is and how stuffy the lobby is. Despite the working air conditioner, the guy who made us out was standing and sweating. And it was already 2 a.m. Initially, we were settled in a tiny room in which two people could not turn around, not to mention that there was nowhere even to put a suitcase. The bed is small, and so is the shower stall. The air conditioner did not cool the room at all, but rather works like a fan. As it turned out later, in general, air conditioners work so poorly everywhere in the hotel. According to the photos on the website, we saw exactly the same room, which was declared as a single room. They just wanted to fool us or wanted money, apparently. After we went to the reception several times, they still found us a bigger room. Cleaning was done daily, towels were changed every day. The food is decent. There were fruits for each meal: apples, oranges, grapefruit, plums, nectarines, peaches, melons and watermelons. The peaches were very tasty, which cannot be said about the watermelon. Breakfast always had a large number of cheeses, vegetables, herbs, different variations of egg dishes, sausages, beans, various pastries, pancakes, jams, jam, honey, waffles, lukum, yoghurts. A layer cake with cheese, spinach or potatoes is my favorite for breakfast. Of the cons, there were no cereals for breakfast, only potatoes and breakfast cereals. For lunch and dinner there were always a lot of different snacks, vegetables, fruits, fish dishes, chicken, veal, turkey. Seafood was served once a week for a fish dinner. Turkish coffee was made only for 100 liras. Free coffee only from the vending machine. Freshly squeezed juice of 120 lire.
The main disadvantage of the hotel is that it is very crowded. There was a small pool, there was no distance at all between the sun loungers. There wasn't enough room for everyone there. It was necessary to get up in the morning to take a place both by the pool and on the beach, where the sun loungers are also very crowded, while some sun loungers stand directly in the water and are simply flooded with water when the waves. Umbrellas are falling into the sea, they were just washed away. In the morning, the water on the beach was clean, after lunch it was always muddy, dirty, a lot of garbage was floating and some greasy streaks. The hotel has no territory as such at all.
There are a lot of cats on the territory of the hotel that run around the restaurant, jump on tables, throw
off appliances. The impressions are not unambiguous. We tried to leave the hotel somewhere, it was not cozy and comfortable.

A cool hotel. The firmest four. I returned with my friend yesterday, I liked it one hundred percent. Very friendly and attentive staff, clean and nice rooms, the sea is 1 minute from the hotel, sand (not pebbles), there is a pier. The food is excellent. There was enough of everything, fish and different types of meat every day. There are a lot of sweets, fruits, watermelon. The hotel is without children, few Russians. From the street of bars 30 minutes on foot. The only wish is that the snacks be shifted later, otherwise they are at the same time as lunch, and when I get hungry after lunch, the snacks are already over. I recommend this hotel 100%.

A good four, but they didn't get a grade of 4. A buffet with a variety of dishes and there is a choice, not every day the same thing, meat, fish, fruits, desserts. The staff does not speak Russian. There are few Russians in the hotel, mostly Europeans, but for us it was even a plus. The hotel is 16+ there are no children. There was practically no animation, a couple of times a week in the evening local artists sang with live music. Its own beach, but of course it was expected that there would be more territory... I didn't like that the deck chairs are stuck one to one and the first line of deck chairs is almost in the water... and yes, a public promenade separates the beach and the hotel...this is rather also a minus ...
Also a big minus, the fact that they decided not to feed us when we checked in... so to speak, they politely refused, although there were still a lot of people in the restaurant and distribution area.... somehow disorganized and unfriendly,... we met .....we must understand that people fly on a plane for more than 1 hour, wait for a transfer at the airport and do not get to the hotel for 20 minutes.... in 7-9 hours, you can get pretty good...and this must be understood .... Hotel vouchers do not cost 20 thousand. we could take care of the guests in such a case.
The rooms are cleaned daily, the main thing is not to forget to include on the sign in the room what needs to be cleaned. A very compact room that literally stumbled over suitcases....
They did not congratulate me, although they have all the data...in other hotels, this is somehow organized. In general, it's not bad, but due to certain moments there was a residue, so this is an assessment.

We rested in Poseidon with my husband from June 4-13.2023. The hotel is a solid four. Of the advantages: proximity to the sea! It's right 30 meters away. Food! - a lot of fresh herbs and salads, we gave fish (dietary cod every day), ate pink salmon and sea bass 3 times in 10 days. By the way, alcohol is not bad here. Cleanliness! The cleaning is very polite, cleaned every day. Wi-fi ! The connection is good enough throughout the hotel. He catches something on the beach, then he doesn't. There is an air conditioner! Works.
There is a pier and a pontoon! Of course, they are small to raise, you can scratch the fifth point, but it is beautiful there and it is an additional place to relax. There are also sun beds! Is free. But in the season it is necessary to borrow in advance.
Cons: The room! We were accommodated in the Annex building, and this is not what is shown in the picture (the photo shows the room is small, requires spot repairs. There is no Russian-speaking staff at the hotel! From the word at all (I understand that there are a lot of British there, but there are also a lot of Russians in Turkey, so we can consider this issue in the future).
The sea in Marmaris is not as clean as in other regions... There is sand, silt, and algae at the bottom.. There is a bay here and in the evening, after all the entertainment on the ships and on the beach, there is a lot of plastic, cigarettes, bottle caps in the sea(((
Summarizing all of the above.. There are much worse marriages in Turkey. We had a good rest)

We support everything that is good in the reviews, we did not encounter any of the negative sides from the reviews. But the only thing that no one has written is the Irish pab bar. They didn't let us sleep until 01:30 at night. The music was so loud that it seemed that the balcony door was wide open. The hotel itself has nothing to do with it, it only has positive emotions. But keep in mind. We couldn't sleep properly.

We were in Poseidon in early July 2023. The main advantage is the proximity to the sea and its own beach. On the beach, they constantly occupy places with towels in the morning. You come to the beach at 10, and there 90% of the sunbeds are occupied, only half of them are people, and the rest are just towels. This is of course due to the fact that the number is right next to each other. There is also a pier and a pontoon, but they also occupy everything in advance. We always found a place, we didn't occupy it in advance.
The territory of the hotel is small, but this is a city hotel and we do not need the territory, the main sea is two steps away and you can walk to the center of Marmaris. The staff is good, except for the girls at the reception, they are somehow not disposed to communicate and welcome. Often in hotels there are cheerful bartenders or waiters who joke, smile, there may be a couple of them here, the rest just do their job without emotion to the residents. In general, everyone is good.
An open-air restaurant with a sliding roof, which was closed at lunch, but it's still hot. The air conditioners are only on the sides and we tried to find a free table there, we were not always lucky, but often)
The food is generally good. The breakfasts are only very meager. Of course you'll find something to eat, but it's really weak. Lunches and dinners are certainly better and more varied than breakfasts. They gave both meat and fish. But there wasn't fish every day. Some days there are several types. It surprised us a little that in one day there are three types of fish, and two days there are none at all. It could probably be distributed for every day. Overall, we liked the food. Some dinners are very good, some are just fine)) I didn't like that dinner was served before 20:45 and at 20:40 they were already running to clean up the food, maybe even starting to clean up a little earlier. I came up with a plate to report something, and they take the dish from under your hands.
The alcohol is an ordinary local. The wine is even normal for Turkish. In some hotels there was sourness, which is difficult to drink. But it tastes like anyone.
The hotel has two buildings. Mostly the rooms are a little more expensive, but the building is better. The room has central air conditioning. It worked well. And I liked that it was turned on automatically during the day, turned off at night, and the room was quite comfortable. But you can also turn it on yourself as you want.
In general, the hotel met our expectations of the amount paid. Of course, if you pay more, you can take a better hotel, but that's who wants to relax for what amount.

Great hotel! A good, solid 4*!!! We had a rest at the end of July 2023, got into the hotel by accident. We took a tour to a 5* hotel (which did not even pull 3*) and the tour operator moved us to Poseidon. We moved into an additional building, the view is excellent on the sea, the beach is good, the entrance is sandy, a little rocky, but corals were not required. There are two piers, one with sun beds and umbrellas, the second is open. The food is good, meat and fish have always been in the diet. It's not a big pool, but we preferred to swim in the sea, and that's why we came. By the way, they put us in a room that overlooked the restaurant, there was always a disco in the evening, we liked it, someone might be noisy.

Room cleaning: if you don't leave a tip, then cleaning is just for show. Towels, shampoo, liquid soap, cotton swabs, shower caps, air conditioning are in the room. The beach is small. It's right in front of the hotel. There is a bridge with sun beds and a floating platform. Places should be occupied early in the morning. There are almost always places on the platform.
We took excursions from Salih (Russian). He works on the waterfront near the hotel. We took Pamukkale, Dalyan, a yacht, a sea tour from him, we liked everything, thanks to him for the rest, excellent service. The prices are about 2 times cheaper than the guide at the hotel.

I am currently vacationing at the Poseidon 4* hotel, July 2022. I want to thank the staff for a wonderful stay. Everyone is very attentive, the cleaning and service are good. Very convenient location, 1 line, its own beach with sun beds, pier, pantone. From 11 am you can use the bar, at 12 delicious burgers, nuggets, vegetables. Alcohol without restrictions, cocktails are made, I really liked it. Alcohol is of high quality, although local. The food is without frills, there is no seafood, but there was fish, mussels, tender veal, turkey, chicken, many varieties of cheese, eggplants, greens, watermelons, melons, plums, oranges, cherries. There was enough of everything and it was very tasty)!!! There were small queues for dinner, but there were holidays in Turkey, the hotel was 99% full. But we always had enough space and food.
It's good to walk along the prominade in the evening. There are no animators in the hotel, but there was music, and in the evening there was live dancing, too.
This is a 16+ hotel, there are no children, no strollers, no screams.
I recommend the Poseidon hotel, for relaxation, good location, near Migros and Stockman.

A lovely hotel right on the Marmaris a waterfront. Gorgeous views of the bay from the rooms with a view. Great restaurant. Of course, it does not pull at 5*, but 4 * are solid. All rooms in the main two buildings are new and well renovated. Excellent mattresses and bed linen.
